One fond memory was when visiting my newly constructed home way back when was his asking me: ‘What do you plan to do when you’re watching TV and want popcorn? Commercials are usually 60 seconds.” Hadn’t thought about it. “Nothing like a few wet or dry bars with a microwave.” I still think of his kind face, his gentle, humble manner, when corn pops in the subsequently added wet bars with microwaves.
