Calla, thank you for your unique perspective and pulling the curtain on the window into France. Do the French receive their news and information like we do in the U.S. ? Berney

The French news is run by the government and they control everything the people read or hear.

Your articles are very interesting and I’m going to make this recipe. I hope I can find Kirsh in California. Thank you!

Kirsh is a blend of white wine and fruit liquor. You can make it it. I have.

Merci Bernard, French news ---Oui. U.S. news---rarely, unless it's TDS based, unfortunately.

We have missed you. Good to see you back and has your wrist now fully healed? Your offering today is perfect. We are getting tales from EU soccer fans now visiting the FIFA matches who traveling all around the country to see them.

They report they are stunned that the US is nothing like they have been told in their own media. They love America and the American people. And even our fast food. Particularly Ranch dressing and are stuffing their suitcases with it, causing TSA to warn the size of the bottles must go in their checked luggage and not carryon.

Visitors from Germany, Scotland……but so far no reports from France…..yet.

Merci Loweg! Yes, I've been following the "new love affaire" of soccer fans for America! Only on FOX however is the romance covered. No, my wrist will always be a bother as I had to wait 3 days at home to have it put together and no new X-rays were taken before operation. Wrist bones probably moved in those 3 days. I Don't recommend hospitals here!!! CJC

The French probably banned the French people from going to the US.

I am very familiar with these delicious pastries of the French people. As my husband is French and his relatives live In France.

My relatives are also experiencing this heat wave. I laughed hysterically when Macrons approach to this was to ban Public Drinking. That was his solution. No cooling centers no emergency etc...

One thing to remember the French are governed By Macron a globalist and a

Socialist. Must we never forget that they are Socialists of which NY is now becoming.

Sorry,I just have to point out a few things. Some French team that won the Championship and league title was Paris ST Germain. Their soccer is very important to them and their team.

There was rioting etc..but when is there not. With Macrons Socialist immigration policies many migrants have invaded France. You can arrest them. He just lets them destroy things and hurt people.

Case in point a young woman is now on trial after being attacked and calling out the attacker for what they are and the threat to French women. She was attacked and assaulted, yet she's on trial.

If you have not heard or read that those migrants also beat a 17 year old to death due to these immigration policies.

Bourkas are not French attire. Bourkaa are something that a Muslim would woman wears as they are forced to not show their face in public.

I have been a part of this French Family for many years now and I am still an outsider in their eyes.

I do believe the French people have become more friendly in recent years but if your are not French, you'll never be French in their eyes.

In Summary France although beautiful and they produce beautiful products and foods are still a Socialist and not a Free Country.

We are the land of the Free and always will be.
