UCSB, UCLA, BERKELEY, IRVINE all experienced annual votes on BDS for years on end as well as major campus unrest with severe antisemitic themes. With the start of a new school year, 9/11 and 10/7 soon upon us many wonder if our kids are going to be safe and are our tax dollars funding education that is contrary to the values we hold dear. What occurs on our college campuses finds its way into all aspects of k-12 education, think ethnic studies, so while the article deals with legislation out of DC it has very real local impact.
