“A pity it didn’t lunge forward and strangle the cowardly tyrant.” I find it unseemly — make that morally disgusting — that you're suggesting assassination of anyone would be a good thing, Mr. Eringer. Doing that makes you — and SB Current— no different than the Leftist pundits and media joking about assassinating Trump or cheering the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Great Thanksgiving message.
To date, over 800,000 people (military & civilian, Ukrainian & Russian) have been killed as a result of Putin’s unprovoked and very brutal invasion of Ukraine. All because of his Yertle the Turtle mentality and a campaign to reunite former Soviet republics that for 70 years were sucked dry by Moscow. On top of which, Mad Vlad continually threatens Europe, the UK, and the USA with nuclear annihilation. His strangulation by renegade robot would be a Thanksgiving gift. Not just to the West, but to his own people, who would rejoice like the Winkie Guard and Flying Monkeys when Dorothy, with a bucket of water, melted the Wicked Witch of the West.
I read this article titled "Appeasement a No-Go! Larry Summers a Schmo! Elon Musk’s Big Blow! Thanksgiving Aglow!" By Robert Eringer. Here are opposing views. Think Before You Leap.
It is alittle more involved than this article. Operation Paperclip, Regime Change, Military
Industrial/Intelligence Complex ..... Deep State ... on and on ....
"....During the Biden administration I often thought about a Mike Vanderboegh quote when it seemed like we were under unrelenting opposition and victory was a distant hope:
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible.
Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it could not be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly will not be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”......"
Thank you for adequate justification to drop out of the online world completely.
Online connections had such promise back in the 1990's. But the range of perfidies it also offers today equals the world some of us had wished to escape, after suddenly having the world's wisdom and knowledge at our own fingertips. Even on a clunky Kaypro.
However today, this online world was not progress after all. It carries all the flaws that still exist in the human heart. While life online still offers tremendous wisdom; it can longer offer escape. Plus c'est la change, plus c'est la même chose.
We humans remain a cussed lot as electrons or as flesh and bones, which I guess is still comforting bedrock. And human choice to engage or disengage remains our most elevated virtue.

Most have no idea about Russia and Ukraine.

The first article in the Current I've ever found to be vulgar and mean spirited.
WOW, from where does he get all this stuff?
