The first article in the Current I've ever found to be vulgar and mean spirited.

“A pity it didn’t lunge forward and strangle the cowardly tyrant.” I find it unseemly — make that morally disgusting — that you're suggesting assassination of anyone would be a good thing, Mr. Eringer. Doing that makes you — and SB Current— no different than the Leftist pundits and media joking about assassinating Trump or cheering the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Great Thanksgiving message.

To date, over 800,000 people (military & civilian, Ukrainian & Russian) have been killed as a result of Putin’s unprovoked and very brutal invasion of Ukraine. All because of his Yertle the Turtle mentality and a campaign to reunite former Soviet republics that for 70 years were sucked dry by Moscow. On top of which, Mad Vlad continually threatens Europe, the UK, and the USA with nuclear annihilation. His strangulation by renegade robot would be a Thanksgiving gift. Not just to the West, but to his own people, who would rejoice like the Winkie Guard and Flying Monkeys when Dorothy, with a bucket of water, melted the Wicked Witch of the West.

Yeah, we don't mind assassinating some entry-level drug guys when we're blowing boats out of the Caribbean. Polly - What do you think about that? Should we be intervening and arresting them or just slaughtering them?

John, do you know anyone in our Military working against the drug Cartel? You do know they throw babies into the ocean knowing the Military has to and WILL go to save the baby, even if it means the drugs could get to our shores, RIGHT? Do you know any of the families just here in Santa Barbara that have lost someone to drug death? I could go on BUT, I'll stop here to....

Bonnie - I don't have any problem with dealing with drugs or other things with a heavy hand. I'm just pointing out to Polly that Eringer's suggestion that someone strangle Putin isn't out of line with what we're doing already.

I read this article titled "Appeasement a No-Go! Larry Summers a Schmo! Elon Musk’s Big Blow! Thanksgiving Aglow!" By Robert Eringer. Here are opposing views. Think Before You Leap.

It is alittle more involved than this article. Operation Paperclip, Regime Change, Military

Industrial/Intelligence Complex ..... Deep State ... on and on ....

Most have no idea about Russia and Ukraine.

Right Again Walther, most people educated in the West have no clue about the Russia/Ukraine relationship & history…

given the daily loss of life in the current war (military incursion), sad that the same narratives continue to swirl with very little mention of the bio labs in Ukraine (which Russia has been speaking of for more than a decade), or the agreement by the US and the West to not expand NATO one country beyond East Germany after the wall came down, or no mention of the Nazi units within the Ukrainian National Guard fighting on the front lines, or the history in the Donbass where civilians were shelled for years because they wanted to retain their Russian language and heritage within their culture, or the current and past corruption in Ukraine, both within the Ukrainian government and deep state players that like to use Ukraine as a laundry room…the list goes on…

I see it as another war propagated by the Deep State War Machine, driven by the Khazarians…same people that hijacked the Russian Revolution and overthrew the government in 1917 to install communism…the bad blood goes back 1000 years, when the Rus went to war against the Khazarians for their evil practices, defeating them, and scattering them across Europe.

would be nice if critics would listen to and play words out of people’s mouths, rather than spinning narratives…also wise to listen to our so-called enemies.

Once again - Mr. Eringer is partaking of the wacky tobaccy on Ukraine and Russia. It's people who think like him who will get us into a war nobody here wants because it doesn't serve the interests of approximately 87% of the U.S. population.

Robert - thanks for the parts about billionaires. I know many on this substack think the more uber-rich the better but this is what my AI spat out. You can figure out what my question was...

The top 0.1%—approximately 134,000 households—collectively hold $23.3 trillion in wealth as of Q2 2025. The bottom 50% consists of roughly 66.75 million households who collectively own just $4.4 trillion.

This is what's messed up in the US and will bring us down in a decade or few. Not a few trans kids or blown-up drug boats.
