Big Pharma has suddenly rediscovered America, pledging tens of billions in domestic investments after decades of outsourcing—but only because tariffs threaten to rattle the pill bottle.
The question isn’t why they’re building plants here now—it’s why they didn’t do it decades ago.
An even bigger question: Why did our so-called leaders ever allow life-saving medications to depend on the goodwill of China?
But we already know the answer: For years we were led down a garden path by multiple administrations or both parties that promised voters everything while quietly signing off on trade deals that shipped our production overseas and turned our pharmaceutical supply chain into a geopolitical house of cards—while causing the folks of many once-booming towns to board up their homes, their towns, and bail.
And why did they do this?
So multinational corporations (globalists) could cut costs, pad profits, and outsource labor to regimes where workers can’t even call in sick—because they can’t speak out at all.
Even in a global economy, national self-sufficiency—food, medicine, energy—should never be out-sourced.

My analogy to the citizen of El Salvador Garcia is if some other country returned to the U.S. a U.S. citizen who was placed in a U.S. jail, and then wanted the U.S. to release him and send him back to that country. Undoubtedly the U.S. would decline by asserting its sovereign right over its own citizens.
