I began my journalism career in 1976 by investigating what many dismissed as a fringe conspiracy theory: the Bilderberg Group. This elite, secretive gathering of political and business leaders from North America and Europe had met annually since 1954 to shape global economic and foreign policy—behind closed doors.
They are the original globalists.
As a student at American University, I wrote to government agencies and embassies, but was met with denials or silence. Even the UK Foreign Office claimed no record of the group, despite British Chancellor Denis Healey being one of its founders. I eventually uncovered its U.S. base—a Manhattan office camouflaged as a corporate firm—where I confirmed the group’s existence.
My research earned me top marks and led to a magazine story forecasting the group’s 1977 meeting in Torquay, England. When dignitaries Helmut Schmidt, Henry Kissinger, and David Rockefeller appeared as forecast, the press—until then unaware of Bilderberg—was stunned. For the first time, the mainstream media acknowledged its existence.
Bilderberg’s origins trace back to 1946, when Joseph Retinger proposed unifying Europe to counter the Soviet threat. With CIA funding and support from Rockefeller and Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands, the group covertly supported European integration, helping lay the groundwork for the EU—and a New World Order choreographed by globalists.

Why is pride an exclusive membership? Shouldn’t everyone get to be proud?
Four other categories come to mind:
Dads who installed ceiling fans without electrocuting themselves.
Moms who made it through the school pickup line without flipping off another driver.
Writers who finally used semicolons correctly.
Gen Z who showed up to something on time (or kept a job for more than month).

Putin has the credibility of a mob boss preaching nonviolence at a funeral he arranged.

As war rages between Israel and Iran within the Middle East tinderbox, and tensions rise between Trump and Putin over peace for Ukraine, some pundits wonder if World War III is on the horizon.
This piece speculates what a nuclear attack on U.S. soil would look like.
It doesn’t look pretty for California…

It begins…
Vandenberg Space Force Base, 11 miles north of Lompoc, is a top-tier Russian nuclear target— and so is Los Angeles due to its high density population. (Russian targeting is tightly focused on military bases, large civilian populations and critical infrastructure, a doctrine based on inflicting as much damage as possible and rendering it difficult for the opposing country to survive.)
If Mad Vlad explodes a nuclear “Tsar Bomba” (100 million tons of TNT) as an airburst over Vandenberg, almost everyone in Santa Barbara will die from thermal burns or radiation sickness.
It is for you to monitor news media and read the signs carefully. And if/when you think a nuclear attack is a real possibility, pack up the car (your gasoline tank should always be half full) and get the heck out of Dodge.
