In the days since September 10, 2025, when the unthinkable shattered our world, I’ve found myself rewatching many of Charlie Kirk’s clips, not just the fiery speeches that rallied millions, but also the quiet truths he shared daily. One compilation in particular inspired me to write this piece.
These were not scripted; they were impromptu gems, born in moments when his wife, Erika, turned the camera on him and asked, “What are your words of wisdom for the day?” Some were his own, others were drawn from his deep knowledge of history and theology, in digestible form for a generation starving for truth.
A video compilation of these moments captured the warmth and wit of those exchanges – a reminder of the man behind the mic. Even though Charlie left us far too early, he has left behind a treasure trove of conservative content unmatched in quality, a legacy of wit, wisdom, and insight in his videos that can be revisited and applied for generations. He inspired more than can be quantified, igniting countless hearts to stand for truth.
As the left clings to its tired script of demonization, painting him even in death as some villainous specter, we on the right refuse to mirror their chaos. We don’t torch cities or fracture communities in rage. Our grief burns with a different fire: one of resolve, of peaceful assembly, of hearts knitting together across continents for the sacred cause of freedom, liberty, and Faith.
Charlie would want to make this political, not in the petty sense of partisanship, but in the fierce, unyielding defense of truth that he lived for. What the enemy meant for evil, God will turn to good.
I joined the congregation at Godspeak Calvary Chapel in Newbury Park, a church Charlie called home, at a vigil held just hours after his assassination. Pastor Micah, wordless, turned to the Bible’s timeless clarity, reading Philippians 1:21 to a packed room: “For to me, to live is Christ,” hard, persecuted, painful, “and to die is gain.” That gathering, steeped in prayer and mourning, became a cornerstone for the work ahead.
Charlie’s assassination has forged him into a martyr the left dare not name, but history will remember: a man whose blood has awakened a sleeping giant, not to destruction, but to destiny.
Words of Wisdom
We should honor him not with hollow eulogies, but with the very words he lived by. Charlie had so many excellent quotes, drawn from his vast knowledge and shared generously, but these are great examples of his impromptu wisdom.
• “Grammar matters more than people realize.”
• “Learn how to say words backwards.”
• “Power shows the man. You want to find out a lot about somebody, give them a bunch of power.”
• “The wise man loves to be corrected. Anyone who wants to replace error with truth is wise.”
• “To know the road ahead, ask those coming back.”
• “Lost time is never found again.”
• “He who lies with dogs will rise with fleas.”
• “Taste your words before you spit them out.”
• “Counting other people’s sins does not make you a saint.”
• “No gains without some pains.”
• “Speed is only useful if you’re going in the right direction.”
• “Wisdom listens.”
These words, once candid moments with Erika, now become part of history. Around the globe, from massive rallies in the United States, London, and South Korea, to prayer circles in cities all around the world, millions are mourning not with Molotov cocktails, but with clasped hands. We are gathering in churches and coffee shops, on social media and street corners, not to plan our violent revenge but to stand up for the freedoms Charlie died defending.
With this unity, we will find strength the left cannot comprehend. They mock our tears as weakness, our restraint as defeat; we see in our actions the quiet thunder of a movement reborn. If someone is saying something negative about Charlie, ask them to give you the context. Watch it with them if possible and have a discussion. Many people who think he is a racist bigot have only seen out-of-context clips or none at all—let’s change that.
Resurrecting Charlie’s Vision
The left won’t whisper “martyr” for fear it elevates him, but the truth echoes louder than their denial. Charlie’s death isn’t an end; He would demand we make it political, not to bicker, but to build, to turn evil to good through action.
Godspeak’s vigil, anchored by Pastor Micah’s reading of Philippians, reminds us: to live is to fight for Christ, through hardship and persecution; to die is to gain eternity, but also to ignite a legacy. What will be ours? Where the left once rioted, we rise over sacrifice, channeling anguish into action.
In California and beyond, we cannot just remember Charlie; we must resurrect his vision through local battles for school boards and city councils, events on campus that ignite young hearts, and create legal shields against the censors.
Make this pledge: to taste your words before they leave your lips, to listen with wisdom, to press forward with pains that promise gains.
Charlie – if you are reading this – your grammar, unyielding and unapologetic, will rewrite the story. Your videos, full of wit, wisdom, and insight, will guide generations. We carry your torch not in vengeance, instead turning what was meant for evil into a triumph of good.

So beautifully written. Let this be our resolve, "We carry your torch not in vengeance, instead turning what was meant for evil into a triumph of good."
Justin, this is one of the most beautiful pieces written about Charlie Kirk. For me, Charlie transcends politics as we are living through it today. He speaks - and will continue to speak - to the best part in all of us and remind us that despite our differences we must love life on this planet unconditionally. I mention you in my Substack here along with the two other people who've written the best about Charlie Kirk: Seán Ono Lennon and James Howard Kunstler. https://pollysnewsletter.substack.com/p/life-after-sepsispart-one
