To help with that, I’m sharing links to several organizations where people can report suspected trafficking, support prevention and survivor care through donations, or volunteer. I have not personally investigated each organization in depth, so I encourage everyone to do their own research and use discernment before becoming involved.
When I once took a photo of a child that my child trafficker neighbor had at his house and found that same child was indeed missing on an independent child trafficking website, I called said website and quickly discerned that the website was working for the child traffickers. Too long a story to post here.

Also, every government program and NGO set up to combat a particular problem by definition have a vested interest in that very same problem to continue.
Why? Cause if they fixed the problem the staff would lose their jobs.
Case in point: check out recent stories on the Southern Poverty Law Center. They secretly funded the leaders of extremist groups.
Too bad none of those prior programs "Trump cut" could produce any accountability for dollars spent and benefits accrued. Plus, the actual worthy programs were taken over by SOS Rubio for closer coordination with actual US foreign policy. They were not eliminated if they proved their direct worthiness.

Question Henry: you identified a problem, what are you doing anout it, or advising others to do about it? Are you encouraging the City to install security cameras in the Funk Zone, parks and known pick up zones? Contacting the BOS that our elected Sheriff needs to not only operate the jail but cooperate with ICE to help ensure our safety? Why not help support the Jr League with its two safe houses. Help create a needed safe house for young teen males, become a CASA. Food insecurity makes young kids vulnerable, easy targets.
We all know street smarts matter, and parents matter. Sadly, too many local kids lack all that’s required from a parent, family or ‘our village’. There’s much to be done that’s ignored or unknown. I’d appreciate reading and hearing of problems with suggested actions to problem solve.

Picking on Santa Barbara, the homeless issue used to be confined to a small jungle where the Fess Parker hotel sits now. Everyone knew it and both sides kept their distance. The real issue today is the massive influx of illegals who were or are gang bangers, cartels who have trafficking as just another one of their business operations along with drug dealing, theft and whatever else they can do illegally. YOU want to do something. Vote the right way. Get rid of the liberal wokeness nonsense. Go back to enforcing the laws. Arrest criminals. Send every illegal home and for God's sake put an end to our election corruption and prevent non citizens from voting.
