Who said America doesn't manufacture anything anymore? A manufactured virus begot a manufactured pandemic which in turn brought us an ineffective and dangerous shot, school closures, business closures and on and on. This crisis was wholly manufactured and created opportunities that were not wasted. It was used as an excuse to change election laws unconstitutionally in ways which favored the Democrat party. It was used to generate billions in profits for pharma. It was used to extend government power and to limit individual liberty. It primed Americans to accept government emergency powers they would not otherwise have been granted. It is being used today by the WHO in an attempt to usurp national sovergnty. This massive fraud has taught me a valuable lesson. I no longer trust our institutions, our universities, our doctors or medical publications. Right here in Santa Barbara in June 2021 I tried to get data to support the fact that natural immunity was effective and that those previously infected did not need a vaccine. I wrote to Van Do-Reynoso director of SB public health multiple times requesting data on repeat infection rates and she refused to comply. Similarly my FOIA requests to the CDC were ignored. This was fraud on such a massive scale it is hard to imagine.

something weird is happening & the media isn't telling us about it...what’s going on?

- Excess deaths are through the roof, with a 1101% increase among children aged 0-14 in Europe

- Birthrates have collapsed all over the world at the same time and nobody knows why

worth remembering…Evil surrounds us…

Why were elderly COVID-19 positive patients forced (pushed) into nursing homes (known hot zones) if ample capacity existed to support locally?

Can you logically explain why select [D] gov(s) made decisions re: elderly push into hot zones which [knowingly] contradicted federal guidelines as well as general common sense (think annual influenza death rate(s) re: age group 65+)?

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/05/23/21-million-nyc-field-hospital-closes-after-never-seeing-a-single-patient/

if elderly most at risk [known] why order COVID-19 positive patients back into nursing homes?

these people will stop at nothing to preserve power…for those that haven’t figured it out, current events are not about Trump’s “corruption”, it all about making sure you don’t figure out about their evil & corruption…

Jeff...you're a scientist and understand one must always start with root cause analysis. In this case I'm referring to scientific proof of claim that there is a pathogenic virus at work. It appears you've assumed this is the case....so you're likely operating like everyone else with a belief in viruses. I strongly suggest you do some research and reading regarding Virology and it's claims. You will find only pseudo science...lack of true isolation of virus particles....so no control of the independent variable....no true control study...only assumptions at play....circular reasoning. Same goes for contagion studies...zero proof that germs are at play. I'll post some links below to a page of facts and a page of alternative resources....this will challenge your scientific thinking....give it like 10 hours of study before responding.

I like your FOIA actions...good on you....check out Christine Massey's sub for her >200 FOIAs looking for proof a virus even exists...

We learned as much about "covid" from the very early Diamond Princess cruise ship reported incident, as we did after trillions of dollars and years of extreme global dislocation later. It was a bad UR flu, not particularly virulent nor widespread, and old people over 80 do die at some point in their lives on a cruise ship or not. Particularly with multiple co-morbidities already in place.

The entire world, for reasons not fully explored, was ready for a moment of mass global hysteria and that is the most interesting aspect of it all. I propose it was because the digital Age of Information had morphed into the Age of Disinformation, which created a very unsettling time of transition around the world. Loss of bedrock created an emotional and spiritual free-fall. "Covid-hysteria" was the horse it rode in on.

So "Disease X" is going to be 100 times more deadly? The question is in whose lab was it created by gain of function research, and who already holds the patent on the "vax" that will be mandated. And who in the elite believe they and theirs have already taken the antidote.

Speaking of excess deaths, this phenomenon has persisted long after Delta became Omicron

There is now a new phenomenon we see on our screens-Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. There are also increased deaths due to heart attacks, strokes and cancers in younger people

The same people who brought you 1) the lab created virus 2) the lockdowns and masks, brought you 3) mRNA Vaccines created and deployed at Warp Speed

The most plausible reason for the ongoing excess deaths is the vaccine - the very cure they concocted to fix the disease they created

Try to get any doctor you know to agree to this proposition

Not very likely, as most of them are vaxed, boosted, and helped get their patients to do the same.

I remember thinking in the Fall of 2019 that unless by some catastrophe the entire US economy was brought to its knees (like the 2008 sub-prime mortgage loan crisis), there was simply no chance that Trump could possibly lose the 2020 election. Simply no chance.

Then, like clockwork (just like 2008), the CCP/Covid-19 pandemic is declared and by March/April the entire US economy is literally shut down and on life support from Government bailouts (just like 2008).

These people (Democrat party and big corporations) will stop at nothing to retain power. Nothing

The "pandemic" did not destroy this country, it was the hysterical government response to something we have no control over. Always was and always will be.

God help us all because these children are still in power.

Two unsung heros of the COVID scam are Steve Hilton and Tucker Carlson.

Hilton: In June 2021 presented a story linking EcoHealthAlliance and Daszak with gain of function research using bat Corona virus and the funding of this research by the NIH. Steve presented contract documents and statements of work. All of this was denied at the time but finally today, funding to EcoHealthAlliance has been suspended. Hilton no longer has a Sundy show on Fox. Puck Pox

Carlsson: In June 2021 presented results of an Israeli study showing natural immunity to be superior to vaccine immunity. He said that this story should be huge but is being ignored. We know now that Tucker was not being ignored. He was rewarded with a pink slip. Puck Pox

Nice job, Andy, on an important issue after one-by-one the Fauci restrictions from "you can catch it from inanimate objects like door handles" to "not get closer than six feet, including ending the centuries old tradition of shaking hands" to "wearing paper masks made in China will prevent distribution," were proven to be a harmful to so much of our daily lives, from negating relationships, communal togetherness, and education, to generating stress.

Maybe liberation from institutionalized "authority figures" will serve us better in the long run. Yes, we do need to question authority. Yes, we do need to trust but verify. And we should never be writing blank checks with tax payers dollars for unstated goals with built in no endpoints.

I do support idealism; but for intangibles. Not blind obedience to human-created institutions. The immediate disparity of "covid perceptions" based only upon political affiliation was proof enough, something else was going on.

The term Monday Night Quarterback comes to mind after reading this article. It appears to have unleashed the conspiracy enthusiasts, as most of the comments are one sided and use the article to justify their point of view. How many of the commentators were physicians, or nurses who bore the brunt of taking care of the sick?

I would venture to say that most people did the best they could with the public’s overall health the driving force. We are still trying to understand the long term effects of having contracted Covid. There are many people who have yet returned to normal.

The point that very few of the commentators bring up is, what did we learn from the Covid Pandemic? Preparation is key. We need to be proactive in realizing that this can happen again perhaps with even worst results. We did such a great job of outsourcing that simple things were unattainable in the early months. Has that changed? I am opened minded and would like to see a thorough analysis of what transpired and what we learned as a result. One could argue that a group of economists have a bias towards money, when what we really need is a group of scientists who can understand the data and provide an unbiased understanding. I am sure the word scientist will bring out a lot of flames. My point exactly. I was hoping the Current was an unbiased look at what is happening in our society.

Does one need a degree in medicine to understand medicine? Can one follow an autodidactic approach and learn the same as a doctor without paying for a degree? I've a BSME and months of training in analytical problem solving....and since 2020 I've over 500 hours of study into modern Virology...I likely have a better understanding of the science than most GP's. My conclusion? Germ Theory is fraud....a scam that is being used as a means of control. Knowing there's a perfectly valid alternative reason why we get sick that does not involve germs as the root cause....suggests only one of these "theories" is the correct one. Research Terrain Theory and take back ownership for your own health.

Your ignorance of the science does not make me a Conspiracy Theorist.

Manny - what is YOUR position in the health care industry?

Expand full comment
Manny Fernandez's avatar

I am not part of the Healthcare industry. I am a Chemist that specialized in organic Chemistry. I also picked up a MBA as I disliked working in a lab and wanted more options. I am old at 77 and have worked since I was 15 1/2 years old. I use to be a Republican back in the Nixon era, but changed to that of a Democrat. I am conservative/moderate with respect to fiscal issues, realizing that Government is not always the best vehicle for making things happen effectively. I am somewhat liberal in other areas. It kind of depends, if you understand me.

Having said that, I find this article somewhat a disappointment in its overt biases and how it begs the question. The author must be proud of what they did, but in my mind they were lazy and have a long ways to go. They found a study that they liked and reported on it as if it was a definitive study of the topic.

One thing I am good at is doing research in reading and studying a topic of interest. Initially the author did not link his regurgitation of the study he referenced. But when he did, it was relatively easy to see how the authors highlighted a complex looking graph to support each of their conclusions. If only the world were that simple.

As an example, please consider the act of Jaywalking. I could collect all the injuries associated with Jaywalking and present them to my audience and proclaim the dangers of Jaywalking and why a law to punish said defendants. On the other hand I might attempt to study the issue to insure I have it right. Obviously this costs money, but humor me.

I might formulate some questions or come up with a theory as to what is happening. Eventually I might start looking at all the Jaywalking episodes whether or not an injury occurs. In the process I find that some streets have more frequent occurrences than others. I start to identify all the streets and then look where injuries occurred. I find that even where there is a high degree of instances, it depends on who was Jaywalking, how old they were, and what physical condition they were in, and oh let’s not forget but also their vision or lack of same. So now I have evidence that all streets have some likelihood of an event occurring. What time of day seems to also impact the likelihood of an event. After much study I have a pretty good idea of which streets, time of day, weather conditions, male or female, age groups, health conditions, etcetera. I am ready to make a law, or laws concerning Jaywalking.

I know the Libertarians out there don’t want Government making up laws to govern Jaywalking. However if they are injuries, bring out the Ambulance, Medical Personnel, Hospitals, etcetera. Ha Ha, just a little jab

Anyway, do we decide to just ban all Jaywalking which is a straightforward way with the lowest cost (Republicans like this approach) or do we designate each street with a probability chart for 8am to 5pm, 5pm to midnight, and midnight to 8am. And include an adder for weather conditions, but keep it simple so as not to confuse people. We should also describe which people are allowed to attempt a crossing. We might need to put a scale and height measurement so that people can determine whether or not they fall within healthy enough or not. Add a visual test or two to insure you have good visibility. Am I getting carried away, or are things a bit more complex then a single chart? Do I test everyone and label them so that we can know they had a decent chance of making it across the street?

Is it evident that simple things are not that simple. Do I punish those who break the rules and cross when they should not. Do I provide care to anyone injured?

In the end we try and do what we can to benefit the most people we can while also limiting the impact of our decisions. Is the cure worst than the disease? It depends on your perspective, and what is important to you.
