I read this run-for-supervisor article titled "Elijah Mack Wants To Be Your Second District County Supervisor" By Elijah Mack

As anyone reading my posts here, the problems in Santa Barbara are significant and very serious.

I read about Elijah from his political weblinks.

Many people strongly believe, especially MAGA folks that we need a Trump-Like-Leader, part

junk-yard-dog, attacker of all things Democrat, qausi storm-trooper and Fight-Fight-Fighter.

You seem way-to-nice Elijah and I mean that in a Good-Way. No Disrespect.

If there is a Trump-Like-King in Santa Barbara Ready and Willing> SB Leaders will Destroy him.

Santa Barbara County needs to replace Capps with a strong candidate who knows business, budgets, and can coalition build to cut spending in half. ‘Dream’ on Elijah, as you study and learn the complexities of government, and politics. I appreciate learning your dreams, which remind me of then young D3 Westside Council Rep Oscar Gutierrez, who needed a job, lived with his mom. Oscar has proven himself to be an emboldened, arrogant disaster because he was grossly under-informed, unprepared, and too ignorant to ever become a successful leader capable of attaining results. To be re-elected, to hold onto his paycheck, he had to align with radical DSA-SB Chapter progressives.

D1 Montecito -Carp BOS Rep Roy Lee was elected solely to remove Das Williams. Lee is a puppet of D2 Capps, because he’s ‘nice guy ignorant and incapable’ just like Salud Carbajal, who also needs to go. You’re running because Capps needs to go, and you are who the local GOP found to run who will get the usual 36-39% of cast votes.

Our County has too many nice guys who need a job.

I seek proven executive calibre forces who can and will do what needs to be done. More candidates like stellar retired Cmdr Bob Smith! If Bob Smith is not elected to oust Salud, we locals will have confirmation that we are surrounded by stupid voters who will risk country, safety, family and self to be part of the prevailing destructive far left tsunami in control.

I appreciate Mr. Mack’s sincerity and desire for public service. Would like to know more about your bio, education, relevant business experience, religious affiliation and vision to improve tax base and most importantly, lowering our taxes.

In other California politics, serious criminal accusations have been made against a member of our congressional delegation. Rep. Eric Swalwell has been accused of raping a former staff member and other women have come forward with similar allegations. Pelosi, Khanna, Schiff and others have urged Swalwell to resign and drop out of the Governor’s race. Just like rats fleeing a sinking ship. Amazing how Democrats can throw each under the bus in record time and move on like nothing happened ie, changing and renaming numerous public streets from Cesar Chavez to some other lefty martyr. Changing a recognized State holiday in the process as well, all in record time! Monique Limon didn’t miss a beat, got to hand it to her!

First and foremost, Eric Swalwell is a depraved, malignant, vile and repulsive individual, that has done irreparable harm to California voters. But why do these charges come now?

I hate it when women do this. Why did they remain silent for years as he served in pivotal roles within the US Congress? Why did we have to endure his malfeasance, incompetence and narcissism all these years? Why now?

Ouch JT! You talk as if you have first hand knowledge of when head case, loser and druggie, E. Jean Carroll accused Trump of sexual assault in a crowded department store dressing room? Then the ignoramus couldn’t even remember what year it was!

Sounds like you're talking about both Swalwell and Trump?

Since Democrats support No Kings, why do we have a hereditary political family like Walter Capps, to Lois Capps, and now down to Laura Capps?

As the real King in the musical "The King and I" declaimed .....it is a puzzlement.

What do we know about the people "who can afford to live in this area?" Distorting market forces to benefit only those "who cannot afford to live here", has become a fools errand since there is no end point.

For over 50 years, we have never made this area "affordable" for everyone who wants to live here. Why are you even including this hoary demand in your election appeal?

Both city and county are now swimming in projected red ink, and yet again threatening to withhold regular infrastructure maintenance which benefits residents at large, in order to fully fund government employee union demands and this endless siren call for "more affordable housing". Huh? There is a disconnect between these two goals.

Who , what, when how and why do you justify chasing these endless amounts of "affordable housing"? Details and data please, not more campaign aphorisms. We have major problems in the fiscal sustainability for even basic government services our tax dollars support, yet the only solution is to provide "more affordable housing" for the select few?

I don't get it.
