In 2026 the Democrats and mainstream media have shown an enormous amount of interest in the files of Jeffrey Epstein but no interest in the files of Hunter Biden.
Epstein and Biden both had unusual sexual habits, numerous interactions with politicians, and undisclosed sources of wealth.
The DOJ/FBI have had both the files of Epstein and the computer files of Biden since 2019.
The Epstein files allegedly mention Trump while the Biden files do not.
Does the interest in the Epstein files, but not the Biden files, suggest Democrats and mainstream media suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome?
The Epstein Files
In June 2008, the U.S. agreed not to prosecute Epstein for federal crimes after he pled guilty in state court of soliciting prostitution from someone under the age of 18.
In January 2009, Barack Obama became President.
No charges were filed during the Obama presidency even after Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s lawyers filed court papers claiming Epstein forced her to have sexual encounters with world leaders, all of whom denied the allegations.
In January 2017, Donald Trump became President.
On Dec. 6, 2018, FBI began a new investigation into Epstein that led to new sex trafficking charges and included rumors of the involvement of former President Bill Clinton.
On August 10, 2019, while Epstein was being held in the Democrat-run Metropolitan Correction Center in New York City, he was found dead under suspicious circumstances that were ruled a suicide.
In January 2021, Joseph Biden became President.
The Democrats and the mainstream press showed no interest in the DOJ/FBI Epstein files during the entire Biden presidency.
In January 2025, Donald Trump, after again becoming President, asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to release all the Epstein files.
While the DOJ.FBI was reviewing the millions of pages, the Democrat-mainstream media, after showing no interest for the four Biden years, displayed their TDS by accusing the DOJ of covering up Trump’s involvement.
In November 2025, the Republican-led House of Representatives began hearings on the Epstein files.
On January 30, 2026, the DOJ, pursuant to the Epstein Transparent Act, published a final major tranche of Epstein-related records totaling roughly 3.5 million pages out of more than 6 million pages identified for review.
The scope of the release went beyond prior court-driven unseals by sweeping in internal and investigative materials from multiple sources, including the Epstein-Maxwell matters and reviews connected to Epstein’s 2019 jail death.
The disclosures include emails, photos, videos, logs, and court records.
DOJ officials defended their extensive redactions as necessary to protect victim identities and sensitive material, including categories involving medical information and illegal sexual abuse imagery.

Barack and Michelle Obama; Joe , Jill and Hunter Biden; Bill and Hillary Clinton; Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Adam Schiff, and Nancy Pelosi.

The former British Ambassador to the U.S. Peter Mandelson, who resigned.
Morgan McSweeney, Chief of Staff for British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who resigned.
David Allan, former British deputy press secretary under Sir Tony Blair and executive director of communications under PM Starmer, who resigned
British police said they were examining claims that the former Prince Andrew sent confidential trade reports to Jeffrey Epstein.
Norway’s anti-corruption watchdog, Økokrim, brought charges of aggravated corruption against former ambassador Mona Juul over information revealed in the Epstein files.
Juul’s husband, Terje Rød-Larsen, a former diplomat and former president of the International Peace Institute (IPI), faces charges of aiding and abetting.
Dubai-based global supply chain and port manager DP World’s Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem stepped down from his role as group Chairman and CEO following the release of his name in the Epstein Files.
Sweden’s Princess Sofia, a former model and TV personality, breaks silence on Epstein encounters after DOJ file release and speaks about meeting Epstein at social events in her 20s.
Kathryn ‘Kathy’ Ruemmler, former White House counsel to Barack Obama and presently top lawyer at investment bank Goldman Sachs, announced her resignation based on the deluge of emails between her and Jeffrey Epstein showing a close relationship including her describing him as an ‘older brother’ and making little of his sex crimes.
Democrat President Clinton only agreed to testify before Congress after being threatened with contempt.

Donald Trump and members of his family are mentioned in the files but not in connection with any crimes.
Conclusion
It appears that the TDS-suffering Democrats’ and mainstream media’s choice of using the Epstein – rather than the Hunter – files backfired, as Epstein’s political friends turned out to be primarily Democrats and key members of friendly countries.

Like taking candy from a baby. What a surprise…not!
BTW, why hasn’t the MSM looked deeper into some of these women’s backgrounds? Were they innocently abducted against their will, or were they willing, gold digging accomplices? Also, where were these girl’s parents when all this was going on?
