Democrats and the Media Still Don’t Get It

I was recently checking out at the grocery store and wearing my favorite baseball cap. It simply had the numbers 45 and 47 on it. The eighteen-year-old bagger looked at it and he said, “That is so cool.”

I replied with a smile, “Subtle, but makes a statement.”

The middle-aged female checker looked up and asked, “What?” The young man told her the meaning. She burst into a huge smile and said, “I want one!”

The ensuing conversation was one of Joy. The kid was so happy about the Trump win. The checker was too. We all agreed it was four long years overdue. On 11/5 the voters unleashed their “feelings” and let those with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) know things are going to change. I told the young man how happy I was to see he wasn’t fooled by the media and all the lies. He said, “No way.” He saw through it all. The checker said the same thing. It was heartwarming. Even my own grandkids, both in college, also voted using common sense, along with many of their friends. I had been wrong in a previous article thinking otherwise about our youth.

They were not all bamboozled.

The left and the socialist crowd can’t wrap their brains around what the majority of the country wanted and got. When you look at a map by how much Trump won, it’s staggering. Even California showed some sanity. The usual suspects of the coastal communities still held to their misguided thinking by voting to keep the country on the wrong track. Fortunately, the strength of middle America and the working people overpowered them.

The Sky Says Put

The media and Democrats are still shouting “The sky is falling!” as Trump moves forward knocking them all over like bowling pins.

I can’t put into words the high so many of us are enjoying. There’s just a new feeling of optimism floating on the breeze across this great land. The stagnation we were in is finally being flushed away and replaced with flowers and green grass. All the while the media is scrambling to find something with any substance to make it not so. They continue to screw up by addressing many Americans as if they still don’t matter. The “legacy” media as they’re now being called, is talking to itself. Even open-minded Democrats admit they made a mess of things. Some are “are seeing the light” and sashaying to the middle.

The Dems and left are freaking out. They’re reluctantly accepting there is nothing they can do about the Trumpster, so now they must go after his appointments. They didn’t learn name calling and using words and phrases such as Nazi, dangerous, and This is what we were warning you about, has become white noise. They’re trying hard to remain relevant and continue to believe what they’re offering is newsworthy.

Using the cliché, “The ship has sailed,” it sailed on November 6th. There’s nothing more they can do. No one cares except the liberal mouthpieces, who are desperately trying to find some way to push back such as getting off X or threatening to move somewhere else. They’re floundering.

A Rioting Love Fest

I try to analyze how the hatred for Trump became all-consuming for so many people. Part of it is – once the personal attacks began, somewhere around 2015 – it blossomed into a liberal mob mindset. It became in vogue for the left to speak up about their hatred and get kudos from fellow liberals for doing so. And there was the fear that if Trump won, he may upset the political apple cart and expose Washington for its corruption. Which is now even more upsetting for the left since that is exactly what’s going to happen. Unable to make their case about anything stick, the left has resorted to sputtering nonsense.

We saw this same mob movement when whoever was pulling the strings behind the scenes after George Floyd’s death had spawned the rioting love fest. Liberals joined the flock in spirit and kept encouraging racism and the destruction of their own country. Yet they take no responsibility for all the chaos they helped be a part of. Because the majority involved were kids of color, that was taboo to point out. Destroying property was called a form of expression. It all worked in the liberals’ favor because they could pretend they cared, and that they weren’t the racist ones. All those self-righteous white folks absorbed the white shame which started another round of racist mobs blaming white people for everything. And I’m talking about the white knee-takers perpetuating that line of thinking.

Gone With the Wind

The next wave of hatred began when the tolerant ones launched the cancel culture revolution and DEI was born. It proved to be very effective in destroying people’s lives and businesses. It was perhaps the most dangerous period this country has ever gone through. For years the left kept telling us it’s all about keeping our democracy while they were simultaneously tearing it down.

Democrats leaned heavily on January 6 as their Hail Mary to bring down the orange one. However, while they were holding their circus court doing their best to destroy Trump and round up grandmas, welders, and store clerks to lock them up, hundreds of thousands of kids died from drugs. The streets became more lethal, and your money held less value. Their priorities were and still are so far off from rational thinking and what’s really important.

The Democrats, media, and talk shows still don’t get it. They continue to blame 75 million-plus voters for their own ills and stupid decisions. They have lived in a comfortable liberal mob bubbles and thought everyone else needed, wanted, to join them.

They thought they were untouchable and now they’re bumping into walls trying make sense of it all.

Well, it’s over and that’s why the left still finds the need to blame something. They have to find peace. They’re so desperate to cling to the fantasy world they believed was real only to realize it wasn’t real at all. Their liberal ideological plan has slipped away overnight.

Hopefully never to return.
