When John Lennon preached peace & love, he could not foresee Charlie Kirk.

The Beatle who wrote All You Need is Love would have been mortified by Gen Z’s casual embrace of violence.

An August 2024 survey by Citizen Data found that nearly half of Gen Z and about 2 in 10 millennials found it acceptable to “forcibly occupy public buildings” or “kill or physically harm” elected officials, respectively.

What happened? We know. Most of us, anyway.

While parents weren’t watching, the militant Left hijacked education and turned classrooms into indoctrination factories.

Lennon imagined a world without war, a world where disagreements didn’t devolve into bloodshed. Having lived through the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK, he would have abhorred a repeat of such violence.

At 20 we think we know everything. Most of us grow out of it. Some never do.

Sadly, Churchill had it right a century ago: “The story of the human race is war. Except for brief and precarious interludes, there has never been peace.”

Indeed, if humanity stood on trial before a universal court, it would be sentenced to death many times over, guilty of outrage after outrage, genocide after genocide.

I cannot help those around me who today cheer violence. They are too far gone in their deranged beliefs.

My faith isn’t in people. It’s in the unconditional love of dogs.

God bless Charlie—for trying. Like Jesus, he preached. Like Jesus—and John Lennon—he was struck down.

The FBI ought to be infiltrating Antifa (now rightly tagged as terrorists) and militant transgender cells (a fast-growing violence-prone fringe), while the media should be shining a light on these amorphous groups—exposing their members, their funding, and their activities.

Here’s hoping Jimmy goes the way of ex-CNN anchor Don Lemon: sidelined, forgotten, irrelevant.
