It is so very ironic that the enemies of God and all His saints are primarily responsible for the rise and rehabilitation of Trump. Of shocking surprise is that the left is so conditioned, brainwashed, and therefore deluded, for the life of them, they cannot figure out what happened. They drink way too much of their own kool-aid.

Forgive me for my skepticism, I have lived through the terms of 12 presidents, and although a number of them had promised to root out inefficiency and cut govt waste, none of them did it. To the contrary, almost everyone of those administrations (including Trump in his first term) presided over a govt that continued to grow. Maybe this presidency and this new dept (DOGE) will finally bend the arc of history, however, I won't hold my breath waiting for it in the meantime.
As I've said before - congratulations to Trump and his team for his victory in 2024. But let's also remember that in the past 60 years only Trump (both times) and Clintons second win (in 1996) have presidents been elected that failed to win over 50% of the voters. So a win this time- yes. But not really a mandate.

Interesting, Musk has done very well with the over 6 billion dollars in Federal subsides to both young Tesla and Solar city. I guess the bureaucrat in charge of doling out that money lucked out. Hope his SS number makes him lucky enough to keep his job.
Musk picked up what was handed to him. Can't fault him for that. If those government offers included a quid pro quo, put it in writing .That is the point - think long before handing out our tax payer dollars.
True and good for Elon. I'm just saying that - in my opinion - one job of the Federal Gov is funding statically risky industries and technologies. If you want to look at those 'investments' on purely ROI for the Fed gov they suck. But if you look at what they do the country, over time, it's a good program.
Elon and Vivek are tasked to do exactly that- find metrics that demonstrate value for tax dollars spent. No more guessing, no more election year games.
It is tall order. but fundamentally necessary one, as we reassess what our nation has become over the past 250 years .
