Bring Melanie to Santa Barbara theaters. It’s time everyone learned the definition of a woman!

John Thomas's avatar

I like the nude pics from the old days. I suppose that a woman, or at least an "easy" one, is a definition.

Steve's avatar

you are such an insecure pussy!

what a loser.

this woman is probably 5times smarter than you and you can't handle it.

cheers

John Thomas's avatar

Thanks for your input Steve. Now go rub one out thinking of your pretty woman. Cheers.

Oh, so with your vast intellectual background - where do you see my insecurity?

TVW's avatar

I always enjoy your intellectual and constructive contributions John.

John Thomas's avatar

Yeah, this one is not either, but making her out to be anything more than a mid-level 'model' that somehow got 'lucky' with an EB-1 visa is delusional.

Brian MacIsaac's avatar

Totally outrageous but predictable that there would not be a Santa Barbara Theatre premiering the movie. Even though we’re having the Santa Barbara film festival beginning a week later. They canceled culture lunatics are alive and well in Santa Barbara.

I saw MELANIA at the Hitchcock in Santa Barbara on 1/30. It looks like it’s scheduled through Thursday if you check the APP.

The French believe propaganda too much. I say that and I am married to a French citizen and know first hand. They live in a socialist society. Told what they can and cannot do by their government.

Besides Macrons little feelings are hurt at the moment. Having a little temper tantrum. Globalists are out.

Melania has so much class and beauty and deserves more respect than she's given.

She has the beauty and grace and resembles the character of two other beautiful women,Princesa Diana and Jakie Kennedy Onasis.

Never heard that but seeing the source ,I don't believe a word.

How about Jill Bidens tackiness????

Earl Brown's avatar

Jill and Joe - Tweedledum and Tweedle-dumber.

John Thomas's avatar

How about this source? You can still purchase a few of them if you like.

https://www.usamemorabilia.com/

I'm surprised they have that socialist Frenchie statue of liberty ornament in this collection.

https://www.usamemorabilia.com/collections/250-collection

GM's avatar

I think you're missing the big picture.

John Thomas's avatar

I don't. Those 90 dollar orniments are the definition of beauty and grace.

GM's avatar

The Statue of Liberty is socialist??? That's a stretch

John Thomas's avatar

I was saying that the folks who made it are socialists - at least in the view of those here.

GM's avatar

It was a gift to the US From France. Yes Eiffel also helped design and another French sculptor.

France is a socialist country and that's how their government structure is.

For instance they tell you how many hours you can work and or when you need to retire.

A Dr will make the same $$$ as a shopkeeper.

In Trump's first term, I wrote a letter to "60 Minutes" suggesting they do a segment on Melania. I had noticed for months since the inauguration, there were NO magazine cover stories on the First Lady. I explained in my letter to CBS that Melania was our first immigrant First Lady. And, from the former Eastern Bloc. I wrote that the production crew could fly to her hometown and build the piece around that. Of course, never heard back. What is political about a nice story about a First Lady? Nothing. Until the Press en masse determine not to.

Earl Brown's avatar

Good for you for writing Celeste, but '60 Minutes' is way too far Left to do anything so 'stylish.'

Celeste Barber's avatar

Earl, agreed. I was recalling the old "60 Minutes," the one that everyone, regardless political baggage, listened for the "Tick Tick Tick" every Sunday night at 7:00. Among my favorite segments, one prior to the Soviet collapse, about Yugoslavia under Tito. Fascinating story about the most western (and economically successful) of the Soviet Satellite states. And then the collapse with the ancient tribal hatreds resurrected, and a new term: "Ethnic Cleansing." (What a sanitized term for evil.) In any case, that Mrs. Trump was dissed, shameful on the part of the Press and 60 Minutes. A lost opportunity: the chance to profile our first immigrant First Lady. That would have made for a great story.

MELANIA: ‘Regal EDWARDS Camarillo Palace’ 680 Ventura Blvd. (38 miles)

MELANIA: THOUSAND OAKS 14’ @166 West Hillcrest Drive ( 50 miles).

MELANIA: ‘REGAL JANSS MARKETPLACE’ 255 Moorpark Rd (50 miles).

Does anyone get a gut feeling that the Reagan revolution is coming to California?

Does one-party sanctuary state have sanctuary for a different party of leaders?

Meanwhile, Carbajal is accepting nominations for a local ‘Woman of the Year’ while filing impeachment against Secretary Kristi Noem. A genuine support of female leadership? No.

Santa Barbara Current's avatar

Thank you for posting more locations beyond the Santa Barbara County bubble! Anyone interested in joining in on the 7:30pm showing in Ventura? Regal Edward's Theater is small and we'd have to book in advance..https://www.regmovies.com/movies/melania-ho00020488?id=213414&site=1009&date=01-30-2026

" . . . the Reagan revolution is coming to California?" Only one way - after the election we can say - "Governor Hilton.'

But it won't happen - too many Dem dopes who will vote for another Commie like Gruesom-Newsom.

If it wasn’t for the internet Calla your decamp (I’m still so jealous) to that French village of yours would have been a great loss to the good ole USA ……if we can keep it. Glenn in Santa Barbara

I love Trumpy - best president ever! He comes across as a brute who should be wearing Melania's jacket - 'I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO YOU?' - main reason I'm his biggest fan. But I have a feeling his pillow-talk might be a bit more sensitive. He's too darn smart to be a thug.

Good One Calla…great to hear an American perspective from across the pond. Here we have the most beautiful First Lady of all time, and the press does everything within their power to downplay her beauty, strength, and power. All because she’s married to a man named Trump. Makes one wonder if the media is controlled by some outside influences, such as the Democrat party or higher players within the Cabal.

I recall when Melania chose not to move into the White House the first 4-6 months during Trump‘s first term, with the media story stating it was because she wanted to remain in New York with her son Baron. Others believe otherwise. Would you believe a DEVICE was placed somewhere in the WH that could actually cause harm to anyone in the room and would in essence be undetected? Fantasy right?

When Trump was elected you can’t possibly imagine the steps taken prior to losing power to ensure future safety & control. Do you think they might’ve also bugged the White House? Anybody recall all of those renovations to the White House upon Trump‘s arrival in the first term? Word on the boards is that Melanie wouldn’t go anywhere near the White House because of all the demonic spells conjured up before the Trumps’ arrival. Half dozen priests & other people of the cloth were brought in to break the spells. Fantasy right?

Earl Brown's avatar

Melania - class broad. You can bet she doesn't pull any punches when Trumpy gets out of line!

Lou Segal's avatar

The Trump marriage reinforces the notion that guys are visual and appearance-oriented and women seek security and financial stability. You can't change human nature, no matter what they are teaching in our woke liberal institutions.

Earl Brown's avatar

I used to be visual and appearance-oriented - until I found out that’s only great for about the first 5 minutes. I finally figured out that sweet, kind, honest is what counts! Melania checks those boxes

Lou Segal's avatar

I doubt the reason why Trump chose Melania is because she is sweet, kind and honest, although she may be all those things.

Lou Segal's avatar

Yes, but we have been doomed to making that mistake since time immemorial.

Earl Brown's avatar

Unfortunately you're right Lou.

Pat Fish's avatar

Yes, she has the style and poise of Jackie O, and when compared to the rumored transvestites Big Mike Obama and Brigitte Macron shines brightly as a female. As for fashion, that "$39 jacket that read on its back, “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO YOU?” " seemed to me like a Marie Antoinette "Let them eat cake" moment and fell flat.

Earl Brown's avatar

"Big Mike Obama"- I can't believe that rag ever personified American femininity.

John Thomas's avatar

Big Pat Fish might not want to throw stones around glass houses.

John Thomas people like you who make personal threats on social media are the reason so many use acronyms and pseudonyms. Pathetic.

Scott Wenz's avatar

Nicely done.

It is always interesting how the French view the world. Cornered fleet with an illegitimate government they chose to literally go down with the ship instead of standing up to the Nazi take over.

The issue in the Ukraine is even more strange how they view their back yard and not supporting people who are being invaded.

Have a good week.

Oh please

Melanoma Melania

She is very talented at immediately making me feel nauseous

A horrible creature clinging to corruption and clawing for respect while dismissing sexual assaults by her husband as boys will be boys - respect which she is immensely incapable of earning

SAD

Earl Brown's avatar

"She is very talented at immediately making me feel nauseous. A horrible creature clinging to corruption and clawing for respect . ."

So who's your hero - Michele Obama?

AVee. (Alexia)'s avatar

Hi Earl

Thank you for your question

If my hero was a First Lady

1. She wouldn’t have lied to get a US Visa

2. She wouldn’t have been a professional escort

3.She wouldn’t have been a full nude very suggestive photography model

4.She wouldn’t have plagiarized other First Lady speeches

5.She wouldn’t have dismissed her husband’s specific bragging about assaulting women as boy talk

6.She wouldn’t have destroyed our historic White House Rose Garden and removed the trees each dedicated to past First Ladies

7. She wouldn’t have said “F- - - “ Christmas

8. She wouldn’t have worn a coat with the words “I don’t care do you” 3 times to visit kidnapped children in cages

9. She wouldn’t have whined when she wasn’t on covers of magazines

10. She wouldn’t live with a man who pardons convicted drug criminals

11. AND MOST OF ALL SHE WOULDNT LIVE WITH A MAN WHO PROTECTS PEDOPHILES ALLOWING THEM TO ROAM FREE AND HARM YOUNG GIRLS

12. Melania is the epitome of a soulless greedy empty vessel not to be admired or respected

So yes

Jackie Kennedy

Eleanor Roosevelt

Michele Obama

Dr Jill Biden are much more worthy than Melania can ever achieve.

Unless she seeks asylum in another country and exposes all the crimes about which she has knowledge, she will never be considered respectful by anyone other than those who are just like her.

Empty soulless

Robert Johnson's avatar

Ms. Corner, nice puff piece for an admittedly fetching woman. But I was surprised you didn't don your Inspector Clouseau sleuth cap and pipe and delve a little deeper as to WHY Amazon would offer the Trump's such a whopping sum (purportedly $40m plus another $35m for promotion and distribution) for such a project.

Some posit it was merely a strategic effort on Amazon's part to curry favor with the Trump administration in order to mitigate risks of regulatory and/or antitrust scrutiny, citing the years of friction between Bezos and Trump that magically dissolved like a cloud of crack cocaine smoke following a Mar-a-Lago dinner meeting between the two titans just prior to the project being announced.

Oh, and who is the film's director? -- none other than disgraced, former A-Lister Brett Ratner who, because of multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, hasn't had a project see the light of the projector since 2018. Birds of a feather....

Anyway, my cynicism aside, I do wish "Melania" was playing locally as I would certainly go see it. And I do hope it earns them several Emmy nods, a peace prize or three, and bucket-loads of Melania meme coins, as I'm sure it will.

John Thomas's avatar

I wonder if the movie has subtitles? Or has Melania's butchery of the English language improved?

Louis Clifford Caldwell Jr.'s avatar

This movie was so aggressively written for the wealthy—and so punishing to everyone else—that Montblanc should’ve negotiated an exclusive promo: buy a ticket, get a free pen, just in case you need something elegant so you can gouged your eyes out with while reconsidering your life choices halfway through. Apple will probably jump in next with limited-edition noise-canceling AirPods, engineered specifically to block out dialogue, subtext, and the sound of your own soul quietly trying to leave your body.

—Louis

And all of this was written by dyslexic person and I’m clever and it’s free.

Stephanie:

“The Obama scandal isn’t working this time to protect Trump.”

Felix:

“Tell Melania the next time you see her at pole dancing class to just scream ‘BENGHAZI!’ It’s like the Republicans’ nuclear option.”

Stephanie:

“If they reach for Hillary’s emails again, they’ve officially jumped the shark.”

Felix:

“I would’ve told her myself, but I didn’t want to interrupt the class. She’s teaching it now.”

Stephanie:

“Honestly? I’m not mad. She’s giving me a career option for when this country fully collapses.

Nancy Reagan gave us ‘Just Say No.’ Barbara Bush gave us literacy.

Melania’s out here giving us free pole dancing certification with a focus on upper-body strength and regime change.

That’s the First Lady glow-up we didn’t know we needed.”
