I have noticed that in spite of the high cost of correcting the problems created by electrical transmission lines, the profits to the investors in these utilities never stop flowing. Somehow, the cost of fixing them and preventing fires is way too high for these utilities.How is it that they are still turning a profit?
The California Public Utilities Commission determines which, and how much, of those companies cost they must absorb and how much are passed on to consumers. Noticed your electric bill lately? If you have a problem with their decision contact the Democrats who you, and other taxpayers, are paying to run the Commission.
That’s because that’s what businesses do Chris. They turn a profit or they go out of business. Would you be happier if they were out of business? You wouldn’t be able to charge your Tesla or fry your eggs on your electric stove and then you would demand that the government do something about it. And we all know what happens when government takes over right?
