Thanks Katy, for composing the list. Sadly many of the items cited required the assistance of legislatures sent to Sacramento by towns like ours.

We get what we deserve when we vote for Democrat politicians who promise to fundamentally transform America. Each point in this article is a facet of this transformation. Each point in this article is supported by emotional arguments and by fantasy, not by experience, facts or results. Gender affirming care for five year olds is compassion. Higher taxes for the rich because they don't t pay their fair share. Open borders because it is compassionate. Elimination of fossil fuel because the very existence fo humanity depends upon it and Greta Thunberg says so. Never mind that it was hotter, colder, CO2 higher, CO2 lower before humans yet today fossil fuel drives everything. All nonsense but all emotionally charged issues. Right here on these pages I read self described conservatives excoriating Trump for personal reasons and stating that they will vote for Trump only because he is not Biden. Until we start to vote for politicians who seek to preserve our republic rather than fundamentally transform it, we will continue our transformation into a third world shithole. Until we return to voting for policy rather than personality we will continue our decline.

This was never about voting democrats out when Republicans decided to cover their mouths by demonstrating and going along with the election fraud the Democrats after Judicial Watch won their lawsuit over California for dirty voter rolls. The Democrats having double and triple voter registration numbers the Republicans blissfully in unison went along with it. While the RNC was withholding raised campaign money from President Trump. There is going to be no more money and its laundered through lobbying for special interest groups. "We the People" for Santa Barbara County have no need for the infighting and mob mentality within the two parties fighting over control.

Is this the same Judicial Watch whose founder Larry Klayman was suspended from the from legal practice in DC for 18 months due to a sexual harrasment suit?

TVW's avatar

Does that negate the writers point? Or is that just a diversion...albeit inaccurate??

This Lawsuit was filed and won by Tom Fenton

What limit would you put on taking from the "rich"...dollar or %?

Any thoughts on a flat tax? Clearly the US Tax Code...a construct of DC K Street lobbyists...both sides of the corrupt aisle...witness "earmarks".

Question: Do you support even $1 of taxpayers funds being given to illegal aliens or tax exemptions for any organization...i.e., 501C3, etc., that aid and abet the same?

Obviously you are fully entitled to your opinions...it just offers little clarity regarding "leftist/progressive". issue...thanks....

Gavin Newsom, offspring & active member of the 4 power families that have run California over the past 3 generations (families of Pat Brown, John Pelosi, William Newson, & John P. Getty)...

Gavin is in deep - now 1 of the high-ranking shot callers for the evildoers that wield power over the masses (aka the Elites, Cabal, Globalists, Old Guard, Black Hats, etc.)...obvious to most people that Gavin is compromised & active member of the US Pols (+++) that are working with the CCP to collapse Our Country...example: 45 of 50 US governors did not force COVID-19 infected patients into nursing homes, but five D Governors did, including Gavin...

Gavin, a psychopath, is a traitor to Our Country...

If any of the upcoming voters between the ages of 18-30 would take the 60 seconds needed to read this article maybe, just maybe, a small percentage would think twice about voting for this jackball and the " governing" party he's affiliated with!!!

Hasn't Newsom always been pro abortion? I'm not understanding which card he pulled out of his sleeve?

I don't see Newsom leaning on his base as any kind of 'dirty tricks'. He's always been pro-choice. He was being challenged with a recall. I Don't think he's be watching TV or clipping coupons. Even if the cutpons where for the French Laundry.....

_IF_ Gruesom Newsom was elected fairly it means the majority of CA voters want the results you outlined. I know most people are stupid, but could they be that dumb? Presumably not, so the problem must lie elsewhere.

The average voter is pissed off at the government but won’t take the time or put in the effort to determine which politician and their policies could make things better. Instead, they sorta listen to the news, kinda get an impression who promises the most goodies, goes to the voting booth and marks the [D]. They are then a kingmaker.

God Bless you, Katy it just reinforces why Article 4 Sections 3 and 4 of the US Constitution is the only way out of these deliberate usurpations, acts of treason, and insurrection on the US Constitution. The West Virginia Model was used when the state of Virginia on the other side of the Mountain Range joined the confederacy and The great People left behind followed the US Constitution and followed and joined the Union of States in 1861/1862. This History has repeated itself here and now when California's Constitution of 1849 was compacted with God and ratified by Congress including Section 1 Clause 18 to not let Slavery enter the state. In 1865 when 20 generals installed President Lincoln as President of the United States he abolished slavery by using the same language as the 13th Amendment to end slavery throughout the Nation in 1865. On March 12, 2024, I read Proclamation #14 entitled Slavery with all this constitutional history repeating itself today at the Board of Supervisors. Board Member Steve Lavagnino made a statement suggesting we place Election Security on the agenda as weeks and time passed it is now very clear that California has fallen to Slavery. NewCaliforniastate.com is the only way out of this. Our state was placed in this position to bring the whole nation down. Our state military has been federalized for such a time as this. Many people do not understand why President Trump left that in place so that our governor would not use the military against the people of California. The Military has jurisdiction over the US. Constitution. Only We the People can save our Nation and our State. NewCaliforniaState.com will be reading another Proclamation/Constitutional default on April 21st Live on the steps of the Capital in Sacramento, California will be broadcast live as posted on the website by Governor Pro Tempore Paul Preston on a21r.com. " Blessed is the Nation, Whose God, is Our Lord." PSALMS 33:12❤️❤️🕊🕊🇺🇲🇺🇲

I called into the Howard Jarvis "We the People" hour from 6 to 7 pm on Tuesdays on their Kabc live broadcast and told them that I'm Sherry Foster assemblyman for New California State in Santa Barbara County. California is in deep financial trouble with 1.7 triĺlion dollars we have been speaking about election security/Integrity at our local Board of Supervisors. Money has been tracked and traced back to the CCP in Monterey Park. 🇺🇲🇺🇲✨️✨️🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

And Gavin does all that with a Cheshire grin that captivates the blind. Mr. Newsom is incompetent and in way over his head. I'm afraid California may never recover from the damage he is responsible for along with the minions elected by "the People". Our wake up call is now.

I didn’t know about the house on the Sacramento River. He is unbelievable, and I have no idea except for the illegals, who would want him to govern California.

I hope the Californians especially the Democrats will wake up to this insanity get rid of him ASAP

You had me going for a while until you got up steam and started exaggerating and then just making up stuff. You are a waste of my time. I'm done.

Santa Barbara Current's avatar

It does seem outrageous, but each and every point is hot linked to an underlying source. Go ahead and click on a few. Many sources are from progressive papers like SacBee and LATimes themselves.

Howard Walther's avatar

Dear Allan, coming from a profession, family law, that is not just about exaggerations

but falisities at every turn I find your comments interesting. Family Court in California consumes more money and resources in the CA Court system which needs to be completely

reformed. Govenor Newsom has utterly failed to do so. I recommend the Documentary Divorce Corp. for your review on the needed changes. Additionally Governor Newsom and the Judicial Counsel are not going to have any choice in the matter because the CA Courts are being reformed whether they like it or not. This is just one area in the State of California that needs immediate change and reform. The other major area is retaining the Corporations that are moving out of CALI as quickly as their employees can rent a truck from Hertz or U-hual. CALI has a huge credibility problem and over 500 major companies have left CALI in the last 3 year alone. Read this lovely article on just San Fran Companies leaving.

Big Tech is fleeing rat invested CALI as quickly as they can as shown below>>>

I quess this is all one big-exaggeration. CALI is going going and gone..............

The only Constitutional Solution is the NewCaliforniaState.com which does have Constitutional Standing. We have followed the West Virginal Model back to statehood to a tee. We have read 190 grievances in 190 weeks, the 15th Constitutional default and a Proclamation will be read on the steps of the capital on April 21st, 2024. We have also held 12 Conventions, we have a Governor Pro Tempore, a judicial system, and a legislature. We filed 70,000 affidavits/declarations of truth. We have active committees in 52 counties. Follow a21r.com for a live broadcast in Sacramento, CA all the details are on the weblink I posted above for NewCaliforniaState.com

Mr. Waiter: Thank you for your response. I am very proud of my career as a family lawyer. I am retired now after 53 years as a member of the bar. Here in Santa Barbara, my colleagues are mindful of their ethical duties and are devoted to the principles of truthful advocacy. You sir don't know what you are talking about. I am fed up with ideologues whether on the left or on the right.

Howard Walther's avatar

Dear Allen, now lets be nice about our conversations. As you stated "my colleagues are mindful of their ethical duties and are devoted to the principles of truthful advocacy" Those that have read my previous posts on "The Currrent" know that I am making some very serious statements about on-going problems in California but more specifically here in Santa Barbara. Futhermore it is not my opinion. I refer you to the DOJ Civil Rigths Division >>>https://www.justice.gov/usao-cdca/criminal-division/public-corruption-and-civil-rights-section

While driving around our little ole beach town open your eyes because you can see the reform of Santa Barbara in real-time. This is why people are fleeing CALI and also Santa Barbara. For that reform, I refer you to former FBI Agent Linda Dozer's appointment to the Fire and Police Commission. https://www.independent.com/2023/01/27/santa-barbaras-reimagined-fire-police-commission-opens-with-first-meeting/

For your information, former FBI agent Dozer was a member of FBI Intelligence Branch and belays the very serious problems here in SB.

Well I am a puppeteer and I am great and awesome and my opinions are worthwile and good. I know a clown show when I see it.

Howard Walther's avatar

Hello Mr. Barton, well .... can you explain why the Santa Barbara Sheriffs Dept. would hire a DoD Admin Executive from DC, with extensive experience in military operations via contracts and his experience in critical military programs at the DoD? I am really curious about this.

https://www.independent.com/2024/01/11/sheriffs-office-announces-new-chief-administrative-officer/

"Warkentin brings with him over two decades of experience in a wide variety of positions with the U.S. Air Force, the Department of Homeland Security, the National Defense University and the Department of Defense. His most recent role as Chief of Staff in the DoD’s Performance Improvement Directorate showcased his ability to facilitate effective decision-making and project management, and to execute strategic initiatives with a broad impact."

Maybe we all have a very real problem in SB, just maybe........................

While we are all proud of our professions, education, fertility, wealth, vocabulary and baseball card collections, it adds nothing to your argument. The boastful tone is off-putting.

Allan S Morton. Please elaborate. Which points were exaggerated and which were made up? Without explanation your response reminds me of salt on a snail.

All one has to do is look at the pathetic transportation policies hammering the entire state. Frisco has died because of lousy street policies ... ignore social issues.

Santa Barbara has killed what was left of Old Town Santa Barbara just with the terrible and destructive transportation policies driven by Sacramento.

SB lost downtown aka Death Valley in less then 5 years.
