I am encouraging you to vote YES on the following propositions:
Prop 39, which will require voter ID to protect election integrity.
Props 41, 42, and 43, all of which have to do with limiting tax increases.
And Prop 45, which will streamline the permitting process for housing and infrastructure.
I am also voting Republican all the way down the ticket, including Steve Hilton for Governor, and I hope you will join me.
Why?
America was founded on the principles outlined in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, both of which were designed to limit the power of government in favor of protecting individual rights. Nonetheless, anyone can see that California’s government – not to mention the federal government – has gotten way too big, too powerful, and downright destructive of personal and economic rights.
It is why millions of residents and thousands of businesses have fled our state taking their tax dollars and jobs with them.
Despite the obvious crises, millions of conservative-minded people don’t vote because they don’t believe it will make a difference. Yet, if all such people would vote, we would surely win.
Practically speaking, we need to vote for the candidates and causes that will best preserve, rather than destroy, the foundations of America.
One destructive movement gaining a foothold in America is socialism. To embrace socialism is spiritual, economic, and cultural, suicide.
Socialism falsely promises to ensure equality of outcomes rather than equality of opportunity. It can only pursue equality of outcomes by limiting the ability of people to succeed and keep what they have earned. Socialism is based on the politics of envy, covetousness, confiscation, and even violence.
For example, did you hear that Robert Reich, former U.S. Labor Secretary, urged Democrats to nationalize Elon Musk’s Space Exploration Technologies Corp. SPCX and Starlink, arguing that the billionaire exercises excessive influence over American politics and national security?
Reich, however, of course, had nothing to say about billionaires George Soros and now his son, Alex Soros, Neville Roy Singham, Michael Bloomberg, or Tom Steyer.
The Money and the Agendas
Soros has spent well over $1 billion in direct contributions and open-society donations to leftist political causes, not to mention his efforts to place so-called Soros District Attorneys in major cities across America to undermine our criminal justice system.
According to The New York Times, Singham coordinates closely with the Chinese government and state media, and funds groups, news organizations, and politicians around the world that spread Chinese government propaganda. I will include a little more information about him, via the following quote, because most people have never heard of him.
According to the National Legal and Policy Center, one of Singham’s projects is “The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL). Formed in 2004 as a splinter group of the Workers World Party, the Party for Socialism and Liberation’s name reflects its mission of overthrowing capitalism and liberating its alleged victims. This Marxist-Leninist entity, like Communist parties everywhere, employs rigid, top-down organization to foster ideological unity. The PSL...organized the violent anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles in June, assisted by another Neville Singham-supported group, ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) Coalition.
“Aided by Singham’s financial largesse, the party by 2024 had grown to over 50 chapters. Current projects include defunding local police in favor of designated ‘violence interrupters’ (some of whom are active gang members), nationalization of the 100 largest U.S. corporations, a mandatory 30-hour work week, universal (i.e., government monopoly) health care, reparations for blacks, and an end to fossil fuel and nuclear energy sources.”
A more effective strategy for destroying our economy would be hard to imagine.
A more familiar figure – Bloomberg – spent $1 billion trying to buy the presidency for himself in 2020. Would that not constitute excessive influence?
Ditto for Tom Steyer, a billionaire former hedge-fund manager, who spent $216 million of his own money on his run for California governor and even more of his own money on his unsuccessful 2020 presidential run - about $342 million. That is over half-a-billion on himself in just two campaign cycles.
The left obviously, including socialists and communists, don’t hate billionaires per se, they just hate conservative-leaning billionaires.
I, myself, am voting for America and Western Civilization in this and all future election cycles.
I would hope you would vote in a similar fashion to give your children and grandchildren a chance to grow up in a free country, if it’s not too late already.

Very well said and comprehensive. I recall several decades ago that there were efforts at Stanford, and perhaps other universities, to stop teaching Western Civilization. Who was behind those efforts and where are they today? Berney
We've got far too much government at all levels…local, state, and federal. We don't need it and we can't afford it. Vote most of it DOWN.
