Thanks, Andy. Terrific column as always.

I don't think the young people in this country buy the Kamala image lies. The young people I've talked to in the last year are in general much smarter about what's really going on than the older generations - by older I mean those 40 and up. I don't know any young people who trust the media. I don't know any young people who even read the NYT or watch either CNN or Fox, unless they work for it. There are those, the graduates of elite journalism institutes and I know one, the son of a friend. But this is a tiny percentage of our population, soon to be replaced by AI.

That doesn't mean the young don't have their youthful stupidities. I do hear some young people blathering the kind of pretentious nihilistic pseudo-idealistic nonsense the young have always gone for. What difference does this election make, both sides are awful, as though they are the first to ever say this, not eternal cliches of youthful stupidity. But mostly I'm impressed by how much smarter they are in general than any other generation I've seen.

Very good, using the word chameleon. Speaking of chameleon, once when I was a kid the family returned from a circus in Boston where I purchased a chameleon. I put the chameleon in a cage and one day our cat Muffy managed to "cut" the chameleon in half with its teeth. That night for dinner my mother made green lime Jello inside a bundt pan and added carrot pieces and fruit, reminding me of chameleon guts. The word "chameleon" now reminds me of my chameleon chopped in half by my cat and a green lime Jello concoction and now Harris. I wonder if this is an omen for Harris ... she better stay away from sawmills. By the way, when is FOX going to talk about Harris's husband's background of violence towards women?

Lets talk truth, real talk, honesty. Granted politicians have to be econmomical with the truth and there is that troubling litttle fact about the Trump. He abhors the truth. Whether it is to secure a loan or pay his taxes. He is no better than KH, and from where I stand worse. For the conservative party to support aliar ia an awful comment on the body politic today.

Daniel, this is so tiresome, just vague media lies about Trump. I am so tired of people saying he abhors the truth. What about you, Daniel? Have you ever once tried to find out the truth of what you say about Trump? I did. I bought lies about him. But I worked in the NYC media world so I have an advantage over you. I know how they lie. And I investigated their accusations. They are lies.

Then I suspect you will continue to be tired as it's looking like you're the one with your head buried in the sand. Admit it, the above article could be written about Trump and it would barely require modification. Historically low approval ratings = check. Flip flops when convenient = check (went from campaigning against Obamacare to now claiming to be the savior of it...to name one of hundreds of examples). Word salad answers selling joy over policy -> replace "joy" with "fear" = check. Lying...I have looked into this, you're wrong. He lies a lot. More than most politicians I would argue. This article makes some valid points but pointing out that the other option is just as bad on these topics if not worse is not tiresome, it's reality.

Jon, Trump never bragged he was the most pro-union President in US history.

Why would a sitting President give such a boost to independent third party, non-governmental operations, who for the most part either depend 100% on taking our tax dollars for themselves, or needing massive amounts of our future tax dollars to bail out their current fiscal profligacy?

Barack Obama was also voted the same number 100 that Harris was, which was the most liberal senator, and he rarely voted beside the "non-vote" of "present." Joe Biden was number 98. a bit of humor is I wonder if ole 99 realizes he, or she, was passed over by Obama for 98.

Andy points to obvious concerns the public has about Harris. But what do we really know about our first DEI President?

We know she comes from a liberal, socialist background. Her parents, were socialist, Neo-Marxist, college professors at Cal Berkeley.

Hardly ever struggled financially, they seem to have lived in an upscale home.

We know she interchanges her race from Indian to AA depending on the social/political climate. So in that respect, she should be considered our first political hybrid! Come to think of it, It's almost like being able to change your gender on the fly!

We know she’s Uber liberal, she seemed to have “made her bones,” (no pun intended) “rising to power “ (again, no pun intended) by way of her relationship with a married, much older, Willie Brown, a known adulterer, fixer, flim-flam artist, who scammed his way to Assembly Speaker for the California Legislature.

We know by her sexual relationship with Brown, she climbed her way from bedroom to boardroom, Assistant District Attorney to DA, AG, Senator and here we are!

All Californians know by now, how ineffective she was as our Senator, replacing a tired and haggard Barbara Boxer.

She now is on the precipice of the highest office in the world. Truly amazing, we have a DEI President, chosen not for her skills or statesmanship (can I even say that), but for who she is racially.

No doubt a Harris Presidency would result in a first of its kind, rule by committee.

Yes, representatives from various “grievance groups,” ie rainbow people, climate activists, abortion warriors, BLM, Antifa, ALL will have a seat at the table and will be undoubtedly, major stakeholders for American policy.

Yes, foreign policy based on righting the wrongs of evil whitey. Economic policy based on taking from said whitey and redistribution to marginalized peoples. Health, education, energy policies all based on the same ideology. You get it.

So, for the rest of us I guess at this point it’s kinda like waiting for a CAT 5 hurricane (as my sister is now facing in Tampa), you hunker down, put your head between your legs, hold on and hope for the best!

Seriously Polly, it seems like you don’t know what DEI stands for either, in fact it seems like people on this site don’t know either, they just like to throw this acronym around to sound smart. I just threw out the question to see who would help me be informed. Well, not one person came to my aid, except you. Only you didn’t come to my aid. Like a true MAGA you just threw shade, like a true MAGA. I was surprised you didn’t know what DEI stood for since it seems you know everything, I mean, you have an opinion on everything so it’s like you know it all. Well for those who might not know, DEI stands for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion. For some reason MAGA’s think these are dirty words.

You gotta give Harris lots of credit - here she is, a completely failed, lying fool two steps away from becoming the president of the United States!

How? Because she recognizes most people are dreamers who don’t know their butt from six-bits, believe the crap their ‘leaders’ tell them, and somehow think fun things and butterflies are gonna magically happen if they vote for ‘joy’. Of course they're stupid! How do I know? They voted for Biden, and . . . Traitor Obama - _Twice_! What more proof do ya need?

Ahem…….clearing my throat again. Nearly 23 million government employees, their family members and friends will be just as happy to vote for Kamala Harris, as they were to cast votes for Joe Biden and Barack Obama. Do the math.

Like her current boss, Harris will also be the most pro-union President in US history. That automatically buys a lot of those 23 million government employee votes, along with their family members and friends. They have an immediate, direct and existential investment in Democrat election victories. That is a powerful election tool.

Big government and government employee union member engagement in our elections is now at a tipping point, by sheer numbers and influence.

Why are we still asking where her continued support comes from? Growing big government and extending its power and control is their primary, if unspoken goal, but the immediate effect after any Democrat election victory. We see this locally. We see this nationally. We have certainly seen this in California, with tragic impact.

Harris speaks the truth. Her values have not changed. She will say anything to get elected, just like a party member admitted to James O’Keefe OMG on a hidden camera - we tell big Democrat donors anything they want to hear just to get their donation.

When Willie Brown was asked about his former girl friend and then newly elected VP, he simply declared in 2020 Kamala Harris is out for Kamala Harris. That remains her consistent value.

The displaced are from rural and small cities, reportedly more conservative and unable to access ballots. In tight swing states this could adversely impact the outcome for moderates and conservatives. To think these two storms might blow Harris into the most powerful chair in our country. I read many trustworthy volunteers are needed, motorcycles and helicopters to reach these voters.

I read this article by Mr. Caldwell titled "Kamala Chameleon: America’s First Instagram Candidate"

that simply should be titled "The Lie" and I quote "That brings us straight to the second troubling aspect of Kamala’s campaign. What does it say about America that so many people are okay with the fact that she is lying about her positions to get elected?"

Today we allow Lies that occur now everywhere, by our Politicians, by our Congress members,

that has spilled down to our Police Officers, our Prosecutors even to our Justices.

There was a person that fought "The Lies" and never gave up and I quote from the weblink below>

https://www.wordonfire.org/articles/aleksandr-solzhenitsyn-a-witness-to-truth-in-darkness/

"The simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie.

One word of truth outweighs the world.”

—Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago, 1974

I find it very interesting that a Russian shows us the destruction of "The Lies" to his country, Russia.

I have another Russian that has showed me "The Lies" right here in Santa Barbara.

Welcome to the United States folks, where is our Solzhenitsyn here?

Sorry for the lateness in my reply. You say promises made, promises kept? Would you like to elaborate? What promises were kept? He promised to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. What a joke. Promise NOT kept. He promised to reverse RoevWade. Unfortunately, this is one he did keep. He was able to keep it by lying, cheating and backstabbing with the help of Mitch McConnell and the Republicans in office at the time.

First, they started with blocking Obama’s nomination for Supreme Court Justice, using all kinds of excuses why they couldn’t do it at that time, because it was too close to an election month. although no one said anything, when trump did the exact same thing when he nominated Barrett. trump was able to stack the court with three conservative nominees. All three of the nominees, during their interviews, said their personal feelings and views would not play into or influence judgment on Roe. Well we can see how truthful they were. So the government can now control women’s health issues. So, chew on that

You state that I was spewing bile, so I went back and checked my comment. I do not see a drop of bile anywhere. Although a majority of your contributors and readers are truly filled with bile. This isn’t about being mentioned alongside someone who mocks and evades. It’s about defending moral truth and being willing to engage with different perspectives instead of hiding behind veiled insults. If Polly or yourself truly believed in your ideals, you’d be willing to confront them openly, without mockery. You cannot as they are modernist, and it's something that undermines your declared identity as a conservative. Similarly Polly despite hating what she percieves as excesses of liberalism still idolizes the same pragmatism and moral relativism thay brought us here, and she even gladly embraces certain degenerate and morally corrupt innovations as it relates to sexual morality.

I invite you as conservative to provide your insight on why supporting the lesser of evil in such a system works, especially knowing that conservatism has failed to conserve traditional values. What does it matter if we save our finances and have a secure border if our society embraces a culture of death, and why shoulen't we want an end to an immoral society? The Kingdom of Israel fell for rejecting God and sinning against him, America's rejection of God, embrace of sin, and rejection of goodness itself merits similar consequences.
