OK...I'll bite. The disconnect for me was the lead of "Kristi's Demise". ?? I think overall she's doing a good job in pretty hostile circumstances. The meme didn't connect the dots and the author didn't either. That's what struck/stuck with me.

With which I'd be perfectly comfortable.. However as I read it, it seems like ICE was out arresting every day run-of-the-mill illegal aliens instead of pursuing the ones with criminal charges. As has been discussed on Santa Barbara Current, ICE encounters your average illegal alien while in the process of chasing down the big boys...often in street confrontations. Hopefully you are not suggesting that since they don't have a warrant or a deportation order for that particular individual they just shine it on??
Also...I believe you are confused about deportations. Trump indicated the bad guys were job #1...but that all illegals were subject to enforcing existing law..."...this is how it should have been" to borrow a phrase.
