What is interesting is the comparison with the late now not so great State of Calif.

Is the Empire now corroding from within, and the dissolution being fueled by open borders and the criminal element? Doesn't that sound a whole lot like the previous national administration and the failure called Newsom and the State of California?

Readin Mr. Eringer's missive to the bottom it sure sounds like it to me.

Application of immigration laws, enforcement of laws is what this current Trump Administration is doing. Is this coming from #10 Downing Street?

Whole vehicles and smash and grab is the norm in Empire?

Calif. comparison. Newsom anger against rational borders, calls to keep illegals and non-citizens from voting, and stop criminals sounds a lot like England today.

This from Mr. Eringer .... "“The Most Dangerous Russian Spy Was a CIA Agent” (Greek Reporter)

The one party system in Sacramento where Newsom is throwing the Highway Patrol at crime and social order (must be a 16 wheeler problem). The failed insiders of Sacramento are making Trump right with application of law and order (why else the Highway Patrol?)

The comparisons with those across the pond were and are too great not to make the point.

Thanks for the read.

Good call Scott. We better flush the Commie-Dems outta Sacramento before we lose the whole gig, and I know who can do it - that hard-headed conservative Steve Hilton.

Robert, disappointing, but not surprising, to read about impressions of London where the news for months, perhaps years, has indicated the same issues were spreading. Opening their border put in motion the saying that the "enemy within" is a difficult adversary.

UK's experience was complicated by their long history as a global British Empire, putting many of their recent arrivals under their full jurisdiction in times past.

Who else had a pull-down map in their classrooms with a scattering of pink-colored countries all around the globe, with the teacher telling us The Sun Never Sets on The British Empire - and we were content this was a good thing. And in a lot of ways it was.

Travel to any of them today and realize how many British traditions they retain and how much of the British Empire installed infrastructure remains critical to their economic wherewithal. (Paved roads, railroads, sanitation systems, court systems, education systems, health care systems, common language, civil bureaucracies and traditions of democratic rule, while still holding inviolate Tea at Three. - Long live Britannia)

Agreed as their record of success includes the U.S., Canada, Australia, Bermuda, Singapore, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. They tried to establish the same systems in South Africa and India but the ratio of English to natives limited their ability to fully establish English systems and is now negatively impacting the English systems in the U.K.

Good read: Niall Ferguson's "Empire". He makes no apologies for Empire days - 75 years now in the rear view mirror. Instead he highlights what in fact the Empire created and left behind. Listing what still resonates in positive ways today, and have been absorbed by those now independent nations. Certainly installing English as the common language for global transportation and many primary communications is welcomed/appreciated by those of us non-polyglot global travelers.

Well done. 'Tis been 34 years since last in London. Celebrated the Battle of Britain with RAF friends of my Dad. For me the best 'dry' Martini was served at the Montcalm bar by Charlie. Four ounces of Boodles with a half ounce of Noilly Prat with olives on the side. Ice cold.

If anything, Eringer's dispatch from England provides a welcomed distraction from these Trump facts:

▪️First President in history to serve a full term increase the deficit every year he was in office.

▪️First President in history to maintain a debt to GDP ratio over 100% for his entire term.

▪️Highest annual budget deficit.

▪️Most added to the national debt in a single term.

▪️Most new unemployment claims.

▪️Largest single day point drop in the history of the Dow.

▪️First major party candidate in half a century to lose the popular vote twice.

▪️Longest government shutdown in history (and he did that while his own party controlled both chambers of Congress).

Oh, and he didn't end the wars in Gaza and Ukraine on "day one" as promised, and -- according to those libtards at the Wall Street Journal -- reportedly has raked in $6 billion from his blatant conflict-of-interest crytocurrency endeavors, begging the question: How much longer are you MAGA-philes going to blindly follow this grifter?

Another drive by hit by the lefty loonies…always repeating the narratives taught to those that are still stuck in the matrix…

Bet you a lemonade that you too will recognize who Trump is and thank him… say by Independence Day 2026…first you will be aghast by the level of evil in the plays against Trump by the Cabal, then respect him for his tenacity & grit to fend off the plays as he works to free the masses from the mind warp, then learn to love him like a father, with great respect for what he accomplished…

PS…we’re still in the drip, drip, drip stage of the secrets reveal phase of operations…What would happen if texts originating from a FBI agent to several [internals] discussed the ASSASSINATION (possibility) of the POTUS or member of his family? What if the texts suggest foreign allies were involved? Nothing is ever truly deleted & Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming (NCSWIC)…

Good news is that the [D] Party will cease to exist once the normies (normal people) find out that their “leaders” are Luciferians by nature…

One party discusses God.

One party discusses Darkness.

One party promotes God.

One party eliminates God.

Symbolism will be their downfall.

The Great Deceiver(s).

When was the last time you witnessed a [D] party leader being Patriotic [exhibiting National Pride (love of Country)]?

When was the last time you witnessed a [D] party leader 'speak out against' the riots [violence in the streets]?

When was the last time you witnessed a [D] party leader support those who took an oath to protect and defend?

When was the last time you witnessed a [D] party leader support and call for UNITY across our Nation?

Early on in the 2016 race, it became obvious to me what the Trump appeal was and which still remains his biggest appeal. One needed to turn the sound off, and just watch his body language. It was his swagger and command of any situation: "I am gonna kick butt". And so he did.

After 8 years of Obama squish and the world running rough shod over America, Trump's body language was exactly the medicine this country was hungry for. He came, he saw and he conquered.

Sending both Biden and Harris into this arena for their four perfectly awful years only proved how badly we wanted that kick-butt swagger back. No, Gavin Newsom does not even come close with his cheap, pretty boy imitation of the Real Deal. Trump in fact was the Right Stuff, even when he sounded like the wrong stuff.

RJ: Trump is a feisty SOB. Who ever painted him as a "selfless, altruistic guy"? No wonder you can't defeat him. You are clueless about the stakes ,and the man. Your list of character witnesses only proves you keep very bad company. Happy to shed all those two-bit synchophants, many of whom heard those infamous Trump words .... "you're fired".

Trump, the feisty SOB Trump was what America both wanted and needed after 16 years of deep state treachery and Obama Bros incompetency. Try and process what I just said. That is what America meant, when the polls revealed the vast majority thought America had lost its way before the 2024 election. .

You tested him sorely, no question about that. But it only tempered the steel and we got to see the man under fire from all sides. That is what America saw, he was up to the challenge.

In the process, you also exposed deep holes in our judicial system too. Not unlike "covid" exposed all the holes in our health care system as well. We owe you our gratitude. You exposed some moth-eaten dark corners of our national institutions for all to see. Weaponized and partisan courts and health care systems are not part of the package we assumed was part of our govenrnance contract with each other, but we learned sadly and directly both need serious work.

Thank you for creating this on the job training exercise for the man to show his real stuff. Blunt, in your face but always honest in the most important way - no filters, even when we cringed too. Both your candidates badly faded in the pinch, as well from the starting gate. That is what America also saw. You had a huge mess on your hands, and you doubled-down on your own dysfunction that caused the problems in the first place.

Now go dig into your Democrat farm club and see what else you can drag out to carry your colors. That Tim Walz guy looks like he has great potential as a standard bearer for your party. A proven leader and all his dirty laundry already got flushed out of the closet in the first round.

Personality, party, platform .... there must be someone who can do your heavy lifting. Bueller ....Beuller ..... Beuller ......???

RJ: And Trump still won. Assume this rankles you no end.

The national2024 verdict was clearly against Democrat-driven lawfare that created this Trump laundry list of sins against humanity. Additionally, 90% of all US counties rejected all that time, money and investment Democrats put into their failed exercise in futility. But nice to see you are still trying to hoist your own petard, reminding us of this abject Democrat marketing failure.

Carry on. But at some point, you might consider you are on a fool's errand. Just maybe.

And Trump has really great kids. The true test of family values. None on coke selling state secrets for cash or knocking up teen prostitutes on camera.

Or in desperate need of 10 year preemptive pardons. For crimes committed and for crimes we did not even know were committed. Though this does not let Dr Jill off the hook for her future fashion crimes committed against couches, drapes and table cloths.

PS: wow, getting double tag-teamed by both RJ and PD. Thanks for reminding us of the entire Democrat platform and agenda: OrangemanBad and you are a bad person for supporting him.

Real message, Democrats are getting very nervous their super-majority takeover of this state is finally in serious jeopardy. They are a wholly bankrupt political party and leaking supporters badly.

However, assume you loved Princess Laura's vacuous message at the Democrat Labor Day BBQ claiming only Democrats are the fount of truth, beauty, justice and the American way. Delusion, thy name is Democrat today.

What I find truly sobering about Great Britain is that the thought police are in control. You can be arrested for praying silently anywhere in the neighborhood of an abortion clinic. Suggesting that the country is overrun by immigrants which are destroying the culture will also get you arrested. We cannot sit idly by and let America become repetition of what is sadly happening in Great Britain and the rest of Europe.
