I once had my constitutional rights at public comment during a county supervisors meeting violated by Bob Nelson. He muted me during my public comment on a zoom call. I criticized the actions of a religious leader he had been praising who had been using his and his church's reputation to trade something like $25 gift cards in exchange for kids parents to submit their kids to untested mRNA injections that were not proven to be safe, effective, or even necessary for children (if anyone.) Nelson claimed my criticism of his pastor friend's participation in evil was a personal attack and that personal attacks are outside of my rights during public comment. If he was supposed to be the freedom loving conservative wing of our local political officials, God help us.

Bob Nelson, if you read this comment, when it came time to protect our children from a dishonest top down dangerous global agenda, I will never forget that you failed to stand for truth, our children, and our basic freedom of speech rights.

To everyone else reading this, there must be accountability for everyone who helped perpetrate the COVID tyranny on our community, state and country otherwise those who orchestrated it will think they can do it to us again and again and they will be correct.

We must dismantle the FBI and the CIA, change the tax structure, and cut 100,000 people out of the IRS. We must also move many Government offices out of Washington, D.C., and close the UN. That would be a good start. Let's get it done.

Mr. L, in Russia, you have to do what you’re told, there’s no freedom of speech, and if you do speak out there’s always the fear of being imprisoned or die, accidentally of course. trump has declared revenge and retribution to his rivals so he basically plans to weaponize the justice system to go after them all, no matter how great or small. The Washington post owner, Jeff Bezos, and the LA Times owner Patrick Soon-Shiong have put their employees on notice. No unflattering pieces on trump and his cronies so real journalist have quit or been censored or fired due to pieces they wrote. And the biggest perk of all you get to live under a dictator. You’re welcome

Always good to be reminded of where you are coming from, Julia. Looks like Russia-Russia-Russia remains in the upcoming Democrat play book. Have you ever visited Russia, or even the old Soviet Union? I have been traveling there since the 1970's. Multiple times over the past 50 years - to watch its transition over that same period of time. I suspect today there are more parallels within our own weaponized US judicial system today with Russia-Russia-Russia than you care to admit.

2025 predictions? I have a few. I predict the liberal, Democratic machine will continue to drive our county/cities into the ground. Yes, public sector unions, DEI theology, illegal immigration, green ideology and failing schools are just a few of the ways our elected officials have to continue their version of a successful, just society. But no, local voters here in SB will continue with the diatribe; “orange man bad,” liberal, unsustainable, fiscally irresponsible policies “good.”

I’d like to know who and when is going to sound the alarm that we as a County are heading off a financial cliff? How about the eggheads over at the UCSB Economics Department publish their findings that we are heading for insolvency unless drastic changes are made! With nearly 5,000 County employees on the payroll, the alarms should be going off! This, while at the same time the lefty’s that run our government are at war with fossil fuels and it’s production, thereby reducing the royalties we receive and secondly, further transformation of private Ag land into Land Trusts resulting in thousands of acres being removed from the tax base. What could possibly go wrong? Don’t worry, the mere fact Das Williams is leaving the public world for a cushy, 6 figure salary at UCSB, because there are dozens of left wing nut jobs remaining in our local County government to keep the failing policies alive and well!

That’s right folks, Santa Barbara County could turn into San Barnardino County very quickly!

Unless one wants to be harangued by "climate change" in every other paragraph, celebration of abortion and open borders, pesticides in pot, and their always reliable 24/7TDS and defiance of the Bad Orangeman. You got my blood boiling, Andy <g>. Only someone dumber than a dumb Dem, such as Das Williams, would somehow manage to have his own Wikipedia page. Now let's compare the Das Williams Wikipedia to someone, if anyone, who should have a Wikipedia page and doesn't. Namely I am speaking of Virgil Elings (Elings Park, for instance) that took an expired IBM patent and developed the first producible atomic force microscope (AFM). There is no Wikipedia page for Virgil, the PhD professor from UCSB, producing a multi-billion-dollar industry that involves examining many fields of science, including life-saving biological research. In SB there are many, many spinoff companies from Virgil's original company named Digital Instruments. What really pisses me off Andy is the fact that (1) a brainless twit such as Das Williams has a Wikipedia page and (2) Virgil Elings, the first to develop a producible AFM instrument, has no mention in Wikipedia except for his donation to create Elings Park. What a f**ked up world we live in!

Another legendary local Democrat politician also had her own WIKI entry, which was instantly updated apparently by herself as her partisan accolades accrued. However , today it is much more truncated version of the original page, plus the very trimmed down entry comes now with the following warning from WIKI itself:

Hello Bill, the Gimble for the AFM was designed at UCSB however they came to Channel Industries to solve the vibration problems using Channel's Ceramics and our Know-How at Channel's subsidiary International Transducer Corp where I and four other Engineers worked. The lead engineer on that Project was Bill Bunker and another Engineer Daryl (Forgot last name) who worked with Barney Drake at USCB. weblinks below>>

Bill Bunker was my Boss at ITC and mentor. Alot of funny stories and good times with Bill and the gang at ITC! What Way Back Machine, Goleta 1980s.

The so-called "Gimble" you talk about is just an itsy-bitsy part of the entire AFM system. There are a multitude of "Heads" for the system, in order to perform many different experiments for biology, physics, semiconductors, etc. And then the software involved, etc. etc. etc. Geez, you make it sound like ITC designed the entire system. My wife worked as the HR person at ITC. Your ITC engineers were underpaid in comparison to Raytheon ESD.

The person that productized the AFM was Virgil Elings, without him there would be no AFM. His wealth proves the point. How much money did ITC gain from the SUPPORT of the AFM?

Bill I, was not the Engineer on the AFM Contract, it was Bill Bunker and Daryl so I do not know the cost. As Engineers we did not make much during this time. I do not know what AFM unit you are referring but I personally knew Barney Drake and stayed at this home up at Tahoe Donner Subdivision on Ski Slope Way where he had his little lab tweaking the Gimble (Base Plate). At that time, the prototype was quite large and Bulky. We walked out Barney's front door and went X-Skiing at Tahoe Donner every day back in the last 1980s.

Correction Barney lives on Ski Slope Way.

The first productized AFM means the first AFM that went into production ... not a small task. I worked a few years at Digital Instruments and later VEECO and know the history very well ... this is where all the AFM spinoff companies originated from. Bill Bunker and I are about the same age. I know Bill and he knows me because of my wife working as his HR employee for a few years. There came a time when my wife said I made as much as her boss, the ITC President (Bill Bunker). And I was working at Raytheon as a Senior Product Design and Development Engineer. I'll admit, I started at Raytheon with a high salary because of my proven capabilities and high pay at other companies. And I know Bill Bunker was a smart piezo designer. But the higher paying jobs came out of the Fortune 500 companies.

Digital Instruments was located very close to the Old ITC building in Goleta before we moved over to Ward Dr. I worked at ITC from 1985-1989 but I did not interact with HR but did with Marketing - Chris Bashworth? Hard to remember names.

Wow! $200k, huh? I worked my tail off for CHS for 17 years, making less than $100k after taxes. And because of my neurodiversity, I was treated horribly most of the time by the administration.

I suppose saving lives and caring for others is not as crucial as being given a job where you can openly discriminate by labeling and grouping people.

FYI: our lovely community healthcare system fired me directly because of my communication challenges stemming from my neurodiversity, which the ADA recognizes as a disability. SBCH, a Neuroscience Institute, couldn't be bothered to work with me, a neurodivergent nurse, because I am very literal and direct. I suppose CHS wishes us to kiss their proverbial ring before placing our patients first 😉.

I read this very interesting article by Mr. Caldwell titled "My Psychic Predictions for 2025

by Andy Caldwell" and I quote same of the omniscient SB So-Called Leaders ....

"Due to his [DAS] super-ego-fueled tendency to give a lecture at any given moment, demonstrating everything he knows about every single subject known to man, he will get a job as a lecturer at the Bren School of Environmental Science"

A new and even more interesting title is "Psychic Revelations to the SB So-Called Leaders"

and I provide an even more interesting weblink below from former Navy Seal Sean Ryan's interview of Joe McMoneagle, six-hour podcast on the "Stargate Program"> Look at 4:00:00.

So what Shenanigans are the SB Unelected Foolish Officials (UFO's) been up to for at least the last ten years? I again quote former FBI Executive Tom Parker "Perceptions of Political Corruption

Too Often the Harbingers of Stark Reality"

https://www.independent.com/2020/02/22/perceptions-of-political-corruption/

Ecclesiastes 3:15-17 > "Whatever has already been and what will has been before: and God will call the past to account." To be clear all is known.

Still trying to figure out the self-admitted tabloid fabulist part of your dead-on predictions, Andy. Good litany, all of which sound very close to the bone, from someone who has been inside the belly of the beast as long as you have.

2025 New Years Resolutions:

1. Never let our guard down when elected officials demand even more government.

2. Ask how, when they respond ........ oh, they'll find the money to pay for more government.

3. Put all elected officials on public record by name after they vote expand government, which casts even more public debt on to future generations.

Everyone knows it will be a very disruptive next few years as the entrenched Democrat Deep State sabotages this necessary transition six ways to Sunday. We all do need to hang on tight, because we are going to power through this or else we lose America.

Agree, they have been infiltrating our schools, institutions, local governments etc for decades, it will take time to turn that around and restore a normal balance. We need to hold together like the Dems do and act as a solid unified block with no infighting. Our biggest challenge is not Democrats or the Deep State, but RINO's who will block everything they can. We may need a new RINO free third party one day that acts in unison as the Democrats do. Our biggest flaw.
