If for no other reason the 2020 election was invalid due to the unconstitutional change in election laws in swing states. The constitution clearly states that election law can only be changed by state legislature, not by courts, judges or governors and not with the exception for fabricated pandemics. The laws were changed in ways which would facilitate cheating such as greater mail in voting and relaxation of signature verification. If you recount the same bogus ballots and get the same count proves nothing. What about election inteference by collusion between American intelligence agencies and social media to bury and discredit the laptop story? Have you read Tiabi's Twitter files? There are many valid reasons to question the 2020 election but you like the outcome so you question nothing. You believe what you want and choose what is fact. It is simply not true that early voting, or increased opportunities for mail-in voting (now supported by Trump, who himself voted that way in 2020) resulted in any genuine issue of fraud. Courts refuse cases for lack of merit. Even Trump appointed judges courts. Many of the cases failed for lack of evidence of wrongdoing. I doubt any of the Trump cases, in which he claimed he had the election (in that state) “stolen” from him, would have failed for lack of standing. I recall hearing reports of cases in which Giuliani was asked if he had evidence to support his assertions, and he started hemming and hawing.
At the initial stages of litigation, a complainant is given the benefit of the doubt, in the sense that the complaint’s factual allegations are initially accepted as true. Yet many of the cases were tossed at that early stage. On the other hand, if a complaining party wants the court to order relief (e.g., impounding ballots, reversal of results, recount, etc.), then the complaining party has to provide evidence. Trump’s lawyers had a lot of hot air, and very little else.
Why did the supreme court fail to hear Texas and other states claim to disenfranchisement due to the unconstitutional change of election law? Standing.
As you probably know, there were over 60 Trump challenges to the election, and Trump lost ALL of them. Not all were rejected on standing grounds. I’ll ask again: can you cite a single case in which any court anywhere found there was interference that warranted a change in the outcome?

Was it because reputable lawyers didn’t want to work for him? In any event, the burden is on the party trying to deny the franchise to the majority, and Trump utterly failed, even before judges he appointed. And much of what the Trump lawyers labeled “dodgy” was a figment of their own paranoia. I do fear that the Trump fiction machine will be more amply equipped and fueled, and we will face another burgeoning insurrection when Trump loses yet again.

Other Oath Keepers members like Jessica Watkins, Kenneth Harrelson, and Roberto Minuta received sentences ranging from 3 to 8.5 years for their roles in the conspiracy .

If for no other reason the 2020 election was invalid due to the unconstitutional change in election laws in swing states. The constitution clearly states that election law can only be changed by state legislature, not by courts, judges or governors and not with the exception for fabricated pandemics. The laws were changed in ways which would facilitate cheating such as greater mail in voting and relaxation of signature verification. If you recount the same bogus ballots and get the same count proves nothing. What about election inteference by collusion between American intelligence agencies and social media to bury and discredit the laptop story? Have you read Tiabi's Twitter files? There are many valid reasons to question the 2020 election but you like the outcome so you question nothing. You believe what you want and choose what is fact. The argument that election rule changes were unconstitutional and/or unauthorized was repeatedly rejected by the courts, and has been thoroughly debunked. It is simply not true that early voting, or increased opportunities for mail-in voting (now supported by Trump, who himself voted that way in 2020) resulted in any genuine issue of fraud. It is, however, consistent with the pattern of Republican efforts to make voting more difficult, at least in places and among demographics that don’t favor them.

Courts refuse cases for lack of merit. Even Trump appointed judges courts. Your long tired conspiracy theories have been debunked years ago now with hard concrete facts that are readily available and proven as truth. Many of the cases failed for lack of evidence of wrongdoing. I doubt any of the Trump cases, in which he claimed he had the election (in that state) “stolen” from him, would have failed for lack of standing. I recall hearing reports of cases in which Giuliani was asked if he had evidence to support his assertions, and he started hemming and hawing.
At the initial stages of litigation, a complainant is given the benefit of the doubt, in the sense that the complaint’s factual allegations are initially accepted as true. Yet many of the cases were tossed at that early stage. On the other hand, if a complaining party wants the court to order relief (e.g., impounding ballots, reversal of results, recount, etc.), then the complaining party has to provide evidence. Trump’s lawyers had a lot of hot air, and very little else.
Why did the supreme court fail to hear Texas and other states claim to disenfranchisement due to the unconstitutional change of election law? Standing.

What this amounts to is a iot of whining and zero basis for overturning the election. Trump was saying it was rigged long before voting started. Why didn’t he button up the lawyers? Was it because reputable lawyers didn’t want to work for him? In any event, the burden is on the party trying to deny the franchise to the majority, and Trump utterly failed, even before judges he appointed. And much of what the Trump lawyers labeled “dodgy” was a figment of their own paranoia. I do fear that the Trump fiction machine will be more amply equipped and fueled, and we will face another burgeoning insurrection when Trump loses yet again.

Yes, I’m aware of various Republican voter suppression initiatives, and they may work, sadly. But my best prediction is that we are heading for a reprise of 2020, with Trump losing yet again, getting crushed in the popular vote, losing the Electoral College, and yet again claiming that the election was rigged and stolen. This time Trump won’t be able to menace the sitting Veep, or the AG, though I’m sure he’s got some lawyers willing to gin up some new or revised bogus legal theories that escaped them in 2020-2021, and probably will be able to incite another riot.
