This has gone on long enough. The spend 100 million of taxpayer money
to generate a dream that effects all the owners of State St, Property, , without regard for their history and their taxpayer input is a ludicrous insult. 6 years of experimentation is enough. Open our main street to its previous roll
Open state street to vehicles that is what the people and tax payers want do it asap the city council has ruined or city with their ridiculous policies that have no real merit 🙏❤️
I think your comment on Ms. McAdoo having been here only a few years was worth noting. It's likely she only knows Santa Barbara from Covid and has no experience with the history of the Street. She can't appreciate how vibrant and alive the street was having never seen it as its best. It would be nice to return the street to its better days while waiting for a master Plan that, because of cost if no other reason, may never get done.

They are bringing business and property owners to their knees
I am as unlikely to go to the walking/bike hazard zone on lower State St as I am to suffer driving through old town Goleta
“City Planning” is a demonstration of turning the asylum over to the inmates in both cases
