Great read! what a wonderful thought of these folks taking the helm in America! Sigh, God be with Trump and keep him safe from the 'plan' (you know the left has one)

Thank you, Jim! I am so in love with Trump's team. As you said - these are the rare politicians with integrity. They are also the rare politicians who own up to being imperfect and in so doing make mince meat of the Democrats' attempted smear campaigns to ruin them on moral grounds.

To focus on RFK Jr: yesterday I watched him being interviewed and every time the newscaster brought up the sexting scandal he asked why she wasn't interested in Ukraine, or the Covid fiasco or children in poverty. He showed her to be completely uninterested in anything of any substance. And he's shown MSM as a whole to be devoid of the moral compass they say he lacks. And I thought - this guy is going to be great when Trump gets elected. He will stand up for Trump and he'll stand up to him.

A commenter went ballistic on me here because I said the whole RFK Jr sexting thing with the journalist is ludicrously unimportant because first, it has nothing to do with his political and legal achievements and second, the number of women who throw themselves at him on a daily basis is unreal. People do not understand what it's like to be a powerful, famous man. Women target them. Add to that being a sexy Kennedy and you have women throwing themselves at RFK Jr all the time. I know to many men this hardly seems like a problem … but it is something to contend with. There's a reason that Seinfeld episode in the 90s was so popular, the one where the four friends challenge each other to not masturbate. And then John John Kennedy shows up in Elaine's gym…. It has become a sign to me if I think of becoming friends with a woman if she bursts out laughing at the mention of that Seinfeld. I know she's not a brainwashed feminist.

I don't care about politician's sex lives or marriages - unless they are making money with underage sex trafficking, causing us to go to war or throwing an intern under the bus after she gives them a blowjob.

I care deeply about what RFK Jr has already fought for. And I look forward to what he'll do with Trump. The fact that CDC head 2018-2021, Robert Redfield told him “you got everything right” says to me that he can win for America.

wouldn’t it have been grand if RFK Junior accepted Trump‘s invitation to be considered for Vice President? Unbeatable ticket. BUT, we are heading into Red October, where The World will learn more truths… https://x.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1154112475002036234?s=61

A Democrat is sitting at a bar and a guy sits down and says ‘Hey buddy - how about a BJ.’ The Dem picks him up and throws him out in the street. The bartender asks - ‘What the the hell did that guy say to you? . . . and the Democrat says - “I’m not sure, but it was something about a job!”

Earl, it was a woman! I made this joke about how I love my husband but I find RFK Jr sexy - it's that combo of his six pack and his ideals. And she said I was exposing my sex life here and bringing down the conversation etc etc. Meanwhile my husband roared over my remark and said “Sweetie, it's good to know you're not dead yet.”

A good and much wanted positive article on the people that have put their faith and trust in the Trump campaign. There will always be disgruntled business associates that will malign Trump for one reason or another and/or media outlets promoting the alleged evil deeds of his private life but I am looking at the positive things that were done while he was in office and how much better off we were as a country than under the present administration. We are so caught up in "personality" that, we, a good portion of the time , overlook what the real issues for the survival of this country are. Thank you, Jim, for the good reading.

There are numerous groups already in place to act instantly when irregularities are observed. They need our support as much as Trump Vance. True the Vote is just one of them.

We all owe getting to know our own county election office procedures backwards and forwards to also be on the front lines. It is a very leaky process and needs constant vigilance.

Volunteer when the call for poll workers and election observers goes out in our own county. You will not regret the learning experience.

No, I was saying that we just need to think past this election. Because Trump clearly is. The thing I love about Trump is he learns. This time he's assembled a real team. It's no longer just Trump against the Deep State. It's a team of people who are going to go on from this and kick butt against the Dems for years to come no matter what crap the Dems pull in the election. Having a team this hot is going to influence young people to work for them. You know, one thing that really annoys me that people say about Trump is he's only in it for his own glory. That's is so wrong. He knows he can't keep going like this and I believe he's purposely assembled a team that is going to have a future. Not many leaders can put aside their own egos to do that. They instead pick lesser people with no future so they can say apres moi le deluge.

Thank you Mr. Buckley for an informative discussion related to the former President’s allies. Clearly, many of us have lost friends over our support for Mr. Trump. I remember having friends over for brunch during the 016’ campaign. Things were going well until my wife and I mentioned our support for Mr. Trump. The mood immediately changed, our former friends became visibly upset and the brunch abruptly ended. Awkward and embarrassing to say the least.

Of Trumps friends mentioned, I find Musk as the most intriguing. Little was mentioned about Musk’s life in S. Africa in the article. S. Africa, was a thriving economy and high standard of living when compared to other countries in the region. Yes, Apartheid was a terrible, evil and unjust system of oppressive government. I’m certainly not arguing otherwise. Not withstanding the courage of Nelson Mandela, what the ANC replaced Apartheid with is equally oppressive and authoritarian. S. Africa’s economy is now a basket case and energy policy is dismal, often resulting in massive blackouts. Land reform policies have resulted in taking land from whites and have often led to murderous rampages and killing of white farmers. All this is especially troubling given the rich resources S. Africa has in diamonds and gold reserves. De Beers leads the world in diamond mining and production.

There are some parallels we have in our country with S.Africa. Aside from the unjust, terrible racist laws, we also have enormous resources, but are risking going down the same road by electing Kamala Harris. This, by alienating farmers, unsustainable energy policies, alarming racial resentments and blatant incompetence.

Cry, the beloved country. You summed up its history well. I too have tracked this country since my own in-depth visit in the 1970’s. A country of far more contradictions and complexities than seen by most only from the surface. I often refer back to the poem Invictus that guided Mandela during his own trials. He too would weep deeply for his beloved country today.

I always felt that the worst thing Trump did as president was choose people around him who undermined and sabotaged his best efforts, and then they betrayed him. But as he pointed out in the "debate" : he fired them. This time he has a much better team, one that will work to the common purpose of saving our country. And a lot more of the treasonous Permanent Washington Deep State needs to be fired.

J. Livingston: Absolutely right. Word was out in DC from all the Democrats and most of the Republicans aligned with the deep state that if anyone would so much as have a meeting with Trump about a job, they'd "never work in this town again." Trump's choices were extremely limited, as was his knowledge of how things work in the nation's capital. This second term, he'll have the pick of the litter. Let's hope his advisers choose wisely.

My read on your 4 choices:

1. Donald Trump - except for Geo. Washington, the best, most honest, most can-do president of them all. Sure hope he makes it in November.

2. Elon Musk - smartest kid on the block, a true entrepreneur and down-home kinda guy. Would love to have a beer with him.
