Why has Rob Bonta amassed a legal war chest of $500k? Oh that’s right, him and his wife Mia, are up to their necks in grift and corruption. Prime example of the cesspool Sacramento has become.
Thank you, Mr. Zepke. Head fakes have worked very well for the California left for decades because of the ignorance of an unquestioning public that arrived at voting age trained by the socialist public school education establishment. We have voted and can now only pray that somehow things might be different this time.
When one chooses to work for the government, they agree to be bound by a Civil Service Act that establishes employee rights and protections. Take it or leave it.
They do not get to gain additional leverage using individual interest unions to additionally extort unsustainable advantages on whim, or use those same unions to support local elections that put their exclusive interests on both sides of the taxpayer bargaining table ..
To wit -the most chilling example in this election: District candidate Four Devon Wardlow shown before the election grinning over her endorsement from the city fire fighters union, who are already the most lavishly paid city employees that taxpayers are required to fully fund. She sold out before the first vote was cast. (See Transparent California)
"Essential government services" . Today this nebulous term means only one thing:
Current government employees provide "essential government services'. So providing for "essential government services means paying off the (1) ever-increasing government employee health care benefit premiums; (2) the intentionally under-funded employee pension obligations long-projected which are now coming due; and (3) the automatic longevity and COLA raises each government employee is guaranteed for the hundreds of thousands of new government employees added just during the Newsom years.
If the CAGOP has no recognizable, statewide, active political leader, how is it ever going to gain the number of party members to win the elections necessary to break the stranglehold of the Democratic Party?
California is bigger in every way, than a number of independent countries. It should act that way. The California Republicans need an identifiable, high-energy, believable, political leader around whom they can become a political force. There is nobody we can look to for leadership, inspiration, direction and loyalty to become a voting force and a determinant in the future of California.
There appears to be no procedure with which to accomplish this, if so, the party needs to create one very soon. The alternative is to stagger along with 25% of the voters.
LOL - we pose the exact same question to you Mr Bergerson. Efficient delivery of government services benefits everyone.
Now get on board and clean out the waste fraud and abuse that robs everyone. Pouring more good money after bad benefits no one. We are impervious to your insults and threats. So shall we both move on to more attainable interests and goals?
Multiple studies have shown that Medicare for All would save lives—and money. Most recently, researchers at Yale University estimated that implementing such a system would save over 114,000 lives annually while reducing healthcare expenditures by more than $1 trillion per year.

Ban all government employee unions.

If I may, here is my follow-on thought.

Derek, I am afraid the money to fund a strong CAGOP has already fled California.
Have you guys ever voted YES on anything that would benefit someone other than you?
