The long-standing jack boot of leftist oppression has been lifted off our lives. We can breathe again. And are now inured to incoming slings and arrows. We were not alone afterall. The entire nation roared.

California needs Lara Trump to get busy here in our beautiful state for 2026! Make California great again! Clean up our voter rolls! A quote from a great movie…”If you built it, they will come”…If one great patriot can flip a county In Pennsylvania, California can do the same. The ball is in our court for the first time since Regan, whom I voted for in my first presidential election! Keep the faith. California is ready for change!

I guess Gov. Newsom has called for a special legislative session to fight Trump!! It another signal he’s out of touch with the people of the United States. We are adults! We are sick of your politics and taxes. We are tired of being treated like garbage. You don’t even follow your policies! Your policies turned this state into a third world country! Voters did make a choice: more dysfunctional and fiscally ruinous nanny state; or more limited government , independence and personal accountability? Harris and Newsom's California became the poster child for what much of the nation did not want to see happen to them. Ever.

Lara Trump probably needs to get her life back, for a while. She was an outstanding addition and deserves a lot of praise for the needed directional change to become the new wider GOP tent. Hope Mark Cuban sends her a personal apology. Even bouquet of flowers would be nice, one a day, for at least as long as she put in herown effort to pull off this tremendous political rebound.

I’m sure you meant 2016 unless you’re already planning his next campaign which doesn’t make any sense. I don’t know if anyone has noticed both of trump’s wins were against women. This clearly shows America, and this includes men and women, doesn’t trust women. Intelligent smart women with political know how, common sense, diplomatic skills. A lot of it is misogynistic, men afraid of strong women, some of it is racist, men and women who want to control other women with their beliefs, also many misinformed individuals.

I inadvertently did a little thought experiment yesterday on Facebook by posting an AI image of a regal Eagle against a sunrise and the words "God Bless America." I do try to stay away from politics on what I perceive to be an advertising medium to showcase my tattoo work and attract clients. But I thought an image of pure patriotism was neutral. OH NO. While hundreds did click "like" I also discovered that dozens went to great effort to write the most hateful and erroneous venom aimed at Trump, pure TDS, actually quite shocking. I deleted them !!! If they want to wallow in their brainwashed negative bias, agonizing and threatening to leave the country, ok goodbye. But I want to focus on the positive, that I feel like we now have a chance to escape the cycle of endless foreign wars, and with the brilliant team he now has working with him to begin the long process of taking back the Government FOR the People.

I too am pleased with the outcome of the election, but I am cautious and believe we should control our expectations. In a federalist system there is only so much that can be accomplished in a lasting manner by the executive. I agree with our neighbor Jay, that the words of MLK were about something greater than living under a temporary administration we do not care for, referencing them in the context of an election victory diminishes the meaning and impact of his words. We too however need to wait and contribute so that the expectations of today become our reality for the future.

Mark, There are few quick fixes for something that has been endemic out of balance for so long. Elephants however do believe in slow, steady and sure And are ready for the long commitments it will take. Generational, in fact. Much patience has been learned during the long interregnums. It took a long time to go so far off the rails from our founding principles. Not an easy journey to put things back. But the people did speak loudly and across the board, that they want to start this journey.

Great article Jim, but not so fast. Based on the melt down on the left, harmony and unity is the last thing these radicals want. The “concession” speech by Harris at Howard University, was pathetic, disjointed and truly an embarrassment. We can expect in the coming months from the left, hostility, demonstrations, walk outs and mayhem.

No, these radicals will not go quietly and continue to make insane, hateful noise.

Just yesterday AG James from NY gave a bizarre, unhinged press conference in which she maintains her case against our President Elect. Maybe we need a Trump Justice Department to go after her!

BTW, for a good laugh, check out some of the videos of lefty’s losing their minds! It is truly amazing how these people can maintain themselves in a modern society.

The left now is blaming white women for their political incompetence. What a pathetic excuse, when all along it’s because of outrageous policies.

So glad of the election results, but our work is just now beginning!

It seems the only thing missing is liberation from the climate scam, the "green new deal"- it is more expensive than the race baiting DEI and CRT, the Border crisis, and the gender ideologies combined at 95 trillion dollar pricetag for essentially nothing but a further deficit- an honest scientist described the Co2 problem as "imagine the Golden Gate Bridge has a single grain of sand on it and the governor claims it is dirty and we have to spend trillions to clean it up." The Democrats said if they retained power it was 'time' to get rid of the filibuster, pack the supreme court, legalize illegals into future voters thereby grabbing permanent power. Maybe we should ask them if they still feel those things should be addressed? Should we get rid of filibuster, pack the court, and deport all illegals and take permanent power? We are better than they are so we won't BUT we SHOULD do this. Give them 12 months to agree to permanent amendments/laws etc. that cannot be revoked, that would guarantee the filibuster is untouchable, and guarantee that the Supreme Court can never be packed, and guarantee that only legal citizens can vote with national voter ID. We then give them the choice of rediculous options. Either sign these bills/amendments/laws, or while we still have the power we will remove the filibuster, pack the court, and deport all the illegals. The logic being, if they won't agree to a permanent solution, then they are just waiting to do it next time, so why let them have that chance. Either you sign, or we'll do it and retain permanent power ourselves. They can choose. We are fine with either scenario.

Great read, Jim. I'm sitting here thinking there are still millions of brainwashed people out there. I'm going to recommend to Trump for the Feds to create a law to remove political indoctrination from all the educational institutions in the country. Amend the Constitution to ban personal verbal political biases in the classrooms by teachers and professors across the country. The classrooms need to be a place of enjoyment to include learning of the many sciences, past historical philosophers of amazing wisdom, learning all types of music from the past. If someone wants to go to college, then a system is required to make it happen. It would be best if college could be a simple continuation of grade school, not a place where a kid enters into a financial burden if they don't come from a wealthy family.

I believe people are too engaged in non-productive political BS, we need our country to be productive, such as developing useful products for mankind, find cures for the diseases, teachers bringing back useful educational material to develop a new generation of engineers and scientist that can exceed those taking over in China, India, etc. Also engage the young interested in the world of the arts such as writing, music, painting. The education system is broken and is spitting out twisted minds by professors that don't love the country. If the educators don't love the country, then "fight" (a new word favored by Harris) these "educators" and keep them out of the universities to prevent them from polluting the minds of students. From my own observations of the "educated," university graduates are very gullible to professor BS and should not be subject to political biases. I think the mind lacks critical thinking of political stuff till after the age of thirty or so. Regardless, don't have schools turning into a place wasting time performing political activities; just ban politics in schools.

Politics with too much lying is a lollipop for the uneducated, they just love licking up lies. I understand we all like to write about this stuff. But the Dems main tool is the presentation of lies. Talking politics in college is a waste of time when these gullible children could be learning useful tools for entering the workforce. They need to create common sense first which it's obvious they don't have when spouting off the stuff they do, especially now seeing their reaction after the election. Screaming, cutting off their hair, crying illustrates the idiocy of our young that have glued eyes on their cellphones all day long. Trump needs to make a swipe at educators focusing on spreading political lies.

Mr. Bill, trump once said he love the uneducated. Many magas licked up trumps lies (lollipops) as you say. You’re saying talking politics in college is a waste of time, when these gullible children should be working, you say they need to create common sense first. Maybe that was part of the problem, because according to reports he won big with young people. Yet it looks like you’re calling these young people gullible idiots with no common sense with their eyes glued to their cell phones. Keep up the good work.

Ms. Julia, did I detect a word salad in there? Common sense is a very good attribute. Having done much troubleshooting of "things" I've also studied people to learn about them. Next to parents are teachers that children think can be trusted. Teachers can't be trusted in many ways, including the presentation of educational material. Let's stop there for now, I don't want you to have brain exhaustion.
