Secret Service Blamed, DOJ Shamed, Donald Trump Reframed
by Robert Eringer
“Veteran Who Holds World Record for Longest Confirmed Sniper Kill Weighs in on Trump Assassination Attempt” (Daily Mail)
Highlights:
A veteran whose team holds the world record for longest confirmed sniper kill claims Donald Trump’s shooter 'had help' in his attempted assassination attempt.
'I have no doubts in my mind that the shooter had help from somewhere within an agency, an organization or the government.'
In a damning statement on Saturday night, FBI Special Agent [in Charge] Kevin Rojek also said it was 'surprising' Crooks managed to fire off so many shots before he was shot dead by agents.
“Secret Service Blames Local Police, Says they were Tasked with Securing Properties Surrounding Trump’s PA Rally.”
Bollocks.
The top priority of the U.S. Secret Service is to protect the president, former presidents, and top nominees for president.
If they misjudged the perimeter and abrogated their responsibility to other law enforcement, shame on them. And additional shame for trying to lay blame elsewhere.
It is now very clear that the rally site in Butler, PA was poorly guarded. The Secret Service solely bears ultimate responsibility for this debacle.
Laziness? Discipline distracted by Woke practices under Madame Cheatle?
Or by design?
“Secret Service Chief Says She Won’t Resign After Trump Rally Shooting”
No shame, she, the Cheatle she is.
When minsters in the UK screw up, they have the dignity to resign.
In this country, they get indignant.
As Trump pointed out, Biden never fires anyone. Which means he is stuck with screwups like Alejandro Mayorkas (open border), Merrick Garland (lawfare)—and the Cheatle.
And what a motley medley they be. (Been, come January.)
“Biden Finally Grants Secret Service Protection to RFK Jr. After Months of Resistance”
About friggin’ time.
Memo to RFK, Jr: Don’t give up your private security contingent anytime soon!
“Trump Met with RFK Jr. to Seek Endorsement” (Politico)
Maybe Trump offered RFK Jr. the directorship of CIA in exchange for his endorsement.
THAT would certainly stir the swamp!
“Republicans Embrace ‘Divine Intervention’ for Trump’s Near-Miss into Martyrdom” (Politico)
If they are paying attention, the multitude of so-called “progressives” trying to destroy the United States… well, they just got a lesson in the true meaning of divine intervention.
“Grateful, Defiant Trump Recounts Surviving ‘Surreal” Assassination Attempt at Rally: ‘I’m Supposed to be Dead’” (NY Post)
It appears that a near-death experience has resulted in a spiritual awakening.
This Thursday the world will witness a kinder, gentler Donald Trump.
“Bill Maher: Trump Shooter Did ‘So Much Damage to the Left’” (Salon)
Ya think, Bill?
A would-be assassin sealed the deal.
The only thing the Dems can do at this point is replace the cackling Kamel with RFK, Jr. as a running mate. And even that won’t cut it.
Biden is already obsolete.
Not least because…
“Elon Musk Said he is Committing Around $45 Million a Month to a New Pro-Trump Super PAC” (WSJ)
Money wins elections. While Demo donors hide their wallets due to Biden’s delusions of grandeur (and “Doctor” Jill’s “let them eat cake” mindset), the Trump Campaign cannot spend the tens of millions pouring in fast enough.
“FBI is Working to Break into the Phone of Trump Rally Shooter” (The Verge)
Agents in Pennsylvania were unable to break into the phone. It’s been shipped to the FBI’s lab in Quantico, Virginia, where the FBI hopes to get past the phone’s password protection.
And then be buried?
Let us not forget the FBI knew Hunter Biden’s laptop was genuine but remained mute while 51 senior members of the intelligence community coerced mainstream media magnates, social media honchos and the voting electorate into erroneously believing Hunter’s laptop was “Russian disinformation.”
“Trump’s Florida Case Stunningly Dismissed After Judge Finds Appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith Violated the Constitution”
To quote Joe Biden (31 May 2024): "Our justice system has endured for nearly 250 years, and it literally is a cornerstone of America. Our justice system should be respected. We should never allow anyone to tear it down. It's as simple as that."
Our justice system just declared that the highly politicized Department of Justice violated the Constitution.
It’s as simple as that.
Which means U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland should resign.
“Former Israeli Hostage Sues Non-Profit Who Employed ‘Hamas operative’ Who Held him Captive” (NY Post)
Ramzy Baroud
This piece invokes the University of California, Santa Barbara. One of the defendants, Ramzy Baroud, is a non-resident scholar at the Orfalea Center for Global and International Studies (CGIS).
Paul Orfalea (the Montecito-based founder of Kinko’s) is a decent dude. I’d hate to see him dragged into this just because of his deep pockets, the way plaintiff lawyers select targets.
That said, CGIS should be more careful about who they allow through their doors. Hamas is satanic.
Rescue hostages. Exterminate kidnappers/rapists/murderers. Period.
“‘Morning Joe’ Hosts Take On-Air Swipe at NBC Leadership after Program was Pulled from Air”
They’re mad as hell and not going to take it anymore!
Scarborough defiantly told viewers it would never happen again. “Next time we are told there’s going to be a newsfeed replacing us, we will be in our chairs,” he said, with his wife chuckling in agreement.
Charles de Gaulle once said, “The graveyards are full of indispensable people.”
My own view: When I want whine, I uncork a bottle.
“Biden Defends ‘Bullseye’ Remark About Trump During NBC Interview” (NY Post)
Joe Biden’s explanation to Lester Holt about saying it’s time to put Trump in the bullseye:
“I didn’t say crosshairs!” explains Joe.
So I asked ChatGPT to tell me the difference between “bullseye” and “crosshairs.”
Definition: A bullseye refers to the center of a target, typically used in archery, shooting, and other precision sports. It is the innermost circle or mark in a series of concentric circles on a target.
Definition: Crosshairs refer to a pair of fine lines crossing at right angles at the center of an optical instrument, such as a telescope, microscope, or gunsight.
Maybe one of Joe’s handlers should explain to him that bullseye is just as bad as crosshairs, perhaps worse.
“In J.D. Vance, Trump is Going All in on Populism—and Elevating an Heir Apparent” (Politico)
The difference between political wunderkinds Bill Clinton and J.D. Vance:
Bubba was a pretend populist who strove to join the ranks of the elite (as schooled by Carroll Quigley at Georgetown University).
J.D. Vance is a true populist.
Finally…
I’ve been trying to find a news item—any news whatsoever—about John Kerry (barf).
There isn’t any.
Such bliss!

Thanks, Robert. Terrific, even when I don't agree with you and enjoy your illustrations. In the midst of this crazy week, watching the Republican Convention was a relief of high-energy sanity. I never liked the Republican Party until now. There are still too many swamp creatures in it who never met a war they didn't love. But it's as though everything once good about the Democratic Party has been reborn in the New Republican Party. And it's way better. And it's being preached and practiced by younger politicians who - at least not yet - haven't let themselves dissolve into Neo Con sliminess. I think we're also going to see the emergence of the Silent Majority of Gen Z, those young people who have experienced the brutal woke era and had to swallow their dignity or be cancelled from everything they want to do. And they've already been through the Leftist fire, they'll know how to battle it. I'm excited at the possibility I see of this country truly becoming great again.
I have been riveted to analysis and commentary for days, learning a lot about security precautions and protocol. Manchurian candidate or patsy, too many people "stood down" and are complicit either by intent or incompetence.
