AMEN!

So well said! Where do you find a “Christmas Tree” prior to Halloween?

I want one!

It took a while to pull the trigger, but about 15 years ago we bought a fake tree. We've had it ever since. Comes with the lights and we decorate it with about 500 ornaments. Or at least it feels like that. :) The upside is no mess and we can put it up early. If I had my way I would keep it up all year. My wife does draw the line by New Years.

Love the sentiment but putting the Christmas tree up at Halloween is too early for me

Have a merry Christmas one and all

Merry Christmas Mr. Schulte!!!

We (us observers) were very aware of the war, groups that represent less than 5% of the population waged. Christmas Parades became holiday parades (forget the reason for the season).

The snarky attitude of these minorities was (and to this day) how dare you. It is clear.

I'll make the point that there are plenty of places in the world you can live, and not have to hear Merry Christmas. China, Afghanistan, Iran, and more to the point where you will be thrown into jail for the words.

For my goods friend Alan, Andy, Issy, who always wishes me a Merry Christmas it is always appreciated.

Good item ....

OH and "To All a Good Night."

Got to chuckle at the paid ad directly below your article touting the following;

“Miss B’s Holiday Party”.

I'm exactly the same.y Christmas Cards say Merry Christmas and not Happy Holidays. When greeted with a Happy Holiday,my response is Merry Christmas. And during the Holidays I always thank someone with a Merry Christmas and always receive a smile back.

We set up our tree after Thanksgiving and leave it up until Epiphany as they do in Europe to celebrate all the majesty of Christ's birth.

Is this what you're talking about, Henry? Just after I read your beautiful reflection, this reel popped up on my Facebook page. Watch through to the end, "Some Children See." Tennessee Ernie Ford with Timmy & Lassie, December 25, 1958 broadcast.

Target, of course, has holiday trees on sale

Yes Celeste. Not that everything was perfect in the past, we still placed more importance on family and friends and leading a wholesome life. Too much is placed on politics and unbending opinions that create nothing but anger and in too many cases hatred. When we’re on our death beds would that anger have made any difference? So much more fun being happy.

Great comments on this good article, my lesson is "you be you" I still have my pumpkins out and enjoy them everyday. As an x-retailer from the party world Christmas and New Years has always been my favorite.

Of the seasons I like fall best.

Harvest time. And if the harvest was bountiful, everything will be alright. I can see why we have Thanksgiving.
