I’ve been laying low the last couple weeks. I’m transitioning.
I’m transitioning from a country that had been covered by a dark cloud and filled with tension. Families were afraid to speak with each other. Neighbors avoided any kind of discussion related to politics. People were afraid of retribution or ending up in no-win screaming matches.
It was an uncomfortable and gray world.
Never have we seen such a turnaround in a blink of an eye.
We have witnessed uber-liberal Trump haters fly down to Mar-a-Lago and were welcomed to sit at the MAGA table. People who only weeks before would have been viscously attacked by their political brethren for rubbing elbows with the enemy.
Honestly, would anyone on the left or right ever have thought Justin Trudeau would have done that? Mark Zuckerberg? That one really blows my mind. Jeff Bezos is even showing signs of wanting to snuggle up with number 47. New York City Mayor Eric Adams sees the graffiti under the bridges and is indicating transitioning himself. Even James Carville, a staunch liberal nut case, is admitting Joe Biden and Barack Obama effed up.
There’s one big element missing: Kamala Harris. Despite still being our VP, she’s become nothing more than dust in the wind.
The World On Notice: Trump is Back
Harris and her boss are technically still in charge, but you wouldn’t know it. They too – overnight – have become that old actor who just died but who you thought was already dead. By all accounts, the world has been put on notice, and notice it has taken; there’s a new president in town. And this time he’s doesn’t need to get his administration ramped up.
It already is.
His actions will be measured, calculated, and totally transparent. Unlike his predecessor, Trump will do things on the up and up. He won’t be hiding; there won’t be any secrets.
So many times, Democrats and leftists thought they had Trump nailed to the cross. Never has a presidential candidate been so attacked and vilified since, well maybe since the other guy who actually was nailed to the cross. They can’t believe how he isn’t in jail, or dead. Especially after all the lying, cheating, and corrupt maneuvers they pulled.
He survived numerous tribal councils to become the winner.
Trump has chosen a top-notch cabinet unlike any in recent times. Extremely smart and qualified individuals who will do the work and place America first. They won’t be doing their jobs for only those who voted Republican; they’ll work hard to benefit all Americans. The corruption we’ve witnessed over the past four years will begin to diminish. It will be like a giant Hoover vacuum and by which the dirt of Washington will be sucked out of its cushy offices.
Who Let the DOGE Out?
Look at how much we have learned in such a short time: Only 6% of government employees go to work five days a week. And as we know the government is beyond being bloated, it’s obese to the umpteenth degree. No one is working but all are getting paid. If Kamala won, this would have continued unhindered and would never have been brought to the forefront.
Thank you, Department of Government Efficiency; thank you Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk. Thank you, DOGE.
Would we have learned how bad our food is in this country? How many of us really know about the chemicals that are put in our cereals? Had Harris won she would have allowed it to continue. She would have blackmailed corporations to pay off her campaign debt and bury the truth. Here comes Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., new Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Would we have learned the real numbers spent on “asylum seekers”? Or that mayors and governors around the country would come out and admit they plan on protecting criminals over the people that voted for them?
How sick is that? What is wrong with those people? Did they not hear the shouts from the electorate to stop it? Welcome aboard, Tom Homan.
I hadn’t planned on writing another political piece but most of the time I can’t control my brain and my fingers. Stuff comes out and I have to allow it to go in the direction it wants to.
This was going to be my Christmas column and as it turns out, it is. Whether the left knows it or is willing to accept it, we all received the best Christmas gift we could ever hope for. Returning America to a land of where everyone has a fighting chance to be happy. A chance to put a few more dollars in their pockets and maybe even begin to feel safer again.
It won’t be easy, but the alternative would have been the road to hell.
It’s time for the United States of America to regain respect on the world stage. Not necessarily having to be feared but no longer looked upon as a bunch of easy – and corrupt – marks. A nation where everyone is welcome, though with one caveat: you must do it the right way.
We need to get back on the same team and put a stop to the over-the-top drama that pushes us away from each other. There is a new clarity, a lifting of the political spirit.
For those who really hate Trump, don’t worry about the man, enjoy the results.
I love Christmas.
If I had my way, I’d make it a yearlong holiday. We had our tree up before Halloween and yet in a few short weeks, the holiday will be over. And it will be a blink before I’ll be writing something about Christmas again.
Let’s take this holiday and put aside hard feelings, enjoy family and friends, and put politics under the rug. After all, what are politics? Just a bunch of people making new laws to stay busy.
We Americans are blessed that we can wallow in so many gifts this country affords. From its natural wonders to the food on our tables. America takes care of her people.
Let’s take care of each other.
Merry Christmas!
I love this article so much. And I know what you mean about not wanting to write about or post about anything but then your brain and fingers sort of make the decision for you. I recently discovered on Paramount Plus a series called The Good Wife. It's clearly a left-leaning show, but it was pretty good. I mean seriously, what isn't left leaning on TV anymore? I finished the series and saw that there is a follow-up series called The Good Fight. This one has serious issues.
I mention it right now because, while I despise a lot of the content, I love courtroom dramas and these series have plenty of that, but I mention it because there is so much hatred for Trump. One of the lawyers is taking drugs and she sees crazy stuff on TV that she believes Trump is doing and of course it's all on fake news media. They have literally turned everything around and made any conservative to be a racist Nazi maniac. It's no wonder that people on the left see anyone on the right as a nutcase. It's shows like this that perpetuate the massive divide between the two parties. Now I just look at the show and laugh. I literally cannot believe how much crap is being shown through this show. But guess what?
The lawyer who hates Trump the most had lost millions of dollars under Obama, but under Trump, she regained her money within a few short months. And yet she still hates Trump. It's crazy to me how the media perpetuated how evil Trump and all of his supporters are over the years. It's the frog in a boiling pot metaphor and I am glad I have been out of California for several months now because I don't experience that where I am currently staying. It is so refreshing.
This article points out that Trump is, and has been, an American force that will fight and win for the betterment of our country. Thank God for this, my most favorite Christmas gift ever (expect of course the very first Christmas gift which is the one that matters the most).
Merry Christmas everyone, and I am confident we will all have a very, very happy New Year...for the next four years 😂🎄
100% agree, but until the gift of Trump back in charge is unwrapped on January 20th, I remain vigilant. The DOJ has actually stepped up it’s J6 arrests and increased punishments for those who exercised their 1st Amendment rights. I’m not trying to be a wet blanket, but look no further than Syria to see the bad guys have not yet thrown in the towel. The good guys you listed are a much stronger team, but the bad guys can create a lot of turbulence between now and the inauguration.
