The Day of National Reckoning is at Hand

Just one day until Election Night. Everyone is paying attention. Approximately half the nation dislikes the direction that it sees the presidential campaign is taking and they're wringing their hands in despair and already beginning to play the blame game. The other half is loading up with hope, cautious optimism, and the kind of faith forged by confident expectation.
I've lived through 17 presidential campaigns starting with Dwight Eisenhower's campaign for reelection in 1956. I've seen and experienced just about everything that goes for national politics over 68 years. There've been high moments and low moments for both major parties over the years, but I can say without a tinge of doubt that...
...There has never – ever – been a campaign waged by both sides quite like the one we've witnessed over the last two years. Never have the stakes been higher for the direction our American republic will take over the next generation or two, and never have we experienced such a pivotal realignment of voting blocs as has occurred since 2015.
Monumental, historic, unprecedented.
Time to Wrap it Up
The nation's partisan cleavage has never been wider or deeper than it is right now. There's little common ground that extended families can bond together with anymore at Thanksgiving Day dinners. People are not talking to most people if their politics are suspect. There is little debate or civil discussion among differing family members, colleagues at work, even among worshippers sharing the same pew at church.
Personally, I believe Donald Trump and J.D. Vance will be the next President and Vice-President of the United States. And they deserve to be. Their cause is just, and they've made an extremely persuasive case for that cause. They've gone out on a branch and made themselves vulnerable before the very people they need to make their candidacies successful.
They've ostracized several blocs within their own party – people who weren't willing to pull at the oars for a revitalized new party with a fresh new mission. That's fine because Trump/Vance have gone out and peeled millions of new partisans away from the other party who were dissatisfied with where their party was taking us as a nation and/or believe their old political affiliations had either betrayed their ideals or have taken them for granted.
It's time to wrap things up as the campaigns wind down. It's doubtful if there is anything out there that can organically change the dynamics or add some intrinsic worth to the mix of issues and attitudes already on the table. For better or worse, it's likely that more than a third of who's going to vote have already voted.
Tucker Carlson’s Inspirational Speech
For those who haven't yet voted, or are sitting on the fence of indecision, or know they're going to fill out the ballot with a vote for Trump/Vance at the top, I highly recommend viewing and listening to the eight-minute video of Tucker Carlson extemporaneously (as always) addressing and ginning up the 20,000 wildly ecstatic Trump rally-goers at Sunday evening's Madison Square Garden festival of love and light.
I've heard any number of top-quality stem-winders in my time. However, in 2024 politics, there's nobody to compare with the power, punch, and relentless intensity of Carlson to enlighten and persuade listeners, both intellectually and emotionally.
Every campaign should end with an emotional highlight – a send-off to its voters. Tucker Carlson delivers on all cylinders in his short address.

Let’s roll, time for some payback. Mr. McCalmont accurately describes “Day of National Reckoning,” because that is exactly the sentiment. Why? Because Conservatives have been forced fed mounds of BS from the MSM into believing we are somehow inferior. Conservatives have been labeled by liberal elites as: “garbage,” “Un-American,” “Nazis,” “racists,” and “climate deniers,” just to mention a few of their despicable slurs. Now is the time for the pedal to the metal and make the liberal establishment eat a super-sized order of Pu-Pu Platter! We mustn’t forget how we got here, the lawfare, and attempting to assassinate our candidate in order to silence our voices. Our voices speaking loud and clear to; end the nanny welfare state, take back our schools, end transgender insanity, become a energy superpower, unleashing our capitalist juggernaut, adding conservatives to the courts and preserving our great military!
Yes, time for payback. We need investigations into the sham, criminal Democrat establishment. Joe Biden, Nancy Polosi and Chuck Schumer need to be led off in handcuffs! We need to purge the Justice Department, State Department, FBI and CIA of the TRAITORS who have circumvented our laws and constitution. Only then can we move forward to save our great country.
