I can understand why you don't like universities today, but I still prefer living in a college town to one that doesn't have a university. Of course it's a mixed blessing. There's always something interesting going on at UCSB I can attend, but the influence it's had on Santa Barbara politics has generally been bad. But still, without UCSB Santa Barbara would just be full of real estate agents and people in finance.
As for Israel and Palestine: yes, a lot of Leftists supporting Palestine are guilty of what you mention, for example their love of transgenderism would not go over there. But many people who are critical of Israel in this conflict - including myself - are not advocating Palestinian values or expressing anti-Semitism - but are appalled by Israel's attack.
Israel didn't attack anything, it responded. It's an important distinction. The Jew haters in Palestine don't deserve your empathy and they absolutely have and will continue to weaponize it toward their end goal of ethnically cleansing the Jewish population in Israel "from the river to the sea". Palestinians acting like 10th century Vikings and killing and wounding thousands of people in some cross border raid needed a response, a brutal one. Deterrence matters. They refuse to make peace, so what they get is more war. That is their choice, not Israels. Israel gave them fair terms, return the hostages. They won't. So the war continues.
When America is presented with radical anti-Semites wielding national power as a means to a final solution we present them with far less favorable terms then just returning some hostages. Unconditional Surrender.
Those that support it are ignorant at best, complicit at worse. The fact that this support manifests in colleges where critical thinking and fact based analysis were supposed to be the foundation is not just appalling, its a call to action for any moral person. The fact that these colleges are allowing these Jihadist supporters to actually target Jews on campus deserves a response from the 101st airborne, not just a funding cut.
Oh please. Disagree with me but don't use the A-S bomb. You are no better when you do that than Leftists who call me ignorant and complicit with the ultimate A-S bomb, Hitler, for supporting Trump. Try getting to the peace table rather than throwing bombs, Jim.
They told you what they believe, they acted on the belief on October 7th. You don't believe them? I wasn't calling you anti-semitic, I was saying you were acting willfully ignorant of the motivations of the Jihadists (who are anti-semitic). The Palestinians deserve everything they have invited, they started the war and they were offered peace if they just returned Hostages. Hostages by the way, some of whom, are American (30+ AMERICANS were killed on October 7th).
Being willfully ignorant is a leftist trait, yet you say you're a supporter of Trump. The war can stop when they (Palestinians) surrender, until then, give them the war they asked for and be brutal enough to remind everyone else in the region who wants to mass murder Jews or take shots at Americans what happens when you tee up to the plate.
Just checking. It is wrong to lump all Jews together and think they all think with one mind. But it is ok to do that to the Palestinians in Gaza, even those who never got to vote for Hamas, those who votd against Hamas, those who felt Hamas was the least bad out of bad choices and those who are Catholic or Christian? Why the double standard? Why do Jews deserve respect and consideration of their individuality, which I agree with, but Gazans deserve a broad brush condemnation to subhuman status and deemed deserving of death? How is that not sociopathic?
Jim, I had to deal with sociopaths in legal battles. Aimee bears no resemblance to that mentality at all. The sociopathic mindset is one of such intense self-hatred that it must have enemies to project that hatred onto in order not to self-destruct - at every moment. It wants to kill every moment of every day because that's what it sees as survival. Peace is not seen as survival to the sociopath, only war. Aimee, who I sometimes disagree with, I still respect because she is looking for peace.
Fair is fair, she wanted to call into question my character and motivations for making the argument, so I will return it in kind.
Your description of sociopathy is spot on by the way for people who support Palestinians. They say outright what their intentions are, they have acted on those intentions time and time again. It's in their founding charter documents, in their religious texts, in their selective outrage for Jews, in their calls for "Death to America".
She isn't actually looking for peace, because she has no comment on the fact that two parties are required for peace to happen. If she actually cared about Palestinians she would be rooting for Israel to inflict blow so decisive against Hamas and the Palestinians that they turn away from their attempt to violently achieve their political aims and accept a new status quo.
This isn't complicated, it's just war and war is ugly. But sometimes you need to see it through. We understood that when we were fighting the Nazi's. We understood it when we were fighting the Japanese. Both of whom were far more ideologically motivated to continue the fight then Palestinians are.
Yes it's appropriate, because Palestinians are not an ethnicity (they are ethnically Arab), they are a nationality tied to a specific geographic area. There is no double standard. "Gazans" were polling at 72% support for the attacks 2 months after the attacks took place:
I know you really want the Palestinians to not be a collective group of terrorist shitheads, but this isn't a confusing topic to anyone not being willfully dense or trying to red herring there way through a conversation like you are.
They can release the hostages and enjoy peace. This entire conflict is in their hands to stop, they choose not to.
Also nice job trying to create a soft justification for discrimination against American Jews because they happen to share an ethnicity or practice the same religion as some other Jews in the middle east. Sociopath? Look in the mirror Aimee.
So, by your logic, if the majority of Americans, a rag tag collection of people who share a geographic area, agree we should invade Iraq killing millions and shredding their society and polluting it with depleted uranium munitions, occupy and bleed resources in Syria until their government falls and satanic bloodthirsty headchoppers take over and unleash a reign of terror on religious minorities, bomb Libya until their government crumbles and they suffer a breakdown of society, we deserve to experience siege of food, energy and water, targeting of hospitals, journalists and aid providers, and we deserve to have our cities and towns flattened.
Israel Shahak and Norton Mezvinsky in their book "Jewish Fundamentalism in Israel" cite a poll that the vast majority of Jews in Israel supported the Hebron Massacre, a terror attack on praying Muslims in a Mosque carried out by a Chabbad doctor from Brooklyn who was celebrated by many in Israel. Israelis celebrate the founding of Israel every May 15, which resulted in many massacres and the displacement of 750,000 people. Palestinians remember their killed and displaced on that day and call it Al Nakba or "catastrophe." So by your logic, Israel deserved Oct. 7 and a great many more Oct 7ths..
The Netanyahu government has been shown to have been funding Hamas, the border protection was stood down in Israel on Oct. 7 for hours (do you know what false flags are or lihop?), and it turns out many of those killed on Oct 7 were killed by IDF fire power due to use of the Hannibal Directive, a policy where Israel would rather kill those taken hostage by the enemy rather than allow them to be used as a bargaining chip. The forty beheaded babies is as fake as Iraqi soldiers tossing babies out of incubators in Kuwait was as Iraq has WMD was and as Qaddafi handing out viagra for his troops to mass rape was. These are salacious atrocity porn LIES ginned up by intel agencies and repeated by a corrupt media to keep the thirst for war going.
Israel detains Palestinians, including children, and uses torture and sexual torture on detainees. Why doesn't Israel face a call to release all of these detained without due process? Why do Israeli hostages matter, but Palestinian ones do not? Israeli forces killed an unarmed American in the West Bank. Hamas is not in the West Bank. Why are there attacks on people in the West Bank and restrictions of Christians there? Why did the US fail to call for an investigation of the killing and organ harvesting of US peace activist Rachel Corrie at the hands of the IDF?
Please explain why Israel gets to form out of terror gangs, Stern Gang, Lehi, Irgun, and massacre people (see for example Tantura or Deir Yassin), expel people, bar them from return and repeatedly over the years invade their refugee areas, besiege, kill, detain, torture, but if Palestinians resist by means of force, then they are the terrorists. Please explain how you can justify this immoral logic. Please tell me why Jews deserve to be free from danger while Palestinians never do. My claim is we all deserve the same human rights and with the right leaders, we can all live in peace and thrive. Who indoctrinated you to rationalize genocide for any who think they have a right to resist siege, occupation and repeated invasion like those in Gaza have been experiencing, Jim?
And please explain how my position calling for eaual rights for all endangers Jews. Many Jews agree with me. Israel and the Israel lobby claims to speak for all Jews, but it does not speak for antiwar Jews. Why do they not count?
When I moved back to California in the 1970's, one of my requirements was looking a university town. Back when UCSB was perhaps no more than 11,000 students and had not become the local political game changer, nor pipeline for the current "housing crisis" we are now experiencing.
Back when you could drive to campus and easily find a free parking space for its many diverse cultural offerings. Santa Barbara was full of retired people back then; not so much real estate or finance people. I miss that Santa Barbara. Sleepy Santa Barbara, with a benign town and gown relationship, was my kind of Santa Barbara.
The universities today have created the problem America has with the Regressive’s on the left. Kids are taught what to think. Not how to think. This is not teaching. This is indoctrination. The adults thus formed lack the most important mental skill of all. Critical thinking. And so we end up with herds of people who require a judge to tell them what is and is not a woman etc. This is what America so soundly rejected in November. And rightly so.
I love colleges and universities today. My kids are attending two top schools - one a great state college and one an engineering school. For better or worse, they have kids from all over the world vying for admission and to pay $$ to go there.
I've asked them what they think about the whole issue with protests. In large, they think it's a media/boomer and Gen X problem that they hardly ever have to interact with. The engineering school tries to keep protests away from defence contractors there for career day, but that's about it. And that also tells you a big something.
Most polls show 8%-10% of college-age kids participating in protests on Campus. 1 in 10 is not trivial - but I'm not sure I'd start despising anything over that. .
As for trans kids playing in the NCAA that's another nothing sandwich for both the right and left. "Out of more than 500,000 NCAA student-athletes, NCAA President Charlie Baker stated in December 2024 that he was aware of “fewer than 10” transgender athletes currently competing in NCAA sports."
Of course you love the colleges today. Marxist shitholes with 90% of faculty identifying as far left, what's not to like. However, if you are interested in a balanced perspective and exposure to different viewpoints you wont get that in most universities today. Given that the colleges are indoctrination mills for Marxist ideology is is appropriate for them to be cut off from all government funding, lose tax exempt status and student loans should no longer be funded by the government but instead privately funded. I have felt this for tha last 30 years. Even in the 70's I was failed in English 101 for expressing conservative views.
I don't use Google. How many professors from UCSB voted for Trump. As a Google scholar you think you know much but you cannot see the nose on your face.
So how many voted for Trump? You have zero idea. I'm betting you haven't met a highschool teacher or professor since you failed english in the 70s? Do you even have kids? Or do you just make all this shit up?
Let's go to UCSB next week and set up a pro Trump, DOGE, Israel booth with merch and let's see how we are received. Do you really believe your own bullshit?
Again, I'm betting you haven't been active on any campus for five decades. Zero current life experience in that realm. Just keep drinking your own kool-aid.
Seems like all you know is your made up bullshit. Like you're 90% of faculty are far left. Go outside your bubble sometime.
Ask any recent graduate of a secular or religious university some questions like “ who said ‘et tu Brute’ “ or name a few of the Bill of Rights. Even more obscure knowledge would be to list even 5 of the 10 commandments. What used to be evidence of having achieved a “liberal arts” education now is generally missing. Borrowing massive amounts of money to get a liberal miseducation seems like a poor investment. Going to trade school may have been a better choice. Have you hired a plumber lately?
While I agree academia has been largely taken over by forces imposing identity politics, socialism and critical theory that seem to have been elevated by the owners of corporate America manifesting in requiring members to swear allegiance to DEI and Pharma, reversing that by swapping out those tyrannical mandates with a tyrannical order to swear a loyalty oath to Israel is just more of the same, not a restoration to fundamental principles. Without academic freedom to pursue truth that is a foundational part of Western Civilization, we are further hollowing out our already very corrupted and weakened society.
As other corrupt means are being used to silence any and all voices against Israel's plan for the US to got to war for its interests, the stakes are getting higher and we really cannot afford to be ignorant about Israel's hold on US society. We have already spent trillions, killed millions, and killed and maimed many tens of thousands of American service personnel for Israel's interests and against our own. These fights that Israel has gotten the US to take on so far were evil and unjust, but relatively safe for the US other than the moral rot and economic enslavement of our future generations.
Going to war with Iran is another kettle of fish. Iran is heavily fortified with conventional weapons, including missile technology that we do not have defenses against. Iran has the ability to put a large drop in the world's energy supply overnight by closing the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has powerful allies with nuclear arsenals in Russia and China who have their own interests in protecting Iran. Other than the $100 million dollars from Miriam Adelson and other Israel lobby support, why would the Trump administration want to undertake such a risky and evil policy?
If genuine MAGA Patriots do not wake up and see how our country is being corrupted and destroyed due to Israel's hold over elected officials and institutions through blackmail, bribery, lawfare, and threat of slander, we will be embroiled in yet another regime change war that will devastate our country and harm much of the world. If this all sounds crazy, don't take my word for it. Consider for example the interviews on Judge Andrew Napolitano's youtube channel. The perspectives of John Mersheimer, Ray McGovern, Jeffrey Sachs, Scott Ritter, and Douglas MacGregor offer important perspectives that are not often heard on the mainstream media. I hope every sincere patriot who loves this country and believes in morality will work to discern more carefully about US foreign policy around issues of war and peace and will speak up for morality and reason. The hour is late and our society is very deceived and damaged, but if God wills it, we can stop the descent and begin to turn things around. May God protect and guide us.
I find it strange indeed how Scott Ritter, Jeffrey Sachs and Col. MacGregor can be so right on "Ukraine" and (almost) so wrong on Israel and the Middle East. Nobody wants an ally such as Israel or Taiwan to drag us into a war with a third party such as Iran or China, but the animosity of Ritter, Sachs and MacGregor against Israel tells me there's something else - something insidious - at play. All three link their stands on "Ukraine" and "Israel" together. I can't, and don't, see it that way. There are many reasons to oppose Zelensky, just as there are equally as many reasons to stand behind Netanyahu (short of allowing Israel to force us into a war with Iran which would be catastrophic to everybody - including, of course, Israel).
The Israel Lobby has demanded that criticism of Israel be labeled antisemitism. Antisemitism is often used to capture a wide range of statements, but it is to be understood as antipathy towards Jewish people for no other reason than being Jewish. The ADL has been enforcing this on mainstream and social media, cancelling anyone who does not stay in line. The ADL was founded to free a Jewish convicted child murderer and rapist and got funding from Jewish organized crime. Many people, including Jewish people, think that Israel is bad for Jews both in Israel and in other countries such as the US. Some Jews are even questioning their identity as Jews over what they see happening in Israel that the Israeli govt claims to be in the name of Jews.
The only way we are going to be able to get to rationally discuss US foreign policy in Israel is if we can leave ad hominem logical fallacy to the side. (Claiming to know the *real* yet unspoken reason someone takes a potion is one form of ad hominem logical fallacy.) True, some might have an irrational antipathy toward people who are Jewish. But there are many other reasons people can want nothing to do with Netanyahu policies. Self-respect and a working moral compass are just two possible alternatives to Jew hatred. The days of Zionists telling us we can't talk freely about the most serious issues relating to war and peace and the survival of our country are going to find their attempts to coerce just as ineffective as those who try to coerce us out of talking about sexual morality.
I do not mind reminding people that Christian morality does not allow for Jew hatred. Catholic teaching has always rejected hatred of anyone on any basis, let alone simply being part of a different religious or ethnic community. This is not hard wisdom to follow and I recommend it for everyone. even if you are not Christian Not only is refusing to hate good for others, it is good for one's own heart and soul. Every human being is made in the image and likeness of God and it is a sinful act of hubris to think we get to hate anyone that God loves.
Reporting on what Jews have said is not speaking for Jews. None of can actually speak for anyone else, and that includes you. You also can't speak for Jews.
A very unique "lynching" in that most lynchings in the South were before the suspect had had the benefit of a trial. Frank's was after a fair trial, exhausting all appeals and then getting a pardon through political pressure on the governor. Mob violence is immoral, but all the more reason to prevent corruption of the justice system so that people will find no rationalization for it. One of the many unfortunate consequences of The Civil War was military occupation by the North imposing a rule that was seen as hostile, harming trust in institutions like the courts. We rationalize the Civil War as necessary to end slavery, but we ignore the fact that it was far more typical for slavery to end without such blood shed and power grabs as took place in the US.
He was convicted in a court of law. There is no proof he was framed. A Broadway play celebrating the child rapist and murderer does not change the facts. The ADL slandering people and censoring people who report on this does not change the facts. Your baseless slanders will not coerce me into silence. And your overuse of that slander cheapens its meaning. You should reread the story of the boy who cried wolf.
I highly recommend you consider the research and experience of the victim's grand niece, also named Mary Phagen. She says the posthumous pardon was done in secret with no chance for her or other family members to weigh in and it did not address guilt or innocence.
The details she provides about the political pressure and insensitive behavior are eye opening for anyone who has not been familiar with how the ADL operates. A marker on her Great Aunt's grave changed without the family being consulted? Somehow the court transcripts were disappeared. How was that accomplished? Her family is smeared for not being willing to knuckle under? A musical is produced to rewrite the history?
The ADL was involved in spying including on Alex Odeh in Los Anglese who was murdered and did not seem to have a vigorous investigation into his death. Please examine this history before you set to work saying the ADL is an honorable and honest organization. You might start with fellow ethnic Jew Jeffrey Blankfort. (I don't think he is religious, so maybe that doesn't count for you, but, either way, he seems to be a very sincere and credible man to me.) https://www.counterpunch.org/2002/02/25/the-adl-spying-case-is-over-but-the-struggle-continues/
The ADL does trainings in "Sensitivity" for law enforcement and has managed to insinuate itself into being the arbiter of who can and who cannot speak on the internet. Why was E Michael Jones deplatformed from youtube and twitter? Why does a google search for his website not provide it anywhere near the top hits? First hit is from the ADL. Interesting. Are the smear hustlers of the ADL prioritized in the google search engine?
I would advise you or anyone else who might read this, it is important to consider abuses of rights and unprincipled tactics even against people you do not agree with politically. If powerful groups are able to get access to government power to make war on their political opponents, then we are not functioning in a civilized society with equality before the law. We all deserve that and we all need that. Under Biden, we saw persecution of prolife Catholics. Now under Trump we see persecution of advocates for Palestinian human rights. Abuse of power to silence political opponents is plain unAmerican and it must be opposed regardless of the views of the people being subjected to it. Once we get used to political weaponization of law enforcement, IRS, research funding, and the like, it will be hard to restore equality under the law. I recommend the work of Glenn Greenwald. I do have different political opinions than he does on some issues, but he is very knowledgeable and principled about legal precedents and an advocate for vigilance in protecting our freedoms as Americans.
I agree with you in principle Aimee. The “Israeli Lobby” for lack of a better term, has a monetary grip on every country in the world by virtue of banking and finance. One only need ask themselves; how can 2% of US population control 98% of US wealth? Simplified economics to be sure but what if we say, Eskimos controlled the majority of the world’s economy, would the US public be asking for explanations?
Where I disagree with you is the capability of the US military over Iran. Suffice to say, we could turn Iran into a parking lot on a moments notice and they clearly know it.
I agree money is very important for controlling the US, but so are mindcontrol psyops like the Scofield Reference Bible manipulating otherwise well meaning Christians into supporting a genocide against fellow Christians in the Holy Land! Sure, money helped that movement get off the ground, but do not underestimate the power of the mind of the oppressed when it is given over to the oppressor and turned against its own self and family and people. Every one of us who frees our mind from manipulation by this organized criminal death cult, the less evil they can get away with.
If the US turns Iran into a parking lot, it would require nuclear weapons, and that will unleash consequences that we do not want to fathom, let alone face. The US has gone into debt fighting wars for Israel, COVID further put us into debt and for decades our industrial capacity built up by brave men who died young like my Dad has been sold off to enrich the investor class. Alienating the world against us by an unnecessary act of irrational brutality will be bad for the US economy, the environment, US security and our national soul. The time to stand against such crazy behavior is now, before it has happened. I hope you will join me. I am praying for us all here in the US, in Israel, in Iran, in Yemen and in the entire world. I know we are capable of better than this.
OK, then how do you explain a con artist family deserter, Cyrus Scofield, somehow being elevated as a great bible scholar getting his reference bible published by Oxford University Press and having it go viral in the US Baptist circles? It comes out shortly before the Balfour Declaration is issued as the Zionist project is getting off the ground. It just so happens to promote a diabolical heretical theology of dual covenant theology rather than supercessionism that says Christ is the fulfillment of scripture and open to all, including Jews. The first Christians were, after all, Jews. For sake of argument, let's say I am delusion and you are the sane one. How do you explain the production, distribution and influence of the Scofield Reference Bible on Baptist and then evangelical Christians in the US? A theology that caused many gullible Christians to champion the ethnic cleansing of Christians and Muslims from the Holy Land to make way for atheist Jews to form an enthostate? You like to name call and slap labels on people. Bring evidence for your claims.
Please tell me where I have erred in the facts of what I have said. I am open to better information, but not willing to be coerced into hiding important truths just because you think they should remain hidden. Neither you nor the ADL should feel you have the right to tell citizens and grown adults what they can and cannot say.
I agree it may be broad brush and thus not completely 100% accurate, but we allow people to speak in broad strokes about other communities and identity groups, so I do not believe it is done to be hateful rather than as a convenient shorthand. If the poster is incorrect, then correct the record. I do agree many Jewish people do not agree with what Jewish organized crime does with oligarchs and powerful people in banking and finance, but many, like their brainwashed colleagues in Christian Zionism, do blindly support Israel and use unprincipled methods to silence people who have concerns or objections to Israel or crimes carried out by organize Jewish crime. The ADL is part of covering for Jewish organized crime from the beginning yet is supposed to be trusted to decide who we can and can't see on social media? Sorry. People are no longer falling for this con.
WSJ column today reports how Democrats are spending their campaign dollars: DNC Vice Chairperson David Hogg raised $11 million dollars for his PAC. Of which, $266,000 was spent on on actual federal campaigns. The remaining $10.7 million dollars was spent on "operational expenses". Democrats manage their political campaigns the same way they manage our tax dollars - dollars for me and pennies for thee.
Peter: Long reported, understood and accepted. Voters/donors knew Trump was being forced to fight for all of us. Democrats missed the Everyman appeal of Trump. Which is why his approval numbers kept going up, the more Democrat lawfare got thrown at him. This was the first reveal how many voters were unhappy with the politicized nature of what had become two systems of justice, felt down at very grass roots level.
So you will not be shocking anyone here with your belated "disclosure". Anything else in your TDS tool chest you want to share? Little can tarnish Trump when you compare it to the wholesale fraud, self-dealing, coverups and auto-pen pardons issued by of the Biden administration.
This page has devolved into a dishonest propaganda machine. There actually are a handful of legit people I see in the comments on this page, but interestly, they never get to author any of the publications. The authors selected always have the exact same dishonest narrative. Why is that? David Samuel McCalmont, why did you put Palestine in quotes, as if it didn't matter? What is wrong with college students peacefully protesting genocide inflicted via US money? What is wrong with having the moral acuity that you apparently lack to denounce mass murder and destruction of churches and hospitals? There is something wrong with the echo chamber of insincere agendas on here. I appreciate those people who have tried to push back in the comments and bring truth and balance to a clearly corrupted page. Thank you to Polly Frost, S.2, Constantine, Thomas, Aimee Smith, Theotokos Appreciator, and Nancy Freeman. (Sorry if I forgot anyone, but you know who you are.)
"I despise colleges and universities today; they've become – for the most part – incubators for festering hostile ideologies in total opposition to the 249-year-old American Republican Project that has nurtured a unique cultural environment whose by-products have been freedom, liberty, and prosperity."
This American experiment you so adore has *never* been a part of Christendom, it's own founders were men who decapitated it through their enlightement ideals. And the "by products" of America you mention, of freedom, liberty, and prosperity - all worthless outside of a moral, traditional, and Christian system. These ideals are not emphasized at all in Scripture and tradition, Christ offers nothing but the Cross (and the spiritual Crown); perseuction, humiliation, agony, and death. Freedom must be the ability to do what is in accordance with God's will, liberty must be a liberation from sin, and prosperity should be of the heart not of Mammon. It is curious you mention these by products of republicanism, yet has this system of modernity and liberalism made men kinder, more loyal, and compassionate? No. All goes on as before, illusions, illusions.
The Pope called Christians in Gaza every day until his death. Christians are spat on in Israel. Is that ok with the author? Yes, it is odd for woke leftists to be calling for the same thing as Islamicist Hamas, but not crazier than Christians allying with Israel, a country that persecutes and slaughters Christians. May God help us. https://www.youtube.com/live/wFkSW5Ek9Wg
Is it a blood libel to factually report on what extremist Jews do without any pushback from the govt in Israel to Christians in Israel? No one is allowed to call out Jewish bigotry and crime? How convenient. I will happily stop talking about Jewish persecution of Christians when it stops happening. https://www.unz.com/pgiraldi/the-suppression-of-christianity-in-its-birthplace/ Israel Shahak and Norton Mezvinsky wrote an important book called "Jewish Fundamentalism in Israel." Alison Weir reports on the racism of the Chabad Lubavitch Jewish sect that has a lot of sway with Trump and many other important leaders: https://www.unz.com/article/why-is-the-us-honoring-a-racist-rabbi/
Not true. Unz is a free speech platform that allows for a wide range of opinions and beliefs. You are using what is called the association logical fallacy if you are interested in logic and reason or giving the appearance of having any respect for truth.
You are not a good mind reader. I don't hate anyone. In my religion we are called to love even our enemies. It isn't that hard if you give it a bit of practice. Maybe it is projection on your part. Do you hate Catholics? Do you hate me when you know almost nothing about me? Maybe you just hate most people? Even if I do not agree that a man can become a woman or a woman can become a man, why do I need to "hate" the person who disagrees with me or believes that is their reality? That seems childish and uncharitable. Does "hate" in your book mean "refuse to take orders from"? Because I do refuse to take orders for what to think from you or anyone but God. Why is that a problem for you? And even though I will never follow orders from you, I have no problem with hearing you out and considering your experience. How about you. But that should be a two way street. If you want people to respect your ideas, you will imo make it more likely to be heard if you demonstrate respect for the dignity and autonomy of others.
So if Jews, such as in the Jewish state of Israel, slaughter Christians, it is not allowed to be reported or stated because it would be "blood libel" to state it? The crime needs to go ignored? Jews have a right to kill Christians with impunity b/c "blood libel" is worse than the massacring people for being the wrong religion? Please explain. This morality of yours is very confusing. My church says simply that all human beings are sacred, made in the image and likeness of God and loved by God.
I didn't say collectively, you added that. Jewish organized crime exists. It will have factions, not be monolithic. Jewish organized crime did found the state of Israel and wage terrorist attacks such as the Lavon Affair, the attack on the King David Hotel and the false flag attack against Jewish refugees in port of Haifa in 1940 that killed hundreds of Jewish refugees. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patria_disaster These groups do operate in collectives. Do they include all Jews? No, never said they did. Do all Jews agree with them? No, never said they did. I think your error is to imagine things that are not said. Try, even as it is hard, to put emotion aside and read what is written rather than assume. You might find you have less enemies than you think you do. Just b/c someone won't let you tell them what to think and say does not mean that person agrees with you being discriminated against or harmed in any way.
Christ said He is the truth and the truth shall set you free. He loves everyone and counseled us to love even our enemies. So I feel confident that if what I say is true, it is not against love.
Please share your evidence that she has misreported or slandered or lied. I will be waiting. I have met her several times and followed her work and I have found her to be a person of integrity and a courageous journalist. In my religion, it is a sin to bear false witness against another person even if they are not part of my religion or ethnic community. How about yours? Or are we not allowed to ask?
That is absolutely not true. The cover up is over. Please look at the testimony of the survivors and the objective research that has taken place around this issue
Gender is a linguistic term. Biological sex is coded in every one of our cells. When I was growing up, the media said girls and boys could all do the same things. That was social engineering then. (See for example the CIA funded Ms. Foundation "Free to Be, You and Me.") Today young people are told if they like things the other sex normally likes, their "gender" does not match their "sex." Then there is a whole medical industry ready to profit from "fixing" your "mismatched" body. with experimental, oversold surgeries that create many complications and lifelong medication with unknown health effects. Try listening to perspectives from all sides, including people who have transitioned and then detransitioned, parents of transitioned kids and people who have been cancelled and shunned for bringing issues around this to light.
Speaking of colleges prioritizing investments in sports facilities, look no further than the reveal of recently passed SBCC bond issue plans to build their $104 million dollar new sports pavilion. This first SBCC bond mega-expenditure certainly got underplayed during the recent SBCC bond campaign brochures, sent daily to every voting household:
Article points out the highly tortured process required to build any government facilities. Creaming a great deal property tax dollars right off the top, before any promised bricks and mortar hit the ground.
That's the actual path to peace.
Yes it's appropriate, because Palestinians are not an ethnicity (they are ethnically Arab), they are a nationality tied to a specific geographic area. There is no double standard. "Gazans" were polling at 72% support for the attacks 2 months after the attacks took place:
https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/poll-shows-palestinians-back-oct-7-attack-israel-support-hamas-rises-2023-12-14/
Also lmao at "Christians" being in Gaza. There are maybe 1,000 and that's being generous:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_Christians
At this point I hand it over to Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe

Peace requires two willing parties.

You get that 90% of faculty identifying as far left from Jeffs Google?
Or have you spent any time on a college campus lately?
Or just a hunch to support your narrative?
I don't use Google. How many professors from UCSB voted for Trump. As a Google scholar you think you know much but you cannot see the nose on your face.
So how many voted for Trump? You have zero idea. I'm betting you haven't met a highschool teacher or professor since you failed english in the 70s? Do you even have kids? Or do you just make all this shit up?
Let's go to UCSB next week and set up a pro Trump, DOGE, Israel booth with merch and let's see how we are received. Do you really believe your own bullshit?
Jeff, you might not know Instagram. But the young Republicans are quite busy at UCSB.
https://www.instagram.com/ucsbrepublicans/?hl=en
Again, I'm betting you haven't been active on any campus for five decades. Zero current life experience in that realm. Just keep drinking your own kool-aid.
Seems like all you know is your made up bullshit. Like you're 90% of faculty are far left. Go outside your bubble sometime.
Why would you set up a pro Israel booth, as an American?
Ask any recent graduate of a secular or religious university some questions like “ who said ‘et tu Brute’ “ or name a few of the Bill of Rights. Even more obscure knowledge would be to list even 5 of the 10 commandments. What used to be evidence of having achieved a “liberal arts” education now is generally missing. Borrowing massive amounts of money to get a liberal miseducation seems like a poor investment. Going to trade school may have been a better choice. Have you hired a plumber lately?
My guess is few college graduates could pass the test required for citizenship.
Agree - but that should have been covered before 12th grade.
How interesting that you think it is Scott Ritter, Jeffrey Sachs and Col. MacGregor who are all wrong about Israel and not possibly YOU who is wrong.
Over? I am pretty sure I am just speaking with you, not over you. I have every right to do so.
Not in the US or Haiti, but in many other countries it did. Do you read much?
He was convicted in a court of law. There is no proof he was framed. A Broadway play celebrating the child rapist and murderer does not change the facts. The ADL slandering people and censoring people who report on this does not change the facts. Your baseless slanders will not coerce me into silence. And your overuse of that slander cheapens its meaning. You should reread the story of the boy who cried wolf.
I highly recommend you consider the research and experience of the victim's grand niece, also named Mary Phagen. She says the posthumous pardon was done in secret with no chance for her or other family members to weigh in and it did not address guilt or innocence.
https://rumble.com/v6skfpn-the-truth-about-the-murder-of-mary-phagan-fight-back-ep.-68.html
Claims from ethnocentric organizations tied up with organized crime like the ADL can be biased.
Last person to see her alive. She had to go to him to get paid. Two witnesses say he did it. History of unwanted sexual advances.
Suffice to say, we could turn Iran into a parking lot on a moments notice and they clearly know it.
https://www.azquotes.com/author/21034-Mayer_Amschel_Rothschild%C2%A0
I agree money is very important for controlling the US, but so are mindcontrol psyops like the Scofield Reference Bible manipulating otherwise well meaning Christians into supporting a genocide against fellow Christians in the Holy Land!
Julia, if Aimee is anti-Semitic, then I'm the Virgin Mary.
Even when it is verifiable and acting in some instances in the world?
WSJ column today reports how Democrats are spending their campaign dollars: DNC Vice Chairperson David Hogg raised $11 million dollars for his PAC. Of which, $266,000 was spent on on actual federal campaigns. The remaining $10.7 million dollars was spent on "operational expenses". Democrats manage their political campaigns the same way they manage our tax dollars - dollars for me and pennies for thee.
And this is where Republican donors see a good portion of their donations going.
https://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-legal-fees-pac-donor-money-personal-cases-2024-2
Sure, I can share that his poll numbers are tanking across the board.
https://deadline.com/2025/04/trump-fox-news-poll-1236376132/
Got a long way to go to reach Democrat bottom. Make your best tax and spend case for 2026. Until then, the media harpies matter little.
No he wouldn't. Pope Francis opposed genocide. And I'm only chiming in here because you are attacking me on that other thread.
Yes, but he wouldn't have called anti zionism anti semitism, since he too was anti zionist.
Keep researching.
