Every Democratic Voter has been asleep, brainwashed. They are like children believing the rhetoric of free pizza and no homework.

But worse yet is the Republican Voters are all in hiding. They are as much to blame. Too lazy to fill out the ballot sitting on their kitchen counter. Too wrapped up in themselves and their pity party to donate $20 to a local candidate who is brave enough to run against the demonic machine.

Republicans handed over the country because of laziness.

Democrats are just blind and uneducated not holding their representatives accountable for blowing up the budget, putting SB into millions of debt, not caring about children’s education, not caring about stores and local businesses, not caring about the humanitarian crisis of homelessness. But they will march & donate to Ukraine and Pro Terrorist countries defending the terrorists brutally killing, raping women & children in their own home.

God Bless us all.

The religious-conservatives get caught up in the most self-destructive cause, abortion. No one will win the presidency in this country if they're against abortion. Trump has handled it beautifully and it really annoys me when people say he's failed morally in that regard. If the religious Right really wanted to end abortion they would concentrate on having it made law that in order to have an abortion the woman must have an ultra sound. That is something that could get passed and that alone would end abortion as the rallying cry of women. Women who have ultra sounds do not then describe the baby within them as nothing. But the religious Right are just into morally haranguing people. They get off on it.

Polly, I agree with you about the abortion issue in that every year, we see the same rallying cry and the issue takes precedence over pretty much all others. That is a great idea you have about the ultra sound. It just might work.

Taxing unrealized capital gains will be devastating to investment markets and senior homeowners. We already have a tax on unrealized capital gains through the alternative minimum tax (AMT). In 2003 I was assessed AMT of 18% on unrealized capital gain in a privately held stock. According to the rules of AMT at the time, the revaluation of stock held in a non-publicly traded company was considered a tax preference item and subject to 18% AMT. While the AMT on unrealized capital gains only affected a small number of people, the Harris plan would extend the joy to just about every taxpayer. I believe that government has its eyes on the $7T held in 401k plans in America. It would be in harmony with the theme of taking all your money away to extend this to unrealized gains held in 401k plans.

Yet another scam run by the liberal elite. Increasing corporate taxes to 28% is insane, will result in higher prices to the consumer and result in a financial crisis. The notion of taxing unrealized gains is equally insane and the only ones who benefit will be the tax attorneys and accountants.

It should be of no surprise to anyone that Harris/Walz are clueless when it comes to the free market economy as they have NEVER worked in the private sector. Yes, BOTH morons have spent their entire careers on the government gravy train!

It would seem this entire scam is one of transformation of wealth, much like reparations. Giving one group wealth from another group for alleged misdeeds of persons who are no longer living…what could go wrong!

Just wait, carbon tax and subsequent credits are next. Yes, in their twisted bag of tricks, individuals and corporations will be taxed (and judged) on their respective carbon footprint.

Democrats, “Party of the People”. What a joke!

Democrats sent over $50 Billion to Ukraine top of the $380 billion total from NATO nations, approved $567 million to Tawain for potential defense and $8.7 Billion to Israel, $2.9 Billion to Afghanistan, $239 Million to the Taliban, $146 Million to Haiti since fiscal year 2023 alone, after the Haiti Earthquake $13.5 Billion was raised fir 12 million people in one of the poorest countries.

And how about here in America, Palestine Ohio? Lahaina Hawaii? How about here after the Thomas Fire and Debris Flow? How about after the Antifa and BLM riots that looted and burned businesses and homes?

After this Hurricane which is touted the largest, deadliest, most costly storm since 1800, where is FEMA? Where is our President? Where is Kamala?

Every time Americans are knocked by a disaster Democratic leadership is non existent. Perhaps God is trying to tell Americans that Democrat leadership is not interested in you the people, wake up.

Meanwhile Trump started a GoFund me page knowing that the Party of the People refuse to help American Citizens. There is apparently no money in helping your own country, your neighbors.

"Perhaps God is trying to tell Americans that Democrat leadership is not interested in you the people, wake up."

God has no concerns for secular American politics. He wants people to live in alignment with his will. Trump supports abortion, and J.D Vance his running mate who once desired a national abortion ban has "moderated" his beliefs to "leave it up to the states" showing how he like many conservatives prioritize wordly gain over divinely revealed moral truths and preserving tradition.

Conservatives have not conserved anything, not even the right to life of the unborn. Nor will they truly. Death to this lukewarmness, down with the secular republic and masonic constitution, idols of modern conservatives and American Christians. Long live a Catholic, moral, and monarchic order!

and I suggest a new title "The Devil is Here in CA & the US" and I quote from same>>

"Harris and her team, failing to provide any details on this, or any other part of her platform, recalls the words of the German-American architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969), whose words have become universal and undying: “The devil is in the details.” Those words were his way of warning that there are always hidden or mysterious elements in the details of any bill or agreement."

Taxing unrealized gains is a nonstarter. She would never get it through congress, even a democratic congress, because all those OLD congressmen have a lot of assets and they aren't going to tax themselves. What do you do when assets go down? Do you give them a rebate? As stated here what counts as an asset? This would be in court for years and go nowhere.

Before Trump the IRS took in about 3 trillion. During and towards the end of the Trump admin the tax revenue went up substantially. Why? Because Trump kept jobs here and even when you give businesses tax breaks more taxes are collected because the workers' pay taxes, especially the company management. Plus, Trump increased excise taxes on "some" things strategically which increased tax revenue + decrease our "trade deficit". See who pays taxes below and IRS revenue by year. If there is more tax revenue, then why the hell do we have a deficit every year? Give aways? Social programs? Evidently, the congressmen are so rich they never have to have a personal budget, so they don't understand budgeting at even a personal level, and we let them spend our tax money? The Harris tax laws have not been written yet so all information should be viewed as political campaign rhetoric. That a tax on unrealized capital gains is even suggested should be alarming to you. This is a tax on money that has not been made yet. It is a tax on potential earnings and if they turn to losses the tax will not be refunded. The AMT on unrealized capital gains based on revaluation of privately held stock is not refunded if the stock valuation is revised downward. To me, you support whatever your political party proposes as if that were the lens of truth and goodness. It would serve you better to consider each proposition on its own merits and come to your own conclusion without reference to a Google or Chat analysis which both are decidedly one-sided.

I don't understand your comment, John Thomas. There are many tax laws that have been written and others that are proposed as part of political campaigning. The Harris unrealized capital gain tax is a talking point designed to garner support from those who believe they are not affected by higher taxes. I know that you must realize this. Trump proposes tax cuts, and this would appeal to those who pay high taxes. I suppose it is all smoke and mirrors until it is enacted into law. The difference is that tax increases terrify me, and tax cuts give me joy. I would bet 25% of my unrealized capital gains that you will not be voting for the great and beautiful Donald J Trump.

Kamala is fitting president for a liberal nation that from it's very foundations rejected God. Her presidency would mark the culmination of that is wrong with the modern world, popular will, pragmatism, the deification of the individual and the rejection of motalit6 and social responsibilites in favor of (classical liberal) rights. Her running mate Tim Walz I belive tried to appeal to to libertarians by saying "Get government out lf our lives" and this is precisely the spirit of contemporary conservatism. They're so hyperfoucused on rights, on finances, on things of this world that don't matter that they ignore fundamental truths like the right to life (especially for the unborn).

So many conservatives and even Christians think the economy and immigration are the most important issues facing America, how wrong they are. If Trump wins the slaughter of the unborn continues and no meanignful chnage happens. The liberal order is preserved by him and the evils of modernism continue as people's finances improve, thus making them apathetic to moral issues.

Let Kamla win, if she bankrupts this nation so be it, a nation that doesn't care for the unborn and is so entrenched in sin is morally bankrupt, let their finances mirror this as well.
