If Hunter and, consequently, Joe are pardoned, there will be hell to pay for them to exist in our society. I like to believe, with the new administration, that somehow the Biden’s will pay for their crimes. Joe will then pardon the entire Biden family for that 20 year period (2014-2024) that he is currently asking for Hunter.

Likewise, is Putin a bad guy or have we been lied to about the Ukraine war? Is it not true that Nazi’s in east Ukraine had built a number of bio labs making weaponized biological weapons? Is it not true that Putin invaded the Ukraine to destroy the bio labs? What about Fauci? Didn’t Fauci fund the bio labs in the Ukraine? Similarly, didn’t the Ukraine and Zelensky launder billions sent by our own government? Maybe an audit will be done? So, what initially appears to be necessary support by the USA turns out to be fraudulent spending to enrich the Deep State will likely be exposed. In addition, if we give the Ukraine nuclear weapons and then if Zalensky manages to include the Ukraine with NATO, that would be enough to start a world war. We simply cannot allow the Ukraine to have NATO protection.

We will find out where the truth lies and who are the bad guys. 2025 and beyond will be very interesting.

I think Californians should write an open letter to Trump saying we do not support our governor's treasonous behavior, nor do we feel we should have to pay for it. We are the ones who will be harmed both physically by Newsom's sanctuary status for illegal criminals and financially by having to pay for it. I believe the Federal Government should intervene on our behalf as Americans being held captive under an insurrection lead by Newsom. Yes, an insurrection. A real one, not the phony one the Dems cooked up about Jan 6th.

The federal government can and will intervene, since immigration powers are reserved exclusively to the Executive Office at the federal level. This will roll out over time.

I would assume taking the paths of least resistance first is sound policy. Some states are asking for federal help. Success will build upon success. Until California voters demand a different course, I would assume the puts us near the bottom of the list for federal attention right now.

Newsom is just shadow dancing huff and puff for his taxpayer purchased constituency. And running out the clock on his term. Meanwhile getting The Wall built needs to get the most attention. Why deport when hostile invaders can leak back in a New York minute?

Polly, 9th Circuit Court timely ruling just came down: ...... The federal government has the authority to deport foreign nationals in the U.S. illegally over the objection of local authorities, a panel of three judges on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously ruled.

The 29-page ruling was written by Judge Daniel Bress, with judges Michael Hawkins and Richard Clinton concurring...............

More light-hearted stories lines that are fun to read, including ”Putin cares nothing for the hundreds of thousands of Russian lives lost so far in his quest to conquer Ukraine”, according to The Times & The Telegraph.

Would be nice to see a little deeper dive on the history of the Putin regime and NATO, including the US work in Ukraine to overthrow their democratically elected government in 2014. You might remember that the United States agreed with Russia to not expand NATO one nation to the east after the fall of the Berlin wall. How many 25+ countries have been added to NATO since that time. Over the past 20 years, Putin has gone to the European councils and governments, including the UN, complaining about issues with Ukraine. These include (US funded) biolabs, release of bio weapons, buildup of the army of Ukraine by NATO and the United States (army of some 400,000 men), including Nazi brigades, plus plus plus. Ukraine was Putin's red line and he made it known over these past decades.

Putin is Russia’s President. His job is to look after the Russian people. Put yourself in his shoes.

Unbeknown to most that follow the Legacy Media, Ukraine is a deep state playground, mainly run by the US deep state (including the CIA). Would be nice to have a different take on Ukraine than surface skating, as taken from legacy meeting media. Here's a link to a discussion regarding Ryan Routh (CIA contractor that attempted 2nd Trump assassination) and his connections to the CIA, Ukraine, State Department, etc.

Best to look at all sides of plays in action. Mike Benz, former State Department employee & now whistleblower…

Nice article.

The moment I saw Kameltoe on TV slurring all over, I knew she was stoned in a drunken stupor. It was so obvious. I bet for most of her life she has been pickled/stoned.

As for Putin, he hates Globalists. He respects Trump. Putin is not out to do Trump in. In fact they will work together to end the Globalists' reign over the world, and that is GREAT news.

And as to Christopher AWaray, he is a traitor along with ALL the Biden crime family with Obama. New charges for being Traitors should be leveled against them. No pardons will cover that crap pile up.

Yes, our Governor Gavin Newsom continues his “resistance “ against our newly elected president. Newsom has the audacity to ask California taxpayers for an additional $25 million to sabotage efforts to deport thousands of known, wanted criminals. Newsom is the ultimate “swamp creature” by virtue of being born into it! Yes, his father William, was a bag man for J. Paul Getty and related by marriage to Nancy Pelosi.

Hopefully, with the new political wave of MAGA, will come additional sunlight being cast on Newsom and his business practices. Hey, for starters how about a DOJ investigation into California Democrats spending $24 billion in tax dollars on homelessness? Follow the money, follow the connection to NGO’s.

To be a lawyer, one might say you have to lie at times for a guilty client. Or perhaps lie all the time if you can get away with it. Oh, other than Jimmy Carter (peanut farmer and Georgia Tech nuclear engineer), in my lifetime of recall, all the Dem Presidents were once lawyers! My case is closed. Geez, remember all the fuss about Billy Beer (Carter's brother)? Now we have a plethora of Dem criminals from one administration beyond the scope of all the Presidents prior, now that's a lot to fuss with. Newsom wants $25M to fight Trump? Newsom should ask Harris for some leftover change from her campaign. These people must have visited the money printing presses and were encouraged to see all the money printed for them to spend.

As a lawyer you are required to offer a zealous defense for your client. Not lie. Or else, one should never have taken the case. A zealous defense makes for a sounder verdict.

Agree. So many countries do have multiple parties and forced coalitions post-election. This current partisan duality in the US is no longer ideological, but now more entrenched insiders(D) versus everyone else who is expected to pay the insiders to operate against the taxpayers own self interest (R+I).

We do need a broader sense of representation than this current scheme as it stands today. And some forced coalitions to make the whole thing work with more responsiveness. What we don't need in the long run however is the volatility and instability that also comes with squabbling minority parties maintaining only fragile alliances.

Good civics challenge - pros and cons of our current system, as we near our 250th anniversary. What are we trying to fix and what risks come with any changes? Recent "election reform" in California left us with the laws of unintended consequences and now a one-party lock on the entire political process.

I like the cartoon pictures, especially the FBI depiction of shredding. Reminds me of the "investigator" next door here in Dalton, GA burning papers in a fire pit before trash day. There's a difference in my neighborhood; I can sense it. Including the return of the resident to her house across the street for the first time in months. She must've been told the "gig was up." In the FBI cartoon, was one of the file drawers labeled "Russell"? One thing I learned from the FBI is these guys "aren't the sharpest tack in the box." They can't stand being secretive because it's no fun, they much prefer to be more in your face. This is finally ending after three years of hell.

The pardon of Hunter Biden by our President, Joe Biden should not surprise anyone. After all, if Hunter would have been sent up the river, he would’ve spilled the beans on the rest of the family. The family business being of course, a confidence game of shacking down foreign governments and businesses wanting to do deals with the US Government. Sure, how else to Joe Biden avast millions in wealth and multiple luxurious mansions? Certainly, not from a paltry salary serving in the senate.

The investigation should continue and now focus on other syndicate members Valarie and Jim Biden, the siblings of the “big guy,” Joe.

Yes, the Biden crime family will go down in history as being one of the most corrupt and dishonest administrations in history and is emblematic of a Democratic crime syndicate which inhabits the massive swamp in Washington DC.

You get your turn again in 2026/28 with whatever message you want to sell voters at that time. And no, we can't all get along nor can we be a "unified" nation except in temporary moments of extreme peril. We are just too different.

Miss Bond, you are correct President Biden and his staff repeatedly said he would not pardon his son, that he would respect the sentence given. I believe that was his intent, but trump and the magas started spewing about revenge and retribution against anyone against trump. I believe that was why the President changed his mind. So thank trump for Hunter’s pardon.

Gene, I don't bash Democrats when I'm around Dem friends and family. I avoid politics. This is a forum for political discussion and debate, so I myself say things about Dems that I hope are taken in that context. They have nothing to do with liking people who I disagree with. I adored my mom and just tried to stay off politics. She was a really smart person. I thought her politics were dumb. She hated mine. A great instance of this was in the NYT around Thanksgiving. Maureen Dowd gave her column to her brother to write. He is a Trumpie. She is not. It's fun to read.
