What Happened to the Woke Agenda?

Nothing stirs up a liberal more than the truth. When faced with reality, blinders go on and the Left won’t make eye contact.

There’s still a disturbance in the force. It’s always been there but was suppressed when Donald Trump sucked the juice out of the Left’s light saber. Suddenly, DEI was vanquished. Climate change became an afterthought. Mutilating children didn’t sound so good anymore.

And men pretending to be women lost its luster.

Democrats have been scrambling to find purpose. The whole “We hate Trump” diatribe has become white noise billowing in cyber space.

Democrats have run away from their duties. Cursing up a storm to show how angry and tough they are. Just a note here: I’ve always been of the mind that if you can’t make your point without cursing, you don’t have a point to make.

Where did windmills and solar energy go? How come they’re no longer keying Tesla’s? The political flavor of the moment changes on a whim, and on the money.

From the ashes, literally, of California rises – albeit reluctantly – the Left’s possible savior to satisfy their cries of “We need to save democracy.” If in fact, the Democrat Party puts its support behind Gavin Newsom – one of America’s worst politicians (next to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris) – it will be digging deep into the muck of the California swamp.

Governor Newsom has been attempting to show he’s a tough guy as he positions himself for the Oval Office. It’s ironic how much he hates Trump and yet how much he’s trying to be like him. Newsom says he’s “fighting for democracy.”

The truth is, however, that “democracy” doesn’t exist in California. There’s nothing democratic about it. All the whining about Texas redistricting has been perfected years ago in California. Democrats have it down to a science. Hence, we’ve had a one-party state since forever. The proof is in the tapioca that socialism isn’t going over so well in Newsom Land.

California Democrats are hard at work again to further corrupt the state in their favor. On November 4, Newsom and company are happy to put up $200 million more of our tax dollars to remove even more Republicans from participating in California. You can bet false advertising, lying, cheating, gas lighting, and guilt, will explode to fool the electorate how gerrymandering the state even more is in everyone’s best interest.

Many voters in California never learn and will get suckered in.

Democrats have no shame. Among all the other businesses that have given up on California, another is Bed, Bath and Beyond, which has made it perfectly clear they will not have any stores in the floundering state, citing over-regulation and high taxes. The streets are still littered with homeless, but the Dems are willing to steal $200M to stay in power to bless Californians with more of the same corruption and do nothing for businesses.

There was a new report which said California now has the highest unemployment rate in the country. Okay, no big surprise that the golden state wins yet another one of the highest for something. California wins in almost all categories: poverty, gas, energy, worst schools, illegals, homeless, taxes, you name it; California is the leader.

Suffering the Consequences of a Newsom Presidency

Are Democrats so miserable and their utter lack of confidence so all-encompassing to even consider Newsom as a possible presidential candidate? Apparently so, as polls are showing the slick one is outpacing all other Democrat candidates.

It’s possible New York may be choosing a communist as mayor, and I hope they do. That’s the only way the ignorant will learn their lesson. Should Democrats entertain supporting Newsom – the most self-absorbed, destructive governor in all the land – and bring his ineptness to Washington, that would be a big wow.

Much of the country, and most of the world, looks to Newsom and California as a bunch of whackos. Only like Obama, a lot of smooth talking, idle promises, hand flailing and fake anger can convince uniformed voters that a guy like Newsom is cool. Another messiah has risen to save Democrats from the ravages of Trump stopping wars, lowering the national debt, being energy self-reliant, protecting children, and sending killers to their homelands.

Leaders are not made, they just are. Newsom, like his fellow California socialist, Kamala Harris, didn’t earn their posts based on job performance and skills. The posts were given to them.

California Democrats have never had a vested interest in their state. They don’t care about the people. It has and always will be about maintaining power and controlling the populace. Sorry, so sorry you have pay through the gas pump nozzle to fill your car or turn on your lights. Democrats lay claim to the environment as their highest priority but shirk forest management responsibilities, willing to watch wildfires contribute sometimes 300 times more CO2 than all human activities. Newsom and his ilk never have to answer for all their screwups.

There is so much wrong with California it’s easier to list what’s right: Nothing.

If Newsom becomes the hollow candidate Democrats rely on to save their party, best of luck. I can’t flippantly say that either. If – by some crazy chance – the guy was to win, we would suffer all over again like we did under Ole Joe. If you can’t cleanup your own backyard there’s no way it can be done if you buy a bigger yard.

It’s still early in the game and some Democrats and even the useless media are getting a touch of clarity. Trump won’t be running again. They’re going to have to remove their eggs from the Trump “hate basket” and come up with another idea.

They need to learn to smile, stop singing, and always being Debbie Downers.

I hope the Left has an epiphany and sees the truth and doesn’t make the rest of us suffer the consequences.
