How is it that settled “climate science” is settled along political lines? Just about every climate zealot I have encountered is also a confirmed Democrat progressive socialist self important sphincter. Rather than being enlightened, the sphincter class is driven by a need to conform to sphincter class identity which is animated by self loathing. I agree that they have much to self loath but never forget that the only thing they hate more than themselves is conservatives. As self loathers, it is proper to inflict self harm through climate policy driving energy prices higher and substituting good products for inferior products. This is a small price to pay for the warmth of collectivism so long as that warmth does not contribute to global warming.
The reason the enviros switch between no paper and no plastic is that they really would like to ban both, but that would be hard to sell. The enviros would like to ban both because they disdain humans and their desire to improve their lives. Animals and plants have no such desire. Berney
