Lots of money — of the illegal kind — has already been made/is already being made off Ukraine and has done nothing but harm to the Ukrainians. So, yes, I say make money, not war, just make it the kind that creates jobs for people instead of bullet holes.

That newsletter was so revealing and disconcerting, that I washed my vitamins down with bourbon before going to the gym. Yikes!

Again, Mr. Eringer (and "The Telegraph") have it wrong. On Ukraine/Russia War, both are batting .000! It's not Russia who is willing to fight until the last Ukrainian soldier dies - it's E.U. and N.A.T.O. who is exploiting a destitute, bankrupt and war-torn Ukraine in its illegitimate proxy war with Russia. It's immoral, among other things, to continue to bleed Ukrainian lives and property to prop up its own disingenuous geopolitical goals against a nation (Russia) who is in the cat-bird seat, if you gauge it by standards of realpolitik. There is no way Russia is going to "lose" this struggle that is paramount to its very existence. The outcome of this war will be no different two years from now, or five years from now, than it will be if genuine, final peace talks commence next week in Zurich. The big difference will be this - how much of Ukraine will be left when peace is finally declared? E.U. and N.A.T.O. is all gas and hot-air. Polls say only 16% of young Germans would fight to protect their homeland. Imagine what the percentage would be for boots-on-the-ground in Ukraine to defend its (Ukraine's) borders? Peace now - let the chips fall where they may. In Peoria, IL, they couldn't care one way or the other.

“It’s not Russia who is willing to fight until the last Ukrainian soldier dies - it's E.U. and N.A.T.O. who is exploiting a destitute, bankrupt and war-torn Ukraine in its illegitimate proxy war with Russia.” — exactly right DM…

sad that so many warmongers post propaganda about the NATO/EU/US/Russia proxy quagmire in Ukraine, refusing to speak about the profit driven war machine & why we are so often dragged into these never ending wars…

Q: Why do we have wars? A: BECAUSE WE ARE RULED BY AN ELITE GROUP OF PSYCHOPATHS WHO OWN THE BANKS THAT CONTROL THE GOVERNMENTS AND MEDIA. THEY FUND BOTH SIDES OF WAR FOR PROFIT AND THEY MANUFACTURE THE CONSENT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE PROPAGANDA OF THE MEDIA.

PS…What if China, Russia, and others are coordinating w/ POTUS to eliminate the NWO?

Putin continues to play trump, even trumps administration gives Putin tips on what strings to pull.

It's sickening to know modernist leaders like Putin are willing to wage war against Eastern Christias for so long soley material and worldly gains. Any excuse over security is hollow, nuclear weapons could annihilate all of Russia from thousands of miles away, there's no nesd to have a border with Russia to destroy it if one so desired.

It doesn't help that clerics like Patriarch Kiril pervert the gospel to promote this slaughter, mobilizing the rhetoric of rightists to fool people into thinking the war is a noble crusade against "Satanism." What a joke, and it's ironic he speaks of a "west that abandoned the faith" [true - Westphalia and the Constitutionalist/Liberal Revolutions that would follow, as well as the modernization of nations] while his own Church is subordinate, not supreme, a pawn of the state. Would never be me as an Ultramontanist.

It's hard to know where to begin: "...Putin...willing to wage war against Eastern Christians...". Putin is a baptized, practicing member of the Russian Orthodox Church, in a nation where religious observance is now encouraged and definitely on the rebound. Putin's counterpart in Ukraine is a non-observant Jew who is in the 11th year of his 4-year term, and who is on record closing down Orthodox churches who he claims are ideologically aligned with Russia, and arresting its priests. As for the Patriarch "perverting the Gospel", Russian leaders have traditionally blessed Russian troops going off into battle. This goes back hundreds of years. Stalin warded off the Nazi armies by easing his vice-grip on religion 84 years ago. Presumably, Russian priests blessed Red Army soldiers and their equipment as they fought to preserve Mother Russia from the German barbarians. It's possible this religious ritual may've placated those such as TheotokosAppreciator.

I'd suggest you move to Moscow since you seem to love the leader so much. I only suggest that, since you suggested I move to Stockholm after I merely commented on some of the inaccuracies in your last essay here, when you wrote that Sweden was one of the most violent countries in the world, you should reconsider your stance.

Very entertaining piece, Robert.

When the Soviet Union broke apart in 1991, NATO had 16 member states. Seemed like a good idea at the time for it to dissolve but TPTB went the other direction and now NATO is up to 32 member states. Latvia, Estonia and yes recently accepted Finland are directly on Russia’s border. Regular war games are conducted in the Black Sea, right off the Crimean coast. So who is the aggressor over there?

Only one answer - Putin's got to go - one way or _the other_ (my preference.)

Thank you for your eye-opening information and sense of humor. I will read more about the

people behind our elected leaders, and why things are not getting done.
