Time Again To Pay Your “Fair” Share

I was trying to hold back my gag reflexes as I was writing checks to the government. Giving them my money in the form of taxes. Why am I even still paying them?

The story of Zorro helping the oppressed in early California, or Robin Hood stealing from the rich to give to the poor were both based upon the peasants, us, paying too much tax. Something familiar about that.

Annually, trillions of dollars flow through the hands of the United States government. All the while we accept, assume, the money will be used wisely to help the country in myriad ways.

In 2025 DOGE confirmed what most of us already knew, the government was ripping us off big time. I wish DOGE never slowed down but it still exposed enough of the complete and utter waste and fraud of our government run amok. Thankfully Trump hasn’t given up and made VP Vance a fraud czar to keep sniffing for thieves.

The truth is that the government cannot oversee our money.

It took a 23-year-old kid to expose the fact that foreigners were stealing tax dollars at will, revealing non-citizens cost taxpayers billions. That same kid has forced the crooks of California to act in the most corrupt state in the country.

There is no real way we’ll ever uncover every bit of corruption, but we need to be relentless in purging as much of it as we can.

Where Our Taxes Go

This first one is hard to accept; to service our national $39 trillion debt. Followed by Social Security, Medicare, a host of other health care programs, national defense, Veterans benefits, “safety net” programs (another way of saying paying people who don’t work), education, infrastructure, and of course all the overpaid and over-staffed government salaries, pensions, and benefits.

So, is there anything on that list you can point to that the government is running well and/or has not driven the programs into the ground? The only reason they’re still operating is they can keep sucking the financial blood of Americans. Why don’t the sheeple and frolicking frogs in the streets march for something useful?

The government’s “solution” for its ineptness is always more money. And more money means more taxes. It never stops. Have you ever heard of a government program that took it upon itself to say it was going to cut out waste, streamline and become efficient? It never occurs to government to fix itself. Why should it? There’s plenty of money, and if not, they can simply print more of it.
