Why do some human beings believe so much of what they read and hear, while others question everything?
There are outliers who create conspiracies around every event.
But they don’t count.
Although they are sometimes right.
For example: During the massive Covid debacle, for reasons still not really understood, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and of course, China, kept pumping the notion that some bat or pangolin was the cause of the virus. Despite their attempts at deception, numerous credible reports – including one from a Chinese scientist who worked there – offered plenty of documented evidence that Covid-19 came from the Wuhan lab. Even common sense said it came from the lab, but in a “Cover Your Ass” attempt, millions were brainwashed because it fit a liberal political narrative, not a logical one.
Another great brainwashing event was the “Russian Collusion” fabrication about Donald Trump. Again, it was common-sense and paying attention to details that spoke of a fraud. Any person who thought for themselves could see through a cock-and-bull “collusion” story so flimsy the media required spit buckets to catch the drool.
The haters were unable to contain their excitement that “collusion” was going to be the knife to end the presidency of Donald Trump. Again, lemmings unable to think for themselves absorbed all the propaganda pummeled into their heads. They so badly wanted to believe the Russia fiction that it took six months and $40 million to illustrate it was a hoax. And yet there remain those severely infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) who still don’t accept the conclusion.
I will repeat as I’ve done many times; We can’t fix stupid.
Another black mark that defined the American landscape was the accidental death of career criminal George Floyd, who was high on drugs the day of the event. Never mind that he was screaming “I can’t breathe” while seated in a squad car, well before officer Derek Chauvin held him to the ground. The unfortunate outcome was not a murder, but the media and the racists managed to make it one.
The ensuing “summer of love” burned our country and lifted “Black Lives Matter” from the ashes to brainwash many into a frenzy of hate. Today, the battle cry of “I can’t breathe” is a frequently used tactic. We’re still suffering from the fiasco, and it sent America back to the 60s, right where the left and racist antagonists want us to be. Corporate America buckled. “White guilt” became a thing, and cancel culture shut everyone up who didn’t go along.
And it also gave racists and haters a reason to kill police.
I rarely respond to crazy comments on Facebook, but sometimes I just can’t believe what I’m reading. I find myself tossing a rebuttal snippet here and there, which launches return fire ten-fold because the left cannot accept someone with another point of view.
One of those examples is the Donald Trump trial winding down concerning an alleged affair with a woman whose career consists of having sex on screen with strangers for money. They believe that this woman scorned is what should lock the former president in in a cell for a long time.
Those of us who think for ourselves are waiting to discover what the actual crime Mr. Trump is accused of committing, and not whether Stormy Daniels (pretty cool stage name, you’ve got to admit) passed out over the fear of having sex with him. That’s her job. But the media and those inflicted with the incurable TDS-2024, are praying, wishing, hoping this will be the one. This trial will finally put an end to the Trumpster. Then, finally, mercifully, they can then get on with their lives of just hating everything else. However, as we can see – and it’s making the left apoplectic – Trump has grown even more popular.
And why is that?
Because not all Americans are stupid.
Think! Educate! Listen! Learn!
Don’t allow a mash of nonsense to swirl around in your head and cause you so much confusion.
I too wish we could stop all the craziness and focus on things like preventing drugs from killing our kids, reducing the growing number of homeless, educating our children properly with real history, reducing mortgage interest rates to give people a chance to buy a home, and not having to pay $100 for a bag of groceries or take out a loan to fill your car with gasoline. America is plagued with way too many real problems than forced-to-believe hysteria over which we have no control.
We waste way too much time making stuff up while reality is staring us in the face.
There are no problems.
Only solutions.
Let’s start working on those.
I am an 85 year old who has been through many conflicts in life....but have never before seen such dis-array, confusion, and outright hatred around our country. Any person that would say that your article "Time to use your brain" is nonsense ...and not well reasoned ...exemplifies the decline of common sense. As the Roman Empire slowly faded away from internal decay....our modern society seems to be on a fast track , heading in the same direction. And I say...God help us!
Bravo! Those who persist in the belief in the natural origins of the Covid virus, the Clinton paid for Russia hoax, the murder of George Floyd and other Democrat delusions, suffer from what my father called “ indomitable ignorance.” I call it willful blindness. It reflects loyalty to an evil ideology and fantasy thinking. We live in a world where a battle is raging between good and evil, God and Satan. To quote my new friend, General Michael Flynn, on his opinion on the book of Revelation, “ things are bad now, they are going to get worse. God wins!”
