Re Water issue: Water will not reach Southern CA. It was a political stunt.

From NYT:

“ Trump administration officials began releasing significant amounts of water from two dams in California’s Central Valley on Friday in a move that seemed intended to make a political point as President Trump continued to falsely blame the Los Angeles wildfires on water policies in the Democratic-run state.

The releases, as ordered, have sent water toward low-lying land in the Central Valley, and none of it will reach Southern California, water experts said. Nonetheless, President Trump said on Friday that the same action would have prevented the Los Angeles wildfires on the other side of mountain ranges over which that water has no way of traveling.”

Water is fungible. What goes somewhere, means other water can be available someplace else.

I'm not sure it's so fungible with the Central Valley farms who might need the water that was released in the middle of winter need it this summer if we don't get more rain/snowpack. Hopefully this week's storms will help with that.

Lots of new snow pack from recent rains--money in the water bank.

I just hope it went to good use for winter crops other than floating a showboat.

Replenishing ground water is a decent goal too.

Elaine, You’re so right, the common sense stable genius gave no thought to how to get that water to Southern California, it was just a political stunt and he pretty well flooded some of those fields in the central valley, but of course now he can put on a press conference and say how he saved California.

Thanks Brent for taking the secretive veil off of Davos. I wasn’t aware of the history there. Certainly, much of what goes on there is above the average person’s head. Interesting that Larry Fink and the other heavy hitters combined wealth is more than many countries entire economies. So in essence, between Davos and Park City, decisions made there controls the entire world. Got it, very sobering. Yes, the tiny country of Switzerland always seems to manage a seat at the table of world power. They managed to stay out of the atrocities of WW II and then financed the world and continue to do so, money laundering and all.

Bravo to Trump for telling the WEE….WTF! I loved watching the expressions on Klaus Schwab’s face as Trump was reading him the riot act. Talk about getting your ass handed to you by the boss in front of the entire world!

Have the troops helped get water to LA yet? Any details on how this will be done - or where the water will go when it gets down here?

The younger generations ...really, really don't want it? Or do they even care since their worlds now are so exposed online anyway.

It's strange that these people have a huge problem with the WEF, but seemingly no problem at all with aipac.

Thank you, Brent for an excellent look at WEF. But either I don't understand your summation. What has struck me about Davos is it has been functioning on storytelling in the service of globalization and Blackrock, telling lies to maintain power. Far from being a Storyteller Trump marched in and said what a bunch of hooey crap you guys are dining on. Now, here's how it's going down. Bravo Trump, cut through the shit America First - I see no Storytelling in that, just how it is from now on, WEF.

Environment hypocrisy seems to be the one common story line now coming out of Davos.

When I read Anthony Sacramucci's party was the coveted go-to after party invitation at Davos, that was as much I needed to know about WEF's current state of affairs and clout. Is not Klaus Schwab now out a CEO, over some past sexual indiscretions?

For a good background history on intentional banking and finance today, I recommend the book "The Tower of Basel". This easy to read book takes one through from the very beginnings staring with the post WWI Bank for International Settlements (BIS) set to handle German WWI reparations payments to France.

The Bank is headquartered in Basel Switzerland and resides in a Tower where the secretive 7th floor dining room is also a highly coveted invitation. Even though BIS was created to handle German WWI reparations, it moved on to coordinate various national banks financing of Nazi Germany's aggression in Europe, to today's polished intentions dedicated to be a think tank in support economic neutrality and stable global markets.

I read this "Story" by Brent Zepke. Esq titled "Trumps Storytelling Davos"

I recommend a new title "Fairly-Land California Turkeys, Like Davos Has Serious Problems"

Mr. Zepke steps us down and around through the Elite Haunts at Park City Utah Ski Resort

then to Ski Resort at Sundance and Davos. I trained with the University of Utah SKI TEAM at Snowbird and we also trained with the US SKI Team at Park City in the 70's. Both SKI Resorts became well-known for the ELITES, many from California, who "Hung-Out" Drank, Drugged and basically debauched. The ELITES first showed up on Thanksgiving. We called these ELITES TURKEYS.

I quote from Mr. Zepke "At Davos, "From January 20-24 ,the President and CEO of WEF, Berge Brenda, and 3,000 participants, including 50 heads of state, had selected an agenda that featured such topics as “forging innovative partnerships ... " Mr. Zepke you forgot the word possible Criminal Partnerships. Sound familiar it should.

Ok Lets Talk TURKEY. Davos, Washington, Park City and Snowbird have the same ELITE TURKEYS as

Santa Barbara. Trump is cleaning out the AG's Office, HHS, Many other Fed Agencies and the FBI.

What will be Trumps New Story?

Will arrests of the ELITE TURKEYS follow in Washinton and how about Santa Barbara?

I was faculty at the first three Davos European Management Symposia (1971-2-3). Am fairly familiar with its trajectory since genesis. Klaus Schwab was hired to start and promote the use of the Kongess Halle, the concrete bunker built to revive Davos Dorf and Davos Platz. The area, originally a center for people with respiratory issues, was in decline nd the idea of a convention center was to rekindle it. Klaus, a relatively minor ptof of a minor university, did a good job getting the first EMS off the ground. He invited a serries of luminaries, including Peter Drucker, Herman Khan, Gov. Romney, et al. and offered the most advanced management thinking methodologies to attendees. It went well and by the third time it became obvious that many participants were really there to meet one another and ski. That obviated the need for faculties, and costs. He started inviting political figures and eventually went more and more to Saint-Simonianism. Megalomania took over and Klaus began to dictate to the world how it should gho forward. Not nly should the "cognoscienti" rule the world but Klaus Schwab could be (easily) enticed to lead them.
