Twilight Zone Drone! Trump's Backbone! Wray's Departure Sown! NY DA Thrown!
by Robert Eringer
“Drones, planes, or UFOs? Americans abuzz over mysterious New Jersey sightings” (AP)
This is a replay of a 1960 episode from The Twilight Zone called “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street.”
One possible purpose of this likely is a magician’s sleight of hand to divert our attention from something more sinister going down.
Don’t join the herd of sheeple reaching for pitchforks.
The Monsters are Due on Maple Street
“How Trump is changing the world without lifting a finger” (The Telegraph)
It appears Donald Trump, simply as president-elect, has already made America great again.
Message to NATO: Pay up.
Message to Ukraine’s Zelensky: Concessions for peace.
Message to Putin: Back off.
Message to Hamas: Release hostages or “hell to pay.”
Message to Iran: Behave yourself “or anything can happen.”
Message to Mexico, Canada, and China: Play ball or expect tariffs.
They’re all ears—and caving accordingly.
“Only Six Percent of Federal Workers Show Up in Person Every Day” (Newsmax)
Which means we could probably lose 94% of federal workers and never miss a one. (I Assume that works for state and city works too.)
“Biden Education Department Issued Over $1 Billion in DEI Grants” (Accuracy in Academia)
Jeez, you have to wonder where all that moolah went.
Even if it got to the “right” pockets, which I doubt, this was another Biden boondoggle to frivolously spend your money on something so fundamentally flawed when the national debt is now over $36.17 trillion.
“FBI Director Christopher Wray to Resign Before Trump Takes Office” (Washington Post)
Widespread news reports about Wray’s intended resignation came soon after a much less reported news item from two days earlier…
“Incoming Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley blasts FBI Director Christopher Wray” (USA Today)
The blast was an 11-page letter to Wray cataloging his numerous failures as director.
Few in our attention-deficit culture have the patience to read 11 pages, so I’ll shortcut by highlighting a few reasons Wray deserves a hasty departure by choice or a kick in the ass.
— Wray hindered congressional oversight. Writes Grassley, “Promises made, promises broken, has become a recurrent theme under your leadership.”
— Wray Failed to investigate bribery accusations against Joe Biden when he was VP. “The FBI under your watch had possession of incriminating information against President Biden for three years but did nothing to investigate it.”
Instead… “30 armed agents entered the home of a former president of the United States, with full authorization to use lethal force if needed to execute its warrant, and even searched the former First Lady’s clothing drawers.
“No such raid occurred on the home of President Biden, even though his records were … stored at his home in a garage next to his Corvette, others stored at the Penn Biden Center, and that still more classified records were found by his attorneys in the days following his initial admission that he absconded with highly classified documents that dated to over a period of decades.”
Thereafter… “The FBI under your lack of leadership also served as an accomplice to the Democrats’ false information campaign designed to undermine my investigation of alleged Biden-family corruption.”
The letter continues with Wray’s failure to protect whistleblowers, as promised; on Wray’s obstruction of Congressional requests; and how Wray “prevented the truth on some issues from ever reaching the American people.”
Grassley’s letter concludes… “It’s time for you and your deputy [Paul Abbate] to move on to the next chapter in your lives.”
Wray announced a move to the next chapter of his life two days later.
“Antony Blinken admits he and Biden bear some responsibility for Afghanistan disaster” (NY Post)
Ya think?
Blinken blatantly defied multiple Congressional subpoenas to give answers on this question before — yet another piece of Biden lawlessness that went uncriticized by our journalistic defenders of democracy.
“Daniel Penny acquitted of criminally negligent homicide after more serious manslaughter charge was dismissed” (CNN)
The mood of the country has finally come to its senses—extending even to NYC juries.
We are no longer pro-criminal, anti-victim.
If someone goes on a violent rampage in public threatening to randomly kill another, that someone may end up dead. And that’s life.
Only Daniel Penny had the balls to risk life and liberty by standing up that day for others. He should be awarded a medal.
Looks like he got something even better when…
“Daniel Penny to be JD Vance's guest at this weekend's Army-Navy game” (NBC News)
"Daniel’s a good guy, and New York’s mob district attorney tried to ruin his life for having a backbone," Vance wrote in a post on X.
Boo NY’s mob DA. Well done JD.
And on the left coast…
“Hollywood’s great unwokening has been unleashed” (The Telegraph)
Even in Tinseltown, the woke joke is broke.
As for the rest of Cali…
“Rural towns push to divorce from big cities, form new conservative state” (Fox News)
This is what California would look like if split into two states based on where “progressive” liberals and conservatives reside: Orange is Old California. Red is New California.
“Harris debates her future: A run for California governor that would take 2028 off the table” (CNN)
The Kameleon’s new stock phrase (replacing “I find joy...”) is “I’m not going quietly into the night.”
Her stance is the very definition of what it’s like to live in an ivory tower.
Sorry to break it to you, sister, but night has already claimed you.
“The Luigi Mangione obsession reveals a ‘dangerous’ trend that threatens our world” (Metro)
If/when the middle-class is decimated (as “progressive” New Dems desire) and we evolve into a greater divide between the ultra-wealthy and the working class (lords & serfs), expect to see more of this.
Ruling elites seem to learn nothing from history, which, despite their ignorance,
will repeat itself.
Putting too much moolah in the hands of so few while rampant inflation renders it difficult for most people to support their families is a prescription down the road for revolution and the guillotine.
It’s not just me thinking these thoughts…
“The pitchforks are here: Populist rage and the rise of moral absolutism” (The Hill)
In 2014, billionaire Nick Hanauer warned in Politico that “The Pitchforks Are Coming … For Us Plutocrats.” He argued that extreme inequality inevitably leads to revolution, comparing it to bankruptcy — it happens slowly, then all at once. A single act of violence, he cautioned, could ignite years of simmering frustration into an inferno of uncontrolled fury.
The wealthiest one percent now hold more wealth than the bottom 90 percent combined, while wages for the average worker have stagnated for decades.
“King is ‘fighting cancer battle very hard’, Prince tells Trump” (The Telegraph)
I do not subscribe to a death pool, nor do I gamble. But if I were forced to place a bet on the health of King Charles, I would sadly wager that by this time next year Britannia will be ruled by King William V.
Reading between the lines, my assumption is that the current king’s cancer is either extremely aggressive or was diagnosed at an advance stage in a part of his anatomy where treatment options are limited.
“It’s Time for Harvard Students To Pick Up a Book” (Harvard Crimson)
It’s entirely conceivable that students could graduate Harvard College without having read a book of fiction in full.
This explains, at least in part, why current generation Ivy Leaguers protest situations about which they have little to no understanding.
“Bill Shatner and Bill Maher discuss doing mushrooms in Amsterdam”
Turns out, outer space was not limited to Star Trek for its leading actor.
“Whoopi Goldberg rails against RFK Jr for ‘fat shaming’” (The Telegraph)
RFK Jr. is on the right track, educating Americans on how national eating habits (promoted by corrupt government “health” agencies) have led to large-scale obesity.
Whoopi, on the other cheek, continues to unleash flatus.
And finally, the latest on Elle De G…
“Why Ellen DeGeneres was left fighting for marriage with Portia de Rossi and seeking a 'fresh start' in the UK” (Daily Mail)
“You are the best thing that ever happened in my life,” she wrote on Instagram of Portia.
(She couldn’t have kept this personal? No, the subtext to everyone else: I have isolated myself in the Cotswolds… but don’t stop paying attention to me!)
Mr. Eringer 1/2 of this could be re-titled and the truth shall set you free and it would still be a great read.
It is clear outside of the government centers where votes are bought with retirement and automatic pay raises the general population has had it with dictatorship government. In the process the crushing of rational living instead of "Stack'm & Pack'm" skinnier box is being rejected on such a large basis it is amazing.
Sacramento take heed ...... the people have spoken.
Regarding Harris, I watched a Indian sponsored Cultural/News show where she was talking about how great it is to be Indian by culture. It was walking with Grandpa and being to only one allowed. It was a microcosm of why she lost.
Great piece. Loved the read.
SUCH A FUN READ!
