Excellent article full of truths about the corrupt Dems in control. Anyone that votes for Dems or Repukes should be in jail or worse with these criminals.
Nice write-up ,Robert. We are living in some insane times with a rapid news cycle. Fortunately, most of the "SB Current" readers are skilled and adept at sifting through the mis/disinformation put out by the corporate/legacy media. Keep up the great work.
On a side note (for what it's worth), I've heard from a few "sources" in the SY Valley the Biden's might be "gifted" the property. If true, it would be rather apropos given their years of grifting off the American Taxpayers.
Thank you, Robert. The bright side of the Bidens possibly having a place in Santa Ynez is that Santa Barbara County government constantly wants more money. I see it owned by one of the Bidens' money laundering “trusts” as win-win for us taxpayers. Salud, Laura, Joan and Kristen can finally have real jobs and take over from Hunter as the bag people for the Bidens and stop harassing us taxpayers.
Also, I've gotten more texts and emails from friends who loved it than anything during this year. Did you know Israel killed many of their own people that day due to invoking the Hannibal directive? And that their continues to be no evidence of sexual assaults or beheadings on the part of Hamas? Those claims ere all based on no evidence. Remember how the Iraqi babies were *not* actually tossed out of incubators in Kuwait before the first Gulf War? And how the WMD claim actually was not based on evidence for the 2nd? And MIT Prof. Ted Postol debunked claims about Syrian Leader Assad carrying out a gas attack? Please look carefully into the reporting on Oct. 7 to see how once again, the American people, with our treasure and blood and being lured into fighting Israel's enemies through deception. For Christians among us, we are called to be innocent as doves and wise as serpents. Listen carefully to Trump and Vance. They want to pull away from Ukraine to focus on Iran for Israel. Trump took Israeli Miriam Adelson's $100 million. He knows how the game is played. He is also willing to crack down on free speech on college campuses for Israel, but it ill be broadened to other forms of "hate" and "misinformation." We will be in war either way and until we can improve the culture enough from the ground up to make it impossible for leaders to sell out the American people to foreign interests or dangerous corporate interests. Russell Brand didn't say "go get them" to the genocidal occupying power of Israel the way Jordan Peterson did after uncritically swallowed a bunch of lies on Oct.7, 2023. Peterson is not a Christian and he is a weak man. Russell is rebuilding from a life of trauma and debauchery, but he seems to have a good heart and some courage. I watch his show.
I am a Catholic like Andrew Napolitano who I find to be a moral, sincere person with a deep respect for the constitution. https://youtu.be/TIWd4bBC_uk
Many protestants don't understand that the foundation of their religion is Catholic teaching and philosophy. One of our founders said our system of government as only fit for a moral people. At the time of the founding our our country, our states ere all Christian societies. The people So, what morals are needed to have a functioning democracy? It should be wrong to lie, especially when it comes to bearing false witness as the war mongers always do. It should be wrong to kill outside of very imminent self defense conditions. It should be wrong to steal.
As a Catholic, I am somewhat in agreement with your views. However, the reality is the Catholic Church is complaisant if not directly responsible for the human disaster in Central and South America. Catholic Charities specifically, has given a green light for millions to enter our country illegally. Clearly, NOT what I want done with my weekly offering!
And the Catholic Church charities, as a Mensa brainiac friend Pam researched, has received over a billion dollars from the Feds in recent years. My friend Pam after her writing about 7 pages on charities laundering money said she'll never give money to a charity again. She also reported: For Tax Year 2019, the IRS reported public charities totaled $4.8 trillion in assets and $2.4 trillion in revenue, a 12-percent increase in assets over the previous year, but only a 5-percent increase in revenue over that year. It seems the charities are giving more money to themselves than to those in need.
Pam is a pro-Trumper and a retired CPA executive from B of A. She wrote a book on Type 2 Diabetes, too. She once worked for a blood doctor as a lab technician. I joke about her claim to fame is drawing blood from Peter Falk, the actor.
My friend Pam is also an enrolled agent for the IRS. An enrolled agent has virtually unlimited practice rights, which means there are no restrictions to the types of tax matters they can manage and which type of taxpayers they are allowed to serve. In the event of an IRS letter or IRS examination, an enrolled agent can also represent tax clients before any type of IRS office. Pam was doing this for free to those that couldn't afford a tax preparer.
Me neither. The solution to problems within the Church is to work to raise awareness and target your Church giving to things you do agree with happening within the Church. But also speak up so that there can be pressure to make change. Respectfully and charitably raise these concerns within the Church. There will always be problems within the Church and within any society because we humans are fallen. But there is a best way to work to fix them and we should work to do that whenever we can. This Catholic Charities issue was discussed on this podcast: https://rumble.com/v5eu8r9-emj-live-87-is-anti-semitism-un-american.html (time stamp 1 hr 18 mins.)
Aimee, while I can agree with you on the issue of Israel and Palestine and I understand your commitment to your faith, I think that the emphasis of our political struggles should not be whether you are a Christian, Jew,, Muslim or any other religious group but on the moral standard of your actions. There is and always has been much disparity among the Christian faith (Catholic and Protestant in Ireland for an example) and what a tragedy so many people fall into the trap of fighting over to what in my mind are mere details of custom sometimes rather than merits of a good soul as I was taught in Sunday school The Christian teachings should be a good moral compass to our society without a "them or us" dogma attached. I also think that immigrants of different faiths coming here should recognize that America was founded on Christian beliefs and be comfortable with our traditional customs and if not, then perhaps they find a better home to go to.
America was not founded on Christian beliefs. Not historical ones anyways. "Rights" and "freedoms" as understood under a classical liberal framework are purely secular and liberal contructs. Popular will places man above God, which is obviously wrong from a Christian perspective.
I respect your faith, and appreciate you explaining it. But I find the attitude of Catholics is too much like that of political parties, you either belong to the right team and then you're a moral person or you don't and you're lost. This is why I left the Catholic Church at 12.
That hasn't been my experience and I think we undervalue the importance of working to remain in one faith community in the wake of the protestant reformation. (Luther raised many valuable points, but his method was not the correct one. He enabled division, theft and chaos with his means. We need to seek to use means that are without sin if we hope to reach a holier place.) The largest Church in the US is the Catholic Church. This is one important lesson. All of us who worship Christ are one in the body of Christ and we should work to be one community. Same for our country. We are one country and we need to live in a way that respects the sacred humanity of every other fellow citizen, fellow community member. And while I do believe there is good evidence that people can follow Christ outside of the Apostolic Catholic Church (Roman or Orthodox). I submit it is much easier to remain close to God and Christ with the support of the sacraments that Christ laid out for us in the Gospels. But in any case, once people thought they could start a new Church, that led to endless variations and factions and weakened us for materialism, hedonism and even sadly and hard to believe, Satanism as we saw at the Olympics. I am not saying Americans need to all be Catholic, but I am saying like even Jordan Peterson said, we can't flourish if we are no longer being nurtured by the source of the values that our society is based on. All Americans, even non-Christians, need to understand American values in light of their source in Christendom and brought forth most effectively in Catholic societies. We turn our back on our Catholic heritage at our own peril. I recommend the work of E Michael Jones as Candace Owen's did recently to begin exploring why this is important. Start with his book "Libido Dominandi: Sexual Liberation and Social Control" to see how free love and porn were pushed to weaken society and make us easier for elites to manipulate, for example. (His books are banned by Amazon's Jeff Bezos, so go to Fidelity Press directly.) I also recommend Rodney Stark's "Bearing False Witness: Debunking Centuries of Anti-Catholic History for some commonly held distortions in our society. Stark is not a Catholic but claims to be driven by a respect for historical accuracy. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/26778184-bearing-false-witness Anyhow, obviously space here does not permit a thorough discussion, but I hope this is enough to get you a tiny bit curious to explore further.
Thank you, Aimee. I am a fan of Candace Owens and have read E Michael Jones and knew about the disgusting banning by Bezos. I've read a great deal of Catholic history. I'm not anti-Catholic, it just does not speak to me as organized religion. I really thank you for sharing your faith, but I resent you telling me I need to get on board with this. You don't know me or what kind of person I am. I resent you questioning my faith, because my faith in a higher power is so strong I don't need to proselytize and call anyone else a sinner.
Before you take offense, please tell me where I called you a sinner or told you what religion to join. I was simply asking you to consider other aspects of the impact of the Catholic Church in response to your assessment as a 12 y.o. You don't need to be Catholic, as I already said. But you might want to have a deeper understanding of the wisdom and protection it offers to a society ruled by a representative constitutional government such as ours that depends on us citizens being a moral people. That is my appeal, and you are free to say no. But I see no reason why you need to be upset about it. We can simply agree to disagree. My claim is that here in the US we need some collective, shared morality every bit as much as we need a collective shared language to be able to function as a society. I think weaponized migration has demonstrated this to us quite clearly. Not everyone has to hold those beliefs and belief cannot be compelled, but we do need some dominant moral operating system. Protestantism keeps splintering into smaller and smaller sects and is more easily manipulated into Satanic heresies like "Christian Zionism" (an oxymoron if ever there as one.) If it isn't Roman Catholicism, what will it be? Whatever Hollywood programs us with? Like hedonism and vengeance and nihilism? What the woke universities are pushing? DEI and Marxism? As E. Michael Jones says, Nature abhors a vacuum. If we make no effort to adopt and promote a value system, we will be left with the ones the elites who want to enslave us program us and our children to have. Family doesn't matter? Abort the unborn? Kill the old or weak or depressed? Don't trust your lying eyes, truth is now the opinion of the powerful, not objective reality? Humans can be trusted with things like managing nuclear power and genetic engineering, I mean, what could go wrong? Vaccines are safe and effective? So we need moral grounding that does value human life and truth and mutual respect and peace. If it is too late for the Catholic Church to be the vehicle for this better value system, then what alternative can we consider here in the US that will protect our rights and be a check on the ever consolidating power of the elites as they expand their reach of surveillance and control over every person on earth? I am not here to proselytize. I am saying we are in a spiritual battle and I am suggesting the Catholic Church might be the best place to help us put on the Armor of God so we can face down the demons. But maybe you have suggestions for other ways to do this. This is just how it looks to me given what we seem to be faced with - endless wars, no borders, spiraling costs, no rights...
Border policy alone should be enough convince voters who to support in the upcoming election. To our readers who support open borders, please give an argument in support of unrestricted immigration. How are open borders and unvetted immigration better for America than controlled and vetted immigration?
Open borders undergirds a very large part of K-12 enrollments, enriching the very powerful teachers unions. 1982, SCOTUS mandated free public education for all illegal US residents.
New cohorts of replacement students are needed very year to maintain the current K-12 enrollment and teacher union membership numbers, which in turn drives this ongoing open border lawlessness under Democrat administrations.
US domestic birth rates do not meet this current teacher union membership dues demand. This remains an overlooked driver of both open borders and sanctuary cities. Let alone the seriously declining quality of US public education. Public education is an $800 billion dollar a year business.
The huge LAUSD recently even demanded elimination of all student testing to cover up their years of well-documented K-12 failings and refusal to reform their own internal malfeasance.
Pays to follow where and how the public education dollar is going and who is driving this critical public institution off the cliff.
The teachers themselves are often only unwitting pawns while their unions keep an iron grip on the larger policy issues, like Democrat political support for open borders. Time to decertify these current large and partisan national teacher union engagements and bring schools back to local control.
Yep, the border policy alone should put an end to Kamala. No need to look at anything else. Her willingness to have patriots die for her flooding America cause is all to end her career. She's destroying the country with people that don't give a damn about the country.
I think most people do feel like you (and me) about the open borders. That's why they're determined to get enough immigration done that it doesn't matter what the majority of legal American citizens want.
And how close are we to the tipping point whereby America will be forever fundamentally transformed into a one-party state? Is it hyperbolic to say that this election is the answer? I believe that most people are opposed to open borders but a significant subset see it as a perquisite to a one-party state, or at least the most expedient path today.
It is not hyperbolic to state this at all. We already watched this happen in California. Even Elon Musk now gets it.
This election could turn the entire nation into the same super- majority dysfunction being directed from the federal level as we have now seen happen on our own state.
There are enough players now across this nation to make this happen. The warning signs from just 2020 are screaming at us. The unthinkable has become real. The same forces in place in our county election offices across this country are part of the tipping point operations in place since 2008.
The elite Dem politicians want to replace the patriots with immigrants that will kill off the already citizens in the country. Kamala has no shame people are being killed, so she must want us dead. How else can it be explained?
Rotten boroughs population-based voting districts already don’t care if you are legal or even registered to vote, since these population-only districts still get to elect one full voting representative regardless of either citizenship or registered voter numbers.
City and SBCC trustee districts are population-based district voting. Need more research to see how many other elected offices are determined by only population- based districting.
I believe the CVRA requires population-based district voting across the state. With the CVRA, special protected class “minority-majority” districts must also be carved out. (CVRA is the California Voting Rights Act - a must read.)
This very cynical “election reform” was papered over by the creation of the “independent” California redistricting committee. Big fanfare when it was first established, but has also fallen into passive indifference run out of Sacramento.
Not unlike the citizens advisory committees that were created to oversee all school bond issues, processing only the data handed to them in dense form by the school districts themselves.
I had the scariest moment today. I read that Kamala Harris thought about getting Walz as her vp while marinating a pork roast. And I do all my thinking while cooking! Oh no! I am Kamala's soul sister!
I'd be concerned if I was Walz. Harris was probably thinking of eating him while marinating a pork roast. But I don't think Harris can cook. She probably stands next to someone that says, "Please stir this and don't say anything."
Yo, John Kerry: That’s part of what the First Amendment is *meant* to do — to get in the way of the plans of people like you, and other would-be totalitarians.
Reading this and comparing it to the lower level junk in the county and city councils it is a bit daunting.
You have empty suits that misrepresent and lie at the local level ("complete streets" and the idiotic "15 minute city") to get what they want with people on the opposite side of the street (like that one?). The question is when will it end? How many shells that allow the kids to exist and take uncontested seats are there?
How many paid gunslingers will the public put up with when there are claims of 350 bike trips on what was and is a "advanced notice" count?
When you read this article and find when, comparing to destroyed city centers, it is sad. Those who support the destruction "want it their way" and let the peons walk / ride buses on non-functional streets while they drive street crushing 5,000 pound ev's.
Want to bet there is another shell having been formed with another soon to be gone elected official?
Interesting comparisons..... just wish the local comparisons wasn't so accurate.
We see the total lack of leadership in Harris and Biden in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Biden was at his Delaware Beach House over the weekend and Harris was at FEMA Headquarters babbling about something, not quite sure. I wonder how the pending Longshoreman’s strike is going to affect the rescue/rebuilding of North Carolina. What is Biden/Harris doing to avert a strike? Will they enact Taft/Hartley to force the UNION dock workers back to work, or more predictably, do nothing and appease their union handlers?
As for Israel’s efforts to eradicate Hezbollah, I say go for it! As Jared Kushner recently said “finish the job!” The Hezbollah and Hamas thugs have American blood on their hands and have this coming…way overdue! We should be thanking the IDF and Netanyahu for avenging the HUNDREDS of US Marines for giving their lives while trying to give a dysfunctional Lebanon a chance at freedom. As a Veteran, I am the last person to want US troops to be sent into harm’s way, but pay back…well you know what they say! Can ANYONE say with a straight face, Hezbollah, Hamas or the Russians would fear a DEI hire like Harris?
The reality is the world is full of bad actors who don’t value life the way we do, Trump is unpredictable and our adversaries fear him. Trump is not the one to start a fight, but you better believe he’ll finish one. As Mike Tyson famously said “ Everyone has a plan until they’re punched in the face!”
I like it. Think about the fact Kamala has made no apology for allowing all the immigrants into the country which are causing an expense to taxpayers along with many very serious crimes. If she doesn't feel she is partially to blame, she has an obvious personal problem of not caring about anyone else but herself. That alone should put an end to her charade.
Robert, this is a comment on your headline artwork. I'm fascinated by the dancer with three legs. It's been haunting me all day almost as much as Kerry's stupido performance as a totalitarian.
The three-legged man is the symbol of the Isle of Man, and the phrase that goes with him is "Whichever way you throw me, I will stand." There is also a three-legged woman called the Trinacria who represents Sicily. But working with AI programs as (I presume) Robert does to create these illustrations, one of the consistently amusing things is that it has such a hard time creating the correct number of legs and fingers. But it is learning, and many of the Deep Fakes are very convincing.
All Trump has to do is keep silent and let Harris do all the talking and undoubtedly, he will win the Presidency. Perhaps at the local level, entice the Dem politicians to speak in public and say nothing in response ... perhaps they'll sink their own boat. With your silence, they can't label you.
(1) Money, Money and More Money ... We know how it all works now and it's first all about money (remember the comedy musical "Tenderloin" and the tune "How the Money Changes Hand)." Without the involvement of money (power and control), there'd be no politics to begin with. Remember, politicians don't do anything for us, only for themselves.
(2) Will Everybody Stop Hating Me! ... Politicians eventually get lonely when nobody loves them anymore because of their criminal activities. What does a poor politician now do? Let tens of millions of "new" people into the country and give them lots of stuff through charities providing lucrative money laundering schemes for the elite. Oh, and don't forget those future freebee votes for those very kind and loving Dem politicians. As a bonus, the sudden increase of 500K criminals can rape, terrorize, steal and murder the local citizen that hate the politicians. The criminals are aided to perform crimes with much less police because the Dems believe police are evil.
(3) I can go on all day with this stuff. Das Williams will be loved by the strawberry pickers and the pickers will honor Das with a strawberry wherever he goes and wherever he eventually stops. It's sweet to be remembered by a strawberry.
I was thinking today about "connecting dots" to arrive at a conclusion. The older you are the fewer dots needed to get from an observation to why something is happening. It's like an old mechanic that has fixed thousands of cars and can listen to the noise in the crankcase and determine the source of the noise ... because he's heard it before. Kinda the same thing with politicians making noise, we've heard it before. Unfortunately, people always don't listen.
DOS, Trump speaks for a lot of people. Nor does Trump change his tune nor accent depending on the group he is talking do.
My guess is you really don’t like his message, not his delivery. Most of us look beyond his speaking style and base Trump support on his policies and proven accomplishments. You lose his real message if you concentrate only on his form. Prove me wrong.
Excellent article full of truths about the corrupt Dems in control. Anyone that votes for Dems or Repukes should be in jail or worse with these criminals.

The Commie Dems want to make everything electric? Start with the border wall.
Coincidence is not causation, Polly. You are saved from guilt by association.
I'd be concerned if I was Walz. Harris was probably thinking of eating him while marinating a pork roast. But I don't think Harris can cook. She probably stands next to someone that says, "Please stir this and don't say anything."
Here’s a name for Joes “trust company“ trust but don’t verify
That's hilarious, Brian.
Hey! I just had a great idea !
a) We Republicans vote Harris & the Commie-Dems into office.
b) The Democrats destroy the country.
c) Republicans sweep the ’28 election and rule for the next 20 years.
Whatcha think? :)
No need to wait. They have already inflicted critical damage today.
Yes, there is a tipping point of no return for anything.
Thanks, Pat. Always can count on you to explain!
Bill, sorry but Trump can't keep silent. He's biggest liability to winning.
