The Climate emergency is a depopulation movement brought to you by the same people who built the Georga guidestones. There it is clearly stated that the population of the planet should be reduced by 90%. Unfortunately a significant majority of Americans believe there is a climate emergency and that the science is settled. The scientific consensus is an illusion achieved by censoring descenting opinions and funding studies with pre-determined outcomes performed by lemmings, useful idiots and opportunists. This is the same playbook used to prove the covid vaccine is safe and effective and that alternative therapies such as ivermectin are ineffective. The past predictions of climate models have been so bad it takes a skilled academic to support them. Climate models cannot predict the future climate or explain the past climate which was generally hotter than today. Climate models are however extremely useful for pushing the depopulation agenda.
I like climate cult true believers. Reminds me of Bible studies back in Sunday School.
I usually allow them to prattle on with their predictions of doom and gloom about forces they have no understanding of. It’s amusing to me. Right up until they request me to sacrifice virgins, goats, and starve myself to death for “the greater good” 😌
excellent melding of the importance of energy, it's products, and the role each of us plays in this global game of risk — which is controlled by the Elites making the key decisions that control our resources & thus our lives...
energy is the root of life...I wish that people would stop telling us the lie that oil a fossil fuel derived from dead dinosaurs...the Truth is that oil is the second most naturally occurring liquid within the earth (behind water)...we can thank John D Rockefeller (and his cronies & minions), who in the late 1800s, sold the lie that oil comes from dead dinosaurs in order to control the supply & maximize profit...same John D Rockefeller that took control of our medical schools in order to destroy our history of using homeopathic medicines & convert our remedies to oil based medicines — a pill for every ill...
we are at war…Humanity is good, but, when we let our guard down we allow darkness to infiltrate and destroy...like past battles fought, we now face our greatest battle at present, a battle to save our Republic, our way of life, and what we now decide (each of us) will decide our future…?will you choose to be a Useful Idiot, an Opportunist, a Coward? or, will you choose to awaken & take a stand as we face our enemies...
PS, the Elites at the top of the Pyramid are slavers...ultimately, they want your land, your gold, and your children...
The article helped me to see a different prospective on fossil fuels. As a chemist I agree... Oil is indeed used for the making of millions of products we use daily. The opening line "useful idiots" is disappointing in that it cuts off dialogue with others that might have some constructive information to share. While I am still open to possibilities of "climate change" but do think that CO2 and methane and other industrial products are causes of global warming. I need to dig deeper into this issue...while I will probably be dead before significant changes in the environment will impact me (so who really cares?) I am bothered by continued temperature records being broken and glaciers melting and giant icebergs breaking of Antartica. So the artic will be free of ice and open to commercial transport. Maybe it matters to those that will be left behind and for their sake maybe I should care.
MKR: I do hope you keep exploring your "climate change" concerns. There remains a lot to learn. Such as the fact Antarctica also sits on top of a very active volcanic substrata, which can cause "ice bergs to break away and fall into the sea". Coming out of the last Ice Age only 10,000 years ago which covered much of Northern Hemisphere, one would expect both warming and the retreat of glaciers to be still going on. Thank goodness.
Temperature records are not being broken, nor is the geological record kept with any degree of precision in the first place. Depends upon how long and wide your chosen focus is.
Do you measure just past few decades in the urban environment, or geologic time where our our own planetary system cycles through the arms of the spiral galaxy we now call home for human beings - for about the past 100,000 years out of its 14 billion year existence?
Did the particulate smog layer we used to call our normal in fact "cool" the climate, and now after a few decades of air pollution control are we in fact experiencing normal temperatures, not warmer temperatures? According to what benchmarks.
There are some great offerings in geology on The Great Courses series that give one pause when attempting to blame any one thing for "climate change". Plus the link offered here in the prior posts (Climate- The Cold Truth) as a must see, is in fact a must see to start your own further exploration on this topic.
But I would look for the Great Courses geology series first, to pin down the basics and the vocabulary. When I was in college in the 1960s, my own intro geology course did not even include the tectonic plates theory, which had yet to be proposed to the scientific community at that time.
This was a particularly good one for the basics: How the Earth Works: How the Earth Works Michael E. Wysession, Ph.D. Professor, Washington University in St. Louis If you choose The Great Courses on ROKU Wondrium, you can access as many of these course offerings as your own curiosity wants to indulge for single subscription price.
So many of us have had to work hard on our own to understand something as infinitely complex as "climate change". Hats off to Al Gore for popularizing the topic, but he long ago outlived that one small measure of usefulness. He could not outrun the data either.
Climate Change™ is also a very useful tool for political manipulation, no? Falls right into the FUD driver for partisan gain: Fear, Uncertainty, Death. We just went down that same road with "covid". And it is an election year again. The gremlins are out amongst us.
Why do small minded people love to put labels on others? Probably because they are scared and weak so making others “wrong” or “less-that” helps them feel significant.
Abundant cheap oil and gas is what catapulted the USA into the position of dominance it enjoys today. Sorry, it was not our "good intentions" or our "freedom", "liberty" or any other ideology. It was our oil and gas supplies and our resolve to use them. It is why we are what we are, and we used our abundant natural resources to lift billions around the world out of starvation, poverty and dependence on despots.
The current trend to attack and dismantle our energy and food supply (connected joined at the hip) is just the despots trying to claw back their lost power. They do this by playing a long-game of convincing our youth and political leadership that we are somehow evil for thriving. (Hey Israel, take note)...Thus the demands for “DIE” (Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity).
I do my best to ready with an open eye this newsletter which I never subscribed to, but somehow got enlisted to. I’m genuinely interested in reading opinions which so far have been mostly against my owns.
But, one thing I grow more and more frustrated with is the lack of evidence in anything being said. And the justification for this lack of evidence being things like “we can’t trust medias or fact-checkers” (quoting a previous article). Sure, I might partially agree with this, as shown during Covid and some false information we received, mostly fueled by big pharma. Yet, that’s not a reason for not citing sources. And I really have trouble with this newsletter being mostly filled with “please take as granted” facts.
Here are two examples:
1. “ It has been estimated that more than half the world’s population would starve to death if we banned fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides”. No source here and I assume you’re not an expert on this field. A quick ChatGPT check yields to the following response “ The statement is partially true. While banning fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides could potentially lead to a decrease in food production, the claim that more than half the world's population would starve to death is likely an exaggeration. It's important to consider various factors such as alternative farming methods, technological advancements, and shifts in dietary habits that could mitigate the impact of such a ban.”
2. “ Sri Lanka, one of the poorest countries in the world, was the first to ban synthetic fertilizers made from fossil-fuel derivatives. What happened? Food shortages and prices went up 80%. People rioted, the president was forced to resign, and he fled the country.” a quick search leads to “ The claim appears to be inaccurate. While Sri Lanka did announce plans to ban synthetic fertilizers in 2021, there isn’t sufficient evidence to support the assertion that this led directly to food shortages, a significant increase in prices, riots, the resignation of the president, or him fleeing the country. It’s crucial to verify such claims with credible sources before accepting them as true.”
What are the chances that on two random quotes I (quickly) check I get one exaggeration and an inaccurate one?
——
This newsletter would benefit by backing up the claims it makes. A little more nuance would also go a long way in making it more credible. While I enjoy reading all viewpoints, I never enjoy reading brainwashing content (no one does). One should ask “if everything in a newsletter only ever falls into one of the two main republican VS democrat viewpoints, then is it truly unbiased?” I believe only fools will have 100% of their opinions fall within a single political spectrum.
Pretty much a trifecta of misinformation: it is not a vaccine, it is not safe and it is not effective.
(Query: when does personal statement become a fact based conclusion?) It would be hard to cite all the sources for my own willingness to make that statement. NIH Library of Medicine PubMed searches, to personal experience, background and education, observing the CDC sleight of hands in real time, along with wide exposure and reading over the past few years of "covid".
Most here read widely from other resources for their background information. Would you like wider reading recommendations, which will allow you to delve into the facts that form many of the opinions discussed here?
Dear Phillippe. I am afraid you might be suffering from confirmation bias. That is, the facts in this column are easily verifiable if you really want to know the truth.
Don't let ankle biters distract you or waste your time. They're just going to look for other alleged "errors" ... and they will continue to deny the facts even as reality approaches like a runaway freight train.
Yes. Stating the obvious should always be sourced with impeccable citations ... before being parsed in detail by intellectual midgets with no idea what they're talking about.
Peter, I support solar panels but, as my friend in Denver says, during a snow storm it gets aw fully cold without a backup system. There are parts of this great country where they are impractical.
“ Oil isn’t used to make electricity, and upwards of one-half of every barrel of oil isn’t used to make fuel. It is used to make thousands of products that we can’t live without. ”
Most people have no idea about the causes they take up or the politician they vote for.
People are sheep being led by the loudest voice they hear.
Take the EV for example, people think they are “green” because there is no tailpipe.
They don’t ask questions about where does that battery go in 10years, a landfill with its chemicals. Less than 10% of a battery is “recyclable”
A charging EV uses as much energy as an entire house every hour.
It takes 90,000 miles for an EV to break even on its carbon footprint against a gas powered car.
They don’t ask how the resources and minerals to build the battery are obtained.
Just like Solar Panels.
They don’t ask where the quartzite comes from or how it’s melted to create solar panels.
Slave labor mining and fracking and they burn coal & tires to melt the quartzite.
Most EV & solar panels are made in China. China is the number 1 polluter because they’re making “green” energy. Yin & Yang.
I love electric cars, I think they have great potential. But science is not there yet.
But Americans feel good about driving their EV They hands are “clean” Despite the reality that they are causing pollution.
So very, very true!!! Your statement regarding Calif alone should be enough to convince even a fifth grader that the “green movement” is not good for the state, let alone the nation:
“Why are California gas prices the highest in the continental USA? It is called the law of supply and demand. In 1982, we had 43 oil refineries serving a population of 25 million people. Today, we have 11 refineries (with a few of those slated to close soon) serving some 38 million people!!
In addition to the above there are all the “environmental” taxes that the domineering party in the state has added over the years under the illusion of going towards better roads!
I learned about many of the things that indicate another mechanism for "global warming" There are many ideas and issues. A bit of background....When I was a senior in high school my high school journalism class was invited to AAAS (American Association for the advancement of Science) Our small group was invited to interview Nobel Laurets Ruth Hubbard issues in IV Fand Luis Alvarez of atomic bomb fame. As we settled into the lecture a fierce exchanges of words occurred between the crowd and the laurels. I was a bit shocked at one point where I thought things would become physical. At end the the Laurets vanquished the protesters but they were encouraged to stay, listen, and learn.
Instead about half the room left. After the lecture when the rest of the crowd was leaving Dr. Alvarez and Dr Hubbard asked for our high school journalism team to stay and talk. They wanted to know about us. We were there for more than an hour...at one point I gained enough couage to ask them a question. I was a bit afraid to ask them after seeing how fierce they could be in defending their positions. Then I asked about the intense pre-lecture "fight" Both pointed out that the early questioners were not there to learn but to ridicule and prove their points...As I recall they both said real scientist discuss the facts and share evidence and try to a hypothesis that leads to a sound theory. They are not there to ridicule or insult the other but to be seekers of truth. And in science to develop theories that can be used to predict and help human kind. I was so impressed by their openness and given there sound advice to learn from each other and seek the truth...I went back to school and decided to study chemistry (radio/nuclear at SJSU gad 1985)...I always found science and technology seductive...but realized I owed it to the next generation to help them understand. So I taught for about 20 plus years and then became fascinated semiconductors and metrology. Now that I am retired I can and do spend time reading and continuing to learn. My comment earlier was in response to many of the disrespectful comments I read. I enjoyed your remarks because you were friendly and respectful sharing your own journey and more importantly giving me some great leads to continue to learn about global warming or lack there of. Thank you MKRose
Thanks for sharing your own story - amazing how life-changing those early encounters in our lives can be. Or even more surprising is when someone out of our own past reveal years later that we too made some difference in their lives too, though we might not even remember the encounter.
Just reading right now "Wrinkles in Time" by Nobel Laureate George Smoot who was also an early student of Dr Luis Alvarez, telling his own story about his own "discoveries" in science (background cosmic radiation) and the vigorous debate and preening among peers that it requires.
Ironically today, on this very day of our current US solar eclipse, to be reminded of when I met George Smoot on a Cal Alumni trip to China view in order to view the 2008 Solar Eclipse from the wide open spaces near the border of Mongolia. George made the topics accessible even for my own lay background, and for that I am eternally grateful.
Why not just be transparent on the true culprits for all of these assaults on the people globally mainly knowing that all of our wars were proxied by the World Economic Forum(WEF), World Health Organization(WHO), the United Nations(UN), and of course let's not forget the North Atlantic Treaty Organization( NATO). Do you believe that fuel comes from dinosaur bones? That is all a fabrication too. I know that when fuel is manufactured the bi-product is diesel fuel. I also know that fuel purchased at the pumps is only 63% pure they add their additives and sulfates to break down the parts that our vehicles depend on for continuity of power and performance. I use a product to boost the fuel purity up to 93% in my car to maintain my vehicle engine. The science behind this product is very well-known in the mechanical industries. 50 years of military research and documented science behind it. Why would anyone use petroleum products in the manufacture of our medicine with these toxic chemicals to the human genome? When you have herbicides and pesticides that are utilized on your food supply is a further assault on the people. It is correctly expressed that these are biological weapons for conducting a legalized holocaust/genocide aka crimes against humanity. I know that neuro-transmitters and neuro-pathways only accept organic compounds for healing so it isn't just all other elements it is our whole allopathic medical industry that strayed away from holistic natural healing from the people. Too much Government Control is not democracy, it is socialism/Communism and Slavery. It is very apparent to the public now that the State of California and the United States Constitutions have been Usurped by our elected officials. There has been insurrection committed against both the US Constitution and California Constitution. The only way out of this mess is through Article 4 sections 3 and 4 of the US Constitution, the West Virginia model. It's Been 163 years but NewCaliforniaState.com is the only constitutional movement with constitutional standing. As a USAF veteran, my oath is to this state to remain with the union through the restoration of the continuation of our republic form of government for the people of the United States and New California. California was never a slave state until now. Our 1849 California Constitution compacted with God's natural law, and ratified in Congres article 1 section 18 is stated in the 13th Amendment that President Lincoln added in 1865 to abolish slavery, and it is also in the current 1879 California Constitution which incorporated the state that has been amended over 922 times. Democracy has turned into Slavery of the worst kind.
Dear Sherry....the industrial revolution and advances in farming is what gave us the longest life span in the history of mankind, the highest cost of living, and the advances in tech and medicine that are saving and extending lives....ag and oil are gifts from God, not the creation of evil forces....it is the evil forces who want to take them both away.
The food shortage issue is an interesting one. Yes governments around the world are attacking farmers, killing cattle, burning down chicken farms.
Do you recall the story of Joseph from the Bible?
He stock piled food for years for Egypt preparing for a 7 yr drought so Egypt could feed all its people.
The people did buy grain from Egypt, they were saved by government!
The drought continued, the people ran out of money. So they traded their livestock for food. The drought continued. The people sold their land to Egypt so they could eat. Then they sold themselves into slavery to the government for food. The people were just grateful to have food they didn’t care that they were now slaves and did not own their ancestors land.
The governments are attacking food production.
While billionaires have been buying up most of the farm land, and China.
Where do you think this is all going?
Do you think Bugs replacing meat and vegetables is the end goal?
Global temperature is controlled by the Ideal Gas Law. PV = nRT. There done.
Weather is determined by many cycles and processes: From multi-decade oscillations to the lunar cycles. This is not understood and we can barely predict the weather tomorrow.
Climate ... is affected by long term cycles often identified as Milankovitch cycles. These are not understood, and we have no idea what the weather will be next year - much less a century from now.
Glaciation ... ironically ... we actually do know that glaciation correlates with obliquity. The process is slow and how it works seems obvious, but we really don't understand it. Suffice it to say, our obliquity now is middling and does not correlate with glaciation. And it won't for a long time.
Global Warming / Climate Change is scheme. It's not science, and those of us familiar with the scheme are overwhelmed with evidence of fraud and disingenuous junk science.
To be fair to the public and the planet ... the AGW scheme has prevented us from discussing both our actual pollution problems, which are significant, and our actual energy options. Instead we're wasting time promoting non-solutions to a non-problem that will do nothing but exhaust our planet and our people.

The question that I find stumps EV drivers is: when you plug your car in, where does the power in the plug comefrom?

The Bible talks about these type of people and they are worthless and wicked people. God talks about them in Proverbs 6: 16-19.
16 There are six things the Lord hates—
no, seven things he detests:
haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that kill the innocent,
a heart that plots evil,
feet that race to do wrong,
a false witness who pours out lies,
a person who sows discord in a family.
We must use wisdom in dealing with this non-sense and Bible tells us there are two goals in wisdom, which is contrary to this false narrative.
The two goals of wisdom and to 1. Know what is right and to do it and 2. To NEVER lose common sense. Proverbs 3:21-23
In these terrible days, this proverb makes more sense than ever!!
Hello Mr. J. Livingston,
I learned about many of the things that indicate another mechanism for "global warming" There are many ideas and issues.
Nice post. Good comment.
I totally agree andy this is purely a spiritual war against the people. Stand firm with the breastplate of righteousness in place. ❤️❤️🇺🇲🇺🇲✨️🕊🕊✨️
Andy,
There was one choice missing from the "wheel" in the Augusta Chronicle cartoon.
"ALL OF THE ABOVE"
Or do you think the government has larger plans?
Great job by Andy to bring in the useful idiots.
There are more now than ever before!
Saul Alinsky in his book titled rules for radicals explains how the useful idiots are used.
Cheers
Steve
