I’m thankful the southern border will close.
I’m thankful American lives will be saved.
I’m thankful drug deaths of our children could start to decline.
I’m thankful we may not go to war.
I’m thankful we can become energy independent.
I’m thankful we can toss out the refuse at the FBI, CIA, DOJ, and Secret Service.
I’m thankful we can fire DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the one man who has caused Americans more grief than we can count.
I’m thankful we can fire useless Transportation Secretary “Pete” Buttigieg, who promoted stupid things like racist freeways.
I’m thankful we can start to push back against the crime wave plaguing our country.
I’m thankful we can start the process of sending home murderers, rapists, terrorists, and other criminals, back to where they came from.
I’m thankful we can give J6 Americans their rights back.
I’m thankful that DEI will die.
I’m thankful the Woke will go back to sleep.
I’m thankful cancel culture is canceling itself out.
And I’m thankful that men won’t be allowed to prance around in women’s locker rooms or overpower females in women’s sports.
I’m especially thankful that the entire stable of braying self-loving “celebrities” such as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Oprah, Cher, Bruce Springsteen, late night TV hosts, the ladies of The View, and other brainless Hollywood types held no sway over the “stupid” voters.
A Little Gloating Is in Order
I was driving home the day of election and admittedly nervous about the outcome. I was telling myself the election had never been about Trump or Kamala. A vote for Trump was a vote to repair the mess Biden/Harris made. A vote for Kamala was voting for an empty vessel being directed to keep the chaos going.
It began before Biden became president, but the long-range plan to undermine America went into high gear during his tenure. I’m thankful America saw what was happening and said, “Enough is enough.”
As much as I would love to gloat… Okay, I’ll gloat.
But there’s a Mount Everest amount of hard work ahead. We’re already witnessing the new form of attack; go after the people who are going to go after them.
It has been a beautiful thing to watch Democrats and the left devour each other. Their attempts at damage control have uncovered the high level of corruption they’ve wrought. They have opened the proverbial Pandora’s box and have exposed all the lies, scheming, and biases that are now flowing forth like dragon breath. I’m thankful I no longer have to be concerned if their devious behavior is having any effect because it doesn’t matter. We won! (Insert happy face here)
I’m also very grateful to be witnessing the beginning of the end of progressive politicians. San Francisco and Oakland are tossing out their partisan rubbish big time. Even the most hard-wired liberals are saying enough already with the human feces on the streets, drug addicts and homeless littering their sidewalks, and crimes for which no one is punished. I imagine the residents wouldn’t mind having a local pharmacy or two return to their neighborhood as well. Even the useless L.A. District Attorney George Gascon, got kicked really hard in the rear end. I wonder what George Soros is going to do with his billions now, knowing the working class is on to him. I’m also thankful he’s losing control across the country.
Time to Stay Focused
We do need to stay vigilant. We won this battle, but the war isn’t over. Once Democrats recover from their wounds, they’ll come back with a vengeance. Those of us who live in California are fully aware what an utter disaster this state has become, thanks to “progressive” governance, but Gavin Newsom doesn’t. He has no introspection and it’s frighteningly possible this inept person could not only be running for president in 2028 against J.D. Vance, but that he could win.
It’s important, after the holidays and the high from our joyous victory settles down, that we remain focused for the next battles to begin.
I find it fun to observe how quickly the media that just days ago was calling Trump a Nazi, and his supporters stupid, are now groveling. We’re witnessing a paradigm shift to the middle happening in lightning speed before our eyes.
The jaundiced media was caught with its pants down and now it doesn’t know how to pull them back up.
November 6, 2024, was one of the happiest days in my life. And for the lives of over 75 million other people. If Kamala Harris had won, the fear that things could have continued in the same wrong direction would have been hard to accept. What kind of country had we become where a sitting president was fired and a new candidate – who in no way earned or deserved the top spot – could be smuggled into the White House?
The world changed for the better overnight. It’s hard for me to believe that the intolerant and small-minded won’t even visit or will deny relatives a seat at their table for Thanksgiving, based upon how they voted. Turkeys are now political. The very ones who called Trump voters every name in the book are the most bigoted.
Finally, I thank “47” for sticking to his plan. He never changed. You always knew where he was coming from. You can complain about certain personality traits, but that’s not what we voted for.
It will be a glorious New Year.
And for that I’m extremely thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Be thankful every day !
I am thankful that Henry is such a great writer and that he shares his wisdom and insight with us regularly. Enjoy Thanksgiving because this year we have much to give thanks for.
