Steyer created multiple problems he now claims he’s running to fix. He’s a dangerous hypocrite seeking only power who already has spent $12M attempting to attract voters. He might try the ‘CA Hospice Approach’: I’ll buy you a flat screen for your ID (your ballot). He’s like a snake oil salesman full of fake promises.

What Steyer knows and is banking on: there are many stupid CA voters and also ignorant voters, regardless of political party registration, who vote the name they have heard most often or the name who promises them benefits at my and your expense.

I’d sure like to see how he’s going to pull these plans of his off. He legally can’t do any of the things you stated. But he has stated that he’s going to bring school testing scores back up to number one and also lower our electricity cost 25%. Never any details just big promises. I think the comment above is right. he’s counting on out and out stupidity and ignorance (which there is plenty of in California), along with commercial bombardment in order to win this nomination. God help us if he does.

He would be worse than Newsom

Thanks David for "taking one for the team" by sitting through Steyer. On a humorous note there are some improved ways to approach the PTSD that such a meeting may cause.

He definitely won’t be getting my vote.

Remember in November who can turn our incredible State around and encourage all your friends and family to be sure to get out and vote for a saner California! We’ve been traveling down this wrong road for way too long…

Mr. Steyer made his millions the old fashion way. He found a potential for investment and went for it. (So much for socialist money).

Have to find the quote in Mr. McCalmont's piece -- , I’ll go after I.C.E. the way Eliot Ness and Joe Friday went after the Mafia.” Either this is a bad move by Steyer and his staff or he missed the Dragnet series.... Friday was a L.A. cop and I can never remember "Joe" going after the Mafia.

The radicalized party in Sacramento has trouble with the candidate. He is too Capitalist for Sacramento of the past 40 years, and not radical enough for the Dem. Party that marches in streets with Communists.

This will be a very, very, very, interesting election. Will the middle class reject radicalism?

Thanks for this article

The last time I heard a politician say that a governor can ignore federal law and actively resist federal law enforcement was George Wallace. Is Steyer our new “stand in the door” politician? Our new demagogue? Our new States’ Rights rebel? Our new segregationist dressed up as a “progressive”? California has enough problems; it does not need a demagogue as its governor.

SHOUT this far & wide: money $$$, volunteers, resources are required to win. We must focus to elect Bob Smith! Last night we lost more essential Congressional seats to Democrats in VA; we previously lost Prop 50 in CA gifting more seats to Democrats. Steyer knows MONEY MATTERS! Resources Matter! Committed Volunteers Matter! What is your vision for our country, county, local government, and public schools? Let’s hope not single party control. To change course requires an all out effort. Tonight’s the CA Govenor Debate. How can anyone support a Democrat or a GOP newcomer, a foreigner to lead CA with 38-39M residents? Fortunately we have one capable, American acculturated, CA experienced informed Gov candidate to support: Sheriff Bianco. And for Congress exceptional candidate Bob Smith!

Please save us from people like Steyer.

His campaign is a race to the bottom of the pile.
