Really important article Henry!!! I think most people don't realize how the charlatans swinging the golden watches are the school teachers and professors- from pre-k to post doctoral the entire diabolical endeavor is to hypnotize us out of reality. Ironically, the higher the education, the more sophistical and rationalistic the hypnotized, we see it in spades from the literati's comments even here at the SB Current. The single reason an immoral and classless reprobate like Kamala Harris could be elected to the highest office in the land without a single virtue or true qualification is because the schools have been brainwashing the masses and the "best and brightest" go on to gaslight the world through media, entertainment, law, and politics. The true answer is for those of us still with an ounce of common sense to remove our children from the public institutions immediately and protect and recover innocence while parents recover our moral responsibility to be our children's first teachers.

I am not complacent. I wear a red M.A.G.A. hat. I will vote to stop our country's slide over the cliff. I will plead to GOD to help our nation survive the doom that's headed our way. What I cannot do is stop the arrival (after midnight) of truckloads of fake ballots which are printed in China. I cannot keep millions of dead people from voting from their graves. What I can do...is to keep my head on straight, while others are losing theirs. This may well be the last days of the "Church Age" mentioned in the Holy Bible. Do not despair. Do not give up hope. Keep fighting until the very end. After all....we are the patriots of a once great and mighty nation. We just might win again.

How about putting this at a more local level..... Getting Sleepy Goleta? A congested Old Town Hollister the majority are angry about. A $4 plus million bike path from Pacific Oaks to Ellwood that never generated promised numbers. A 50% Patterson bike path that uses 100% of Caltrans Grant and close to 60% to fix environmental damage.

Getting Sleepy Santa Barbara? A corpse called State St (Death Valley) because of lousy tra)ffic planning. Multiple crossing streets like Sola where the outcome is almost as bad because of intentional street obstructions. A cross walk on Las Positas and Tallent so residents can safely walk to shop at Gelson's - center pedestrian island, bulbouts, and expensive street light, (forget a safe and pleasant access has been available for 60 years). How about all those 50 pluse miles of bike paths and bulbouts suddently appearing because the arrogant anti technology folks demand them without justification. When is SB going to take on the legal issue of children riding electric motorcycles without safety equipment or enforce moped laws on the over 15 mph e-bikes? But again SB is an easy target because of many failures the environmentalists refuse to address.

The question becomes one of where are the supposed elites that are supposed to know better? You know they have tons of money, live in nice secluded homes. Some run for office and snap their fingers and say you will be lemmings and do as I say and not as I do.

"Sit back and do as you’re told, and then suddenly it all explodes before your eyes and it’s too late to save the passengers."

Yep it might have had some reasoning 50 years ago, but little now. Science has caught up with radical environmental factions and they are having a terrible time justifying tear apart the Nation and locally where you live.

Thank for the article.

Yes, the local “Green Mafia,” has a huge say in not only public works policy but WHO runs for office and WHO wins office. As I indicated a couple days ago, groups such as the EDC, Surfrider and Sierra Club have ENORMOUS power over the voting public. Ever wonder how our County tax base is shrinking due to land grants/grabs of private lands? Multiple swaths of parcels are donated to environmentalists for virtually their exclusive use. As a not-for-profit, they are removed from the County tax roles!

I do realize that part of the Kook-Aid you consume informs you that you don't have to answer, (this is an unexamined Marxist principle) but in a civilized society it is a matter of virtue that you support your words with facts. Lincoln didn't care for freeing the slaves, he was a pragmatist who cared more about preserving the union than upholding Christian values. Christian Monarchies which are for some reason considered "backwards" banned slavery well before America did.

I disagree…as evidenced by his speech in the years preceding his presidency, Lincoln care about slaves & equal treatment under law:

https://www.nps.gov/liho/learn/historyculture/slavery.htm

While some countries abolished slavery prior to America (eg Spain 1817, England 1834, France 1848), others abolished after America (eg Cuba 1888, Brazil 1926)

Unlike most, America fought a civil war, with great loss of life, in order to abolish slavery.

Africans profited from African slaves. All sorts of people have been and still are enslaved. No one seems to give a shit about the African children forced into hard labor like diamond mining. Yes, unfortunately they did participated in the slave trade in violation of Christain principles. The Church is a hospital for sinners, and sinful people often sacrifice certain values for temporary gain. But ultimately these monarchies could make them illegal by appealing to authentic Christian values. And the near absolute authority of a monarchy would allow the effective enforcement of a ban.

Stephen if you really want to bring up the historical failings of religious monarchies than I will do the same for secular republics/democracies..

Remember that eugencis, scientific racism, and social darwinism was never promoted by Catholics under the rule of a Catholic monarch, rather secular individuals who supported classical liberal and enlightenment thought condoned these ideas, indeed some "progressives" historically supported these ideas.

Joseph Goebbels famously said “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.”

No, I am NOT equating Democrats to National Socialism. It does seem however, the Dems repeat the same lies over and over. Whether it be on the economy, foreign policy, climate change and simple biology!

Clearly, Kamala Harris is in over her head and has NO clue as to what she is talking about. Yes, she was an utter disaster as Attorney General and Senator for California. Her term as Senator was a huge nothingburger and while AG, she favored bail projects which released dangerous criminals. She also tried to convict at least one innocent defendant with capital murder when she KNEW the evidence was lacking.

She is an extremist and so is her pick for VP, Tim Walz, Governor of Minnesota.

Together, they are a uber left radicals.

Yes, Tim Walz sat on his hands while Minneapolis burned to the ground! All while Harris was raising money to get accused Antifa thugs released from custody by way of the Bail Project.

Yes, it would seem Democratic voters are

under massive hypnosis. Focusing on a moving pocket watch while our economy tanks! No doubt their energy will be devoted to climate change, gender identity, DEI and paying off Unions.

I find it interesting that Harris has had NO press conference or interview since she assented into Presidential candidate and “sleepy” Joe was shown the door by Pelosi. Amazing, Harris finds herself in this position without winning a single primary! She was “anointed “ by the donors and party bosses. Wait, what? How did she come so far, so quickly…just ask Willie!

Those trying to put Harris into the White House are counting on the American voters to exhibit certain behaviors. These include complacency, fantasy thinking, ignorance of history, tolerance of a candidate’s sordid personal life, willingness to believe impossible promises, and the deluded belief that the ability to lead the country is vastly enhanced by their gender and skin color. Add to the mix a large dose of wishful thinking that killing the unborn, and castrating confused children is a good thing. Combine all of this confusion with disdain for an obviously imperfect Trump, and you have a formula for putting this nitwit it the Oval Office. It may be that beneath the cackle and word salad there is a sharp, calculating evil mind, which is even more worrisome. Before you start writing a response that Trump is far from perfect in his personal life, and that his persona many find obnoxious, consider the election as another binary choice. It feels like 2016 all over. Most of the time, voting is choosing between two flawed individuals. If you judge between the two people running for President in November based on their history of achievement, strength on the world stage, and a realistic idea of how to get our country back on track, the obvious choice is Trump. Don’t be fooled, and keep praying.

They just want us to die, sure, that's obvious. But not themselves. And when they see that fire blocking the exits to their bunkers in New Zealand and Mars they are going to push Kamala into flames and run for their lives. The financial situation and WWIII are going to be real problems for Kamala that she can't just giggle “no problem” to and flounce away from. I'm not an expert on hypnotism, but in the 1950s I engaged in it to learn what it was about. One thing I did notice was that only those who wanted to be controlled by the hypnotist were, the others didn't fall under the spell. AND if some significant outside disturbance occurred the hypnotized could be brought out from under the hypnotist's control.

So my thinking is that many are submitting their wills to be hypnotized, by either party by the way, and some might be brought out from under the "mindless" control if the external events loom large enough to snap them out of it. That's my hope...for ALL who are hypnotized. Snap out of it!

I read this solid article by Mr. Schulte titled "Your Getting Sleepy" where the new

title should read "You Are Getting Brainwashed Government Style" via

"Operation Mockingbird" Everyone here has lamented "Big Brother"

and the "Deep State" especially now in the Assassination Attempt of Donald Trump

and the complete Big-Media-Shut-Down that has followed. I quote from the

website below which can be found at the CIA's website as well.

https://libertywingspan.com/52879/uncategorized/operation-mockingbird/

"Operation Mockingbird was a covert U.S. government operation run by the CIA to implant pro-US propaganda in American media and front organizations. Starting in the 1950s, the CIA began to hire and contract students and people in the media to write false stories, or embellish stories to favor the U.S government."

"It was blown open in 1977 when famed journalist Carl Bernstein, who also, with his partner Bob Woodward, exposed the Watergate scandal in 1974. In his 1977 piece, The CIA and the Media, Bernstein revealed that certain reporters not only were paid by the U.S government, they also engaged in more extensive relationships with the CIA, even sharing notebooks, and some were paid upwards of $500,000 for their work."

The Big-Media and Elite are Playing All ..................... to Shut-Down the obvious.

It’s funny, sad, troubling to see how easily it is to manipulate people.

COVID was the start of the obvious blatant brainwashing.

People feared for their lives while homeless never died.

Then the savior offered a cotton tshirt to save you. Then an experimental drug that did not prevent the disease. To this day there are still people wearing masks driving alone in convertible cars.

They made the elections about defeating a man not about policies. They created an enemy like they did with the Russians through the Cold War.

Sad to say, but the country needed these last several years under Biden to wake up people.

Slowly people are seeing the lies, but will they vote against what’s been ingrained in them?

“Project Stargate was a multimillion-dollar program launched by the CIA at the height of the Cold War, to try and get ahead of the Soviet Union on powers of the mind. It was the result of rumors about the Soviets that were swirling around in the 1970s; the CIA believed the USSR was spending 60 million roubles annually on ESP and mind-reading projects, to aid in its espionage efforts.” The only question I have is this still going on today??

Taking another trip in the Way Back Machine: 1941 Author Erich Fromm - Escape from Freedom:

The book was all the rage in the 1950/60's the when Age of Conformity was meeting head-on with the 1960's Great Hippie social revolution. Covid in 2020 yet again proved people still easily trade security for freedom; and not even question if the alleged security threat was even real. The "government" says it is, and that was good enough for them. This is Stockholm Syndrome - not science.

Many still do not question what in fact really happened election year 2020 forward, until now election year 2024. Both sides and the media have made the massive "covid" social and economic dislocation taboo.

So yet again during Covid ...we tried to escape from freedom.

Escape From Freedom - Erich Fromm (Actually not a bad synopsis follows) - Probably worth a re-read today. Selling liberty and freedom in this new Age of Acute Anxiety may meet headwinds. Harris-Walz 2024 are promising cradle to grave total security: Free health care, free childcare, free senior care, free houses.

WIKI: Escape from Freedom is a book by psychoanalyst Erich Fromm, first published in the United States by Farrar & Rinehart in 1941....

....In the book, Fromm explores humanity's shifting relationship with freedom, how individual freedom can cause fear, anxiety and alienation, and how many people seek relief by relinquishing freedom.

He describes how authoritarianism can be a mechanism of escape, with special emphasis on the psychosocial conditions that enabled the rise of Nazism.
