Thank you Monica. I haven' forgotten about the millions having been invited to cross the border into the U.S. I'm just suggesting that an immediate deportation isn't the way to go. A saner solution would be, first to get rid of anyone who's broken the law since they've been here. Immediately, no questions asked. The rest of the invitees should be given a grace period of three to six months to get their stuff together to return home. After all, they were invited by Biden, so as new hosts we can be gracious. Shut off payment of hotel rooms, meals, freebies, and other accommodations immediately; the only thing we may pay for is transportation out of the U.S. We'll still be accused of horrific deeds by the idiots in favour of open borders, but we'll make some friends, particularly of those legal immigrants already here and established. And, we'll be doing the right thing.

Trump won because the other guy couldn't put together a coherent sentence. Nobody who carefully watched that debate could possibly say Trump did a good job. Even his attacks on Biden were disjointed or so over the top that it made him look silly. Accusing Biden of killing babies after they are born is typical Trump hyperbole regardless of what you think about abortion. The Trump lies were manifold. There are too many to list but one whopper is when he said illegal immigrants are killing Social Security and Medicare. They are not eligible to receive either. Oh, and as much as Biden loves tax increases, I can't find where he has proposed increasing your taxes by four times. It almost makes Trump look like an idiot to claim that everybody, including all legal scholars, wanted to end Roe v Wade. I didn't like Roe but many others did.
I truly want to see Biden defeated in Nov but I still fear the only Republican who could blow it is Trump. Although it is too early after the debate, the first few major polls that have come out show that Trump did not get a boost from the debate, which if you think about it is remarkable.

Former Virginia governor Northam, during a radio interview responded to a question about a late-term abortion whereupon the baby was still alive out of the womb. He is a physician, an his response was that, first they'd make the baby comfortable and then they'd have a conversation with the mother to figure out what to do with the baby. Sounds to me like infanticide was an option.
Hi Jim, I remember that interview with Northam but as far as I know there are no states which permit infanticide. I suppose you could have a case where the baby is born alive after a botched abortion but it is clear the baby cannot survive. What one should do in that situation is above my pay grade.

I think you would have to agree, Jim , the way Trump framed it, it seemed to include situations where a healthy viable baby was born and then killed. I don't think this is legal anywhere.
Even the subject of late term abortions is far more complex than either side is willing to admit. Very few healthy fetuses are terminated in the last trimester. The situation which is harder to legislate is when a seriously deformed fetus is discovered late in the pregnancy and the compassionate thing to do is give the mother and father the option to decide if they want to proceed with the pregnancy. Just so you know, I am not talking about Down Syndrome.

Thank you Monica. I haven' forgotten about the millions having been invited to cross the border into the U.S. I'm just suggesting that an immediate deportation isn't the way to go. A saner solution would be, first to get rid of anyone who's broken the law since they've been here. Immediately, no questions asked. The rest of the invitees should be given a grace period of three to six months to get their stuff together to return home. After all, they were invited by Biden, so as new hosts we can be gracious. Shut off payment of hotel rooms, meals, freebies, and other accommodations immediately; the only thing we may pay for is transportation out of the U.S. We'll still be accused of horrific deeds by the idiots in favour of open borders, but we'll make some friends, particularly of those legal immigrants already here and established. And, we'll be doing the right thing.

Trump won because the other guy couldn't put together a coherent sentence. Nobody who carefully watched that debate could possibly say Trump did a good job. Even his attacks on Biden were disjointed or so over the top that it made him look silly. Accusing Biden of killing babies after they are born is typical Trump hyperbole regardless of what you think about abortion. The Trump lies were manifold. There are too many to list but one whopper is when he said illegal immigrants are killing Social Security and Medicare. They are not eligible to receive either. Oh, and as much as Biden loves tax increases, I can't find where he has proposed increasing your taxes by four times. It almost makes Trump look like an idiot to claim that everybody, including all legal scholars, wanted to end Roe v Wade. I didn't like Roe but many others did.
I truly want to see Biden defeated in Nov but I still fear the only Republican who could blow it is Trump. Although it is too early after the debate, the first few major polls that have come out show that Trump did not get a boost from the debate, which if you think about it is remarkable.

Former Virginia governor Northam, during a radio interview responded to a question about a late-term abortion whereupon the baby was still alive out of the womb. He is a physician, an his response was that, first they'd make the baby comfortable and then they'd have a conversation with the mother to figure out what to do with the baby. Sounds to me like infanticide was an option.
Hi Jim, I remember that interview with Northam but as far as I know there are no states which permit infanticide. I suppose you could have a case where the baby is born alive after a botched abortion but it is clear the baby cannot survive. What one should do in that situation is above my pay grade.

I think you would have to agree, Jim , the way Trump framed it, it seemed to include situations where a healthy viable baby was born and then killed. I don't think this is legal anywhere.
Even the subject of late term abortions is far more complex than either side is willing to admit. Very few healthy fetuses are terminated in the last trimester. The situation which is harder to legislate is when a seriously deformed fetus is discovered late in the pregnancy and the compassionate thing to do is give the mother and father the option to decide if they want to proceed with the pregnancy. Just so you know, I am not talking about Down Syndrome.
Probably not that often, Lou, but I really don't know. It, however, was the callous way Northam disregarded the baby's situation that really exposed his and probably many others' indifference to the life of an unborn or even mistakenly born child.

Completely agree! He is the classic "yes man" that will support any issue that gets him his next paycheck or his next office. I do feel sorry for him, but I don't really have too much compassion because not only did he agree to do this, he went full force and supported this every step of the way of his entire life. Any compassion and sympathy I feel is because he is too old to really know what he's doing anymore and I blame his "wife" (term used lightly because she's using him to get what she wants), I blame his handlers, and I blame his party.

The entire SB County was infested with the Drug Cartel where they would openly do thier deals in grocery stores and other public places while the Keystone Cops had thier coffee and donuts, sipping and smacking watching the Drug Deals go down.
