Can Americans cope, survive as free people or is the rising demand to be taken care of by a family dynasty?

Is there any doubt as evidenced by CA’s statewide voter turnout today of only 28.6% the day before the official Election Day— that the majority of Californians are willing to cede part or all of their sovereignty to a politically elite, trusted, aligned ‘family dynasty’ to control our country? There’s no commitment to civic duty by stupid, ignorant, lazy, entitled, assuming, or alienated citizens. When Elders are the highest voting segment, we know there’s trouble within the American social experiment.

Our forefathers fought to be free from royal control. 250 years later, some seek its return — to be taken care of by the Pelosi-Newsom or another cabal — as per posts on “X” from those associated with Open Society, DSA and other groups, and as reported by ‘The Pulse’. Your article’s opening gives food for thought.

Entitlements for the masses results in dependencies which has led to seeking perceived benevolent dynasty control for survival.

If seniors remain the highest turnout group of voters, you actually won't find me complaining. It takes wisdom and life experience to make the necessary decisions that impact so many.

Not a believer that this current push for "universal voting" and intentionally "easy voting" is a good idea.

Caring about voting as a precious duty is far more important, than just willy-nilly scattering ballots out to those who are too lazy to do anything on their own to honor their right to vote, with a just marginal bit of formal effort - like actually going to and signing in at a polling place.

Even signing in today is now done on a "machine' with a chicken-scratch finger tip "signature" on an electronic screen - could be anyone signing in, if that is their only source of identification. How can they possibly use that electronic chicken scratch that to verify anything? Tech people, please enlighten me.

We went to the polls this morning, there were maybe about three other voters there. I had to insist they officially "spoil my mail-in ballot" and make sure it was placed into the "spoiled ballot bag", before I got my in-person ballot.

Just as the Mafia has the 5 families which controls criminal activity, California has the 3 families; the Brown’s, Newsom’s and Pelosi’s which controls political activity. Certainly, the Getty’s and others played a role in setting up the political dynasty we have now. I would add notable other key players, namely, the Alioto’s and Penetta’s.

What does this have to do with organized crime? Take a look at Nancy’s father, Thomas Alessandro, former Baltimore Mayor and Congressman.

Add in the fascinating J. Paul Getty, at one time the richest man in the world, and it gets interesting. J. Paul, was once said to be such a cheap tightwad that he had a pay phone for guests of his sprawling mansion to use.

Local connection to the Getty’s was that Getty Oil first used and operated their terminal at Gaviota.

The Panetta link is largely unknown it seems. His family tentacles go from the CIA deep into the NorCal Green Mafia, UN and beyond. Leon and his son Jimmy.... SMH...Thanks LT.

Thank you, Robert. I've said this before and I'll say it again: put a photo of Newsom next to Ted Bundy, both smiling, and you know everything you need to know about our governor.

Mr. Eringer: Aside from the hints of nepotism and insinuations of malfeasance it was hard to see where in your article Gavin Newsom (our next President) is actually guilty of any crime. I mean, it's not like he was convicted of 34 felonies, given $400m by his daddy, or close friends with Jeffrey Epstein whose files he refuses to release. Jus' sayin'.

Please tell me there is a secret order of California plutocrats called MOSWEN. This story HAS to be a sequel to The DaVinci Code. There are so many delicious details as yet undisclosed…like, is there a familial (or emotional) connection to Eddie Munster? And, what National Enquirer tidbits can Kimberly G-N offer to the story? This is AREA 151-caliber stuff. Can’t wait for Season 3. [Actually, the corrupting of CA is one factor that drove me to move out of state after 68 yrs…so I’ve actually lost interest and stopped midway through Season 1]

I remember you writing about this earlier back in the days of the Santa Barbara news press and thinking, why hasn’t any of the California or national media outlets written about this subject? It is so underhanded and cloak and dagger that it could be made into a movie! With Hollywood starving for original material, I would think this would qualify and make someone millions.

Truth seems to always be far stranger than fiction. (The historic backstory does read like a Tom Clancy series) Thank you for the look into who handles the puppet strings of money, power and influence. It is important in many ways.

Everyone in California should have the opportunity to read this article, regardless of political affiliation, if they are to understand and reject this Oligarchy of control of California.

I can't help but notice that if Newscum did in fact once prefer to eat “Wonder bread and macaroni and cheese” that is a classic Asperger's diet. Avoiding foods with texture. Resulting in "a developmental condition characterized by difficulties in social interaction, communication, and restricted interests or repetitive behaviors." Might we add narcissism, entitlement, and delusions of grandeur?

Kind of like the leader who likes McDonald's. I'd say your last sentence applies to many elected officials, leaders and presidents on both sides of the RedBlue divide.
