Thank you, Robert, for bringing up the body harvesting of political prisoners in China. It was one of the most infuriating parts of the BLM summer that I would get emails from people about racism and slavery in America - I knew one young white woman who marched up and down Coast Village Road carrying a Black Lives Matter sign past the pricey boutiques - when they were using devices that had most likely been made by slaves in China or driving a car that used batteries made by slaves. When I explained the cruel irony of that to them, they were unmoved.

I became interested in the Falun Gong when I lived in downtown NYC. I would walk to Chinatown to shop for Asian ingredients and to have Dim Sum at the strange and wonderful Nom Wah Tea Parlor. I often passed elderly Chinese people doing Falun Gong in one of the parks. I became interested in the practice and learned about the persecution of them in China. I sent money to Epoch Times, because of their connection to the Falun Gong. Subsequently, I learned about the Uyghurs as well, and joined the Campaign for Uyghurs and send money every Ramadan to that organization.

The harvesting of body parts isn't restricted to political prisoners. For a long time I've gotten alerts about Planned Parenthood from organizations that, as far as I can tell, are doing reputable investigative work into PP's financial relationship with the sale of aborted baby parts, as well as writing to our CA government against late term abortion, because it so obviously is just that, a body part business possibility.

For me, the ugliest of hypocrisies of the Left is its exploitation of “oppression” while ignoring the very real slavery and organ harvesting going on in the world.

I’m enjoying this news update with the art work! News from Montecito to Minnesota to Moscow, all right here on the Current, flavored with insightful commentary.

For like minded folks, we have outdoor movie viewing of Letter to the American Church, this Sunday at the ROC Ranch, and a Steve Garvey fund raiser on Sunday September 8.

I read this potpori article from Mr. Eringer titled "Harry Pecked! Putin Decked! Walz Wrecked! FBI Suspect!" I quote from the one cogent comment as follows "There is something not quite right about all the so-called “bungling.” If you want my opinion, “they” had a plan—and that’s what got bungled. I’ve seen enough shit go down in the past 61 years (let’s call it the magician’s sleight of hand) not to believe otherwise. (While in Vegas on March 26th, I serendipitously learned a couple of things from an ex-special forces guy that, with hindsight, and without going into detail, seriously bolster my contention.)"

The Bungling of exactly "WHO" is the question because there are alot of "Dark Forces" working against each other but on another note .............

Mr. Eringer since you stated in your article "....FBI Suspect" why do you not have a sit-down talk with them since they are here in our lovely little ole town of Santa Barbara addressing the restless native

So-Called-Leaders and just about everyone else in Control here.

I would bring this all home here to Santa Barbara. Anyone cremated in Santa Barbara to destroy all of the evidence? Does the Santa Barbara Coroners Office and the Santa Barbara Sheriffs Office have "Alittle Problem" with cremated bodys?

A lot of topics were presented in today's Current. Starting with Harry and Megan, I know a lot of people may find them interesting. I do not. 'Nuf said on that topic. On Putin and Russia. I guess it all boils down to what sources you listen to and put your trust in. I have listened for quite a while to Col Douglas MrGregor and also Scott Ritter, their takes being MUCH different than the main stream media's depiction and Mr. Eringer's of both Russia and Putin. The Chinese organ harvesting is absolutely monstrous and it is good to get more information on this topic out to the public. Gavin Newsome. What a typical political animal he is and so in love with himself. Tim Waltz. Kamala picked him -what can you say. Trump and Judge Merchan. I am really hoping that these corrupt judges get their comeuppance. They should be disbarred and kept out of the legal arena for life. Trumps shooter's body. Never heard that it had disappeared under those circumstances. Another coverup? And lastly, Starbucks. Although I am not and never have been a coffee drinker, I loved the description Mr. Eringer gave of the "old" Starbuck's" I can actually picture the coziness of it. Sorry for the patrons that it has changed so drastically.

Mr. Eringer mentions the state sponsored demise of a once great California company, Standard Oil. This company has been a major contributor to our economy for the last 145 years. It generated over $200 billion in revenue last year and employed over 2,000 Californians.

It simply did what many in our state have done, gone to Texas. And why not? Less or NO income taxes, less regulatory controls, more profitable for the shareholders and better standard of living for their employees.

Now what? Where are we supposed to get our fuel from, all Chevron stations have closed?

How is our electric grid handle all this demand…it won’t! All at the same time radicals in this state are trying to shut down Diablo and end nuclear power.

Maybe those in the local green mafia can explain how we are supposed to travel about in the future…by e-scooter?

Like many failed relationships, the seeds for divorce came slowly at first, and then all the sudden. Decades ago Chevron knew its future in California was coming to an end, when their off-shore drilling rights were under attack by local "environmentalists".

I was in the metro area of Kansas City and surrounding area last week where Reg. Gas was under $3/gallon. Why is this? Very simple, the state tax is much less and the good folks of Kansas and Missouri capitalize on their abundance of corn for Ethanol. What a success story for them. In addition, the roads and freeways are immaculate. Granted, there is some use of toll roads, but the infrastructure are clearly much better and more advanced than California.

With the loss of Standard Oil, how is the loss of tax revenue and royalties to California made up? Billions in loss revenue to our state to pay for roads, schools, bloated pensions etc. What becomes of S.O. land holdings in the hundreds of millions?

No doubt environmental groups under the guise of “Land Trusts “ have their eyes on these parcels. Once private/taxed parcels are put into a land trust…poof, it’s taken off the tax base!

Yes, the Dems are gaining momentum during their convention. Either that or Trump is losing momentum? The fix seems to be in and the thought of a Harris-Walz victory is totally depressing.

The lunatic left is gaining a foothold and now the abnormal is becoming normal, God help us all.

In the meantime, Biden and family just landed at SBA. Wonder why? Checking out real estate or picking up a bag of money?

This election cycle goes to show all of us how easy it is to throw an election. Sure, have the press give favorable coverage, no questions, no news conference, no problem! She gives the same old lefty platitudes no specifics, no details, just pull the level for Blue.

We’ll find out the details later, after she is in office.

As if you folks don’t already know this, a Harris victory will give the Dems the White House for the next 16 years. Yes, the first Black woman as President, only to be following by the first gay President in Mayor Pete. After all, optics are everything!

Love Eringer's use of language and satire! Love the characterization of Putin and the cut-throat political/mob culture typical of Russia. Brilliant! Brings back memories of Bill Browder's book (I read his 2nd). Re Gavin, I can appreciate the humor. Re Crooks' body, please, not another conspiracy theory. After 10 days what could his corpse reveal? Brain rot? He couldn't exactly be interrogated.

Expand full comment
J. Livingston's avatar

What could further body examination reveal? Independent corroboration of bullet trajectories. Whether there were two sharp shooters on site. Any unreported tattoos that may have revealed insights into the alleged killer's mind set. In these case, best to have several independent sources.

The attempted assassination of the current leading US President candidate, and former US President was the object of interest. Which adds a detail of interest in getting everything right (or intentionally wrong.)

After all drug addict George Floyd went from toxic fatal overdose and no neck injuries and no asphyxiation on initial autopsy; to second degree murder by police officer over the course of several "autopsies.

TJ: Guard against polls that under-sample GOP and lack of electoral vote analysis.

....... “The average of the RealClearPolitics polls, they've got, they've got Harris up a point right now, but it's got some of those bad polls in there,” McLaughlin said.

“And then when you look at where they're no toss ups on the Electoral College vote, they got Trump at 287 and they got Harris [at] like 231, something like that. So it's a close race, but Trump's ahead.”........."

There was also a good explanation of even the "sudden rise in covid cases" data sampling - digging into a bowl of chicken vegetable soup - some spoonfuls will get more carrots than others, even though the total numbers of carrots remain the same. Does that mean there is a "sudden rise" in the number of carrots? Depends whether it is an election year or not.

I have no idea if this troubled kid was part of a larger conspiracy or not. I find it interesting that his romantic life has not been disclosed. Aren’t most, normal 20 year olds romantically involved? What about him? What pronouns did he go by? Again, I don’t know that’s why I’m asking.

If it turns out he was just a 20 year old psych case and was in a position to change history forever because of incompetence, then we are in some big trouble.

We can never now know if Crooks' body revealed anything. Perhaps a tattoo was found by x-ray fluorescence to have a signature elemental composition? And further, this elemental composition is only found in tattoos made in Iran? I could make up 100 ways that a body can tell a story but in your words they will remain conspiracy theories. That has been assured by destruction of the evidence. I also have some conspiracy theories about what was on the Hillary server.

Calling something immediately a (partisan) "conspiracy theory", does quickly gets rid of the body of evidence.

Gossip. Why can’t writers ignore Harry’s life? Give him commoner status, the civilian privacy he initially sought despite his book. Move on: write about something that matters! Who cares about their staff? Employer- employee relationships are none of anyone’s business until it’s an official legal matter. I’d welcome closure. Let Harry kick a soccer ball at Westmont, ride bikes with his kids, walk the beach, and with luck find peace with his family in tiny Montecito. Give a neighborly wave or smile, and let them be.
