Christians Can Flip California
If you haven’t voted yet, there are two sides to every coin. One is the “vote early” group that has already cast their ballots. Then there are voters ready to go to the polls on Tuesday. Some of these later voters say “vote at your polling place after 2 pm, so election fraud is not able to flip these ballots.
As of today, 199,619 Republican mail-in ballots have not been returned in Pennsylvania.
There are more than 92,000 Amish in Pennsylvania, the largest Amish community in any state in the USA. And this year many more are voting than usual since they are concerned about losing their religious liberty. One billboard in Lancaster county proclaims “Pray For God’s Mercy on Our Nation.” This billboard features a large picture of a wide-brimmed straw hat often worn by Amish farmers, with their Pennsylvania German dialect printed below, “Fer Die Amish…”
Most Amish have not voted in the past since they historically have separated themselves from mainstream society, just as they have maintained their dialect and horse and buggy transportation. PA GOP representative Lloyd Smucker says the Amish are becoming increasingly more involved in politics than in the past. Smucker, whose roots are Amish, is encouraging them to get involved in voting this year.
President Trump lost Pennsylvania in 2020 by 80,555 votes. Which means if even half of this states’ Amish population vote, the former President could gain a favorable lead just by these ballots alone. Amish are receptive to Trump’s promises of a smaller government, less regulation, and more freedom of religion.
So why should you vote now in California if you haven’t already?
Your Vote Really Does Count
You might think your vote doesn’t count but it definitely does for local races. Some of these are won and lost by 5 to 10 votes. Your ballot can make the difference between DEI and CRT in Santa Barbara County schools and businesses, the re-opening of State Street, or of nearly $200 million being added to local property taxes if Measure P passes for Santa Barbara City College. This once great institution was number one for years in junior colleges nationally. But it is ranked below number 75 today. There are only 3,500 students attending in person. There were 12,000 on-campus students pre-Covid, but it has never recovered. Antioch University is leasing part of the facility. Administrative salaries continue to grow while the school’s buildings and gym continue to decay.
This is why you are voting, and yes, your vote counts… tremendously, locally, and nationally. There are 15 million Christians in California: the most of any state in the Union. Imagine what would happen if they all voted, Christians could flip this state and the nation.
Four years ago, America took a wrong turn and lost its purpose, we lost the strength that makes Americans who we are. If we dared to speak the truth, it was called hate speech, and our values were labeled shameful. That’s when the nation started falling apart. We surrendered our borders, our paychecks, and our courage; our patriotism was called toxic. Men could beat up women and get medals, but there was no praise for the guy that got up every day to do his job. Now you are being asked to settle for the way things are.
Fight For Your Right… To Vote!
Can America make a comeback? It can; it has done it before. When Americans get knocked down, they don’t stay down. They get up again and fight. People who get elected to Congress never reflect the values of this country, they only reflect the values of those who voted in the last election. So, if you want your values to be represented on Tuesday, you are going to have to speak up and vote biblically. If Christians go out and vote in this election, we could win every issue in America.
Politics is based on who shows up at the ballot box.
Also, you will answer to God for your vote. We will stand before Him and He will ask, “What did you do with that country I gave you? What did you do with that vote I gave you? It won’t cut the mustard to say, ‘Oh Lord, I decided not to get involved in that. The Bible clearly states in Mt 25 and Luke 19 that we get in trouble for not taking and using what He gave us. A Christian’s vote is a duty you have to the Lord because He put the country in your hands. The Lord is saying, “You guys take care of this until I get back.” And we will be the ones who will have to give Him an account of our vote.
Are you going to fight for your right to vote in this great country? If you can make it to the polls before 8 pm on Tuesday, you are exercising a freedom that two million Americans have died for during the past 250 years of our existence. Your voice matters and if you want to maintain the right to exercise it instead of being silenced, you must get into the polling place by Tuesday. Honor that and honor will come back to you pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
